I have been having a very difficult time finding the right shoe for my feet. I had to send back three other pairs that had seemed promising. I ordered these and am I ever glad I did! What comfort and support! My only negative is that my feet are between a normal and a narrow width. These tend to run a tad on the wider side but I took care of that by wearing 2 pair of socks! A small price to pay for comfort! As always, my hat is off to Zappos for their service and patience and attention to its customers. Mary

These walkers are terrific! I walk two miles each morning and my feet never complain in my Rykas. I've tried other walking shoes and always come back to Ryka. Do order a half size up.

Love these shoes. I have narrow heels, they fit perfect. I do take a nine vs my usual 8 and 1/2 but that makes them perfect.

Love them! I'm usually a size 12, but the 11 fit me perfectly. Light shoes, stable base. I'm heavy and have a number of foot problems and these shoes are helping me get moving without any pain.

I've been wearing two pair of Rykas I bought in a discount store in Berkeley, Ca for the past three years and they're still pretty good. But I decided to treat myself with two new pair of Ryka Sport Walker Advance and I love them. You know how you never thought about how your feet felt when you were a kid? That's how these shoes are, so comfortable you don't even give your feet a thought. I walk 4 to 6 miles at a fast pace in the woods and hills with my dog most every day and my feet never get tired. I love that the heel is narrow so the foot doesn't slip. And I can do without the mesh as once it gets dirty, it's never white again.

Got them for my partner. She said they are like walking on a cloud! She was also happy that the mesh upper accommodating her bunion, no rubbing/pressure(sorry honey). because of mesh great for indoor/gym workouts or everyday spring/summer. Not a winter shoe I would say.

These shoes are the most comfortable walking shoe I have owned. I needed a moderate rocker shoe suggested by my podiatrist and found these to be great...so great I ordered the same shoe in blue accents. I wish they would offer them in black. No break-in period needed.

Very comfortable shoe, true to size, wide toe box, narrow heel, fits me well. Last lace-up hole on one shoe not punched out, and laces too short, not really a big deal.

Comfortable for walking. I wear them when on my feet most of the day, and they are OK. Not the most comfortable I've owned but certainly not the worst. True to size.

Fit was as expected from Ryka except for heel. That is why I buy Ryka, the heel is generally very narrow, but for some reason this pair was not. It slipped on every step.

I ordered this shoe to walk on paved and dirt trails. The shoe has good cushioning, but is wider than other medium with Ryca walking shoes I've had in the past. It makes my foot look too wide. I wish Ryca had the shoe I ordered last year. I will order a different Ryca walking shoe next.

These are super comfortable shoes. I am on my feet at work for upwards of 12 hours per day and they do not hurt my feet at the end of the night. I put arch supports in them though because the mesh just does not offer much support for overpronators.

I've always worn Ryka Rocker, which I thought this is what I was buying when I did a search for that shoe. I was wrong and very disappointed...I'll be sending them back...please don't fix which is not broken!

Although the shoe is very light and nice to look at, the heel is just not stable enough for walking. I have loved Ryka shoes for many years, so I was very disappointed that this shoe was not up to the quality of the pairs I currently own.

So disappointed with this shoe. I absolutely loved the Sportwalker but Sportwalker Advanced is inferior. Not as comfortable or supportive for long walks. Talk about messing up a good thing. Both my sister and I swore by Sportwalkers. Now we have to look for a new shoe.

I don't consider my foot to be narrow, but even at a half size smaller than I usually wear, this shoe was way too roomy. If they had been cuter, I may have tried exchanging for an even smaller size, but they were very unattractive so I didn't bother.

This is my first-ever review ... I'm so disappointed in this shoe! I had never even heard of Ryka until I read a review that these were some of the best walking shoes on the market. Boy, was that review misleading! AT FIRST, the shoes were comfortable and fit great. but it wasn't long until I could feel the hard ground under my little toes. The interior padding seems to break down much quicker than any other shoe I have ever had. The shoes are very lightweight (which I actually like), but I am not happy with the fast breakdown of the shoes. It's very disappointing to have to buy a new pair of walking shoes after just a month of wearing them. I ended up switching to an old pair of shoes, just to get me by for a while longer. I expect to get a lot more mileage out of my shoes. I'll never buy this brand again.

I bought these not to long ago.I ordered size 9.5 they fit good ,but they feel sloppy on my feet around the heel and arch.I have ordered this Ryka before and love them. Couldn't find theh same shoe.

I have been wearing Ryka Shoes since 2005, but I am really disappointed in this particular shoe. It feels wide and offers little arch support or stability. Additionally, the insole isn't comfortable and they cramp my feet. Unfortunately I wore them outside before realizing just how uncomfortable they are, so I can't return them. My absolute favorite Ryka shoe, that I purchased in 2006, was the Ryka KM Stability Walker, SKU: #7134370. I wish they could bring that one back!
