I bought these shoes for my sister in law who had a stroke. She needed a shoe that could slide some to allow her to pivot and walk. She needed a shoe without too much grip and this worked. Her left side is very swollen as a result of the stroke and these shoes worked great to accommodate the swelling. With the Velcro around the heal and across the instep we could tighten the right shoe enough that it wouldn't fall off as that foot has no swelling and is smaller. The Velcro allowed adjustments throughout the day for the swollen foot. They are deep enough to accommodate her prothesis. These are not pretty so we will have to find a way to bling them up a little for her. They are a man's shoe but it is not offered in women's that I could find. Overall just what physical therapist requested. She is also diabetic so good for her feet. Wish it came in colours other than only black. I can't speak to the comfort so gave it an average rating.

I have neuropathy and hammer toe. I use this shoe as a slipper in the house due to it's softness and comfort. I gave it a 4 star since the sides are soft and collapse easily if you walk quickly. The sole is semi-rigid which is good. I do have minor trouble putting the shoe on without undoing the Velcro since the material tends to fold over if you try to slip your foot into it without opening the Velcro. But overall it's a good comfortable shoe that not good for the outdoors due to the fabric sides which will get wet in the morning grass or if it's raining.

I purchased these shoes for my 95 year old Father. He has severe problems with his feet and was having trouble finding a shoe that he could get into. These shoes have been a godsend. The Velcro closures for the heel and instep have made the easy to put on and the moderately rigid sole has provided the stability he needs to walk safely. I would recommend buying them one size larger than usual.

Upper is very nice and soft. Sole is very hard, not as soft as my other Propet shoes, which is dissappointing. Can adjust the width easily. Almost a little short, not quite size 12.

I have neuropathy and am looking for a slipper that's got a wide and high toe box. This slipper missed both those requirements so sent them back. The size was "true," but I didn't notice any arch support. I reordered the next width up and it still didn't cut it for those needs, so also returned it. Still looking for what I need and hope I don't have to pay big $$ to have something custom-made.

My husband has very sore feet, diabetes and chronic arthritis pain in big toes. We were hoping these would work, had been sitting in box until today and not worn. He put on today and said they were not comfortable. I am sorry for being so late in getting them back to you. Only wore one hour on carpet in house.

This is not the shoe that my dad received. I am a bit disappointed. I had these ship directly to him..I will never do that again, I will always check before I give anything as a gift. The shoe that he got was significantly cheaper than the shoe shown here. Non the less, they fit and he wants to keep them. Bait and switch ?

It would be better if the slipper was made on separate 2E & 3E widths.

Perfect for feet recovering from problems. Very soft almost slipper like. Two Velcro tabs gives versatility to fit.

I have such foot issues, very large, for starters, but chiefly painful arthritis in the top bone of my foot. This could have been just the ticket with an adjustable, fold across top. Unfortunately, there is NO arch support in this shoe… Just can't work. The search continues…

The sizing is ridiculous with Propet. I ordered the Olivia prior to this and the size felt too large so on this order I sized down a full size and it is literally still 2 sizes too big. My toes don't even reach the end of the tongue of the shoe. I give up on trying to buy Propet. Thank heaven for Zappos have a really awesome return policy!!

These are uniquely the worst shoes I have ever tried to get used to. There is much to like about them: the concept, the material, the sizing, etc. However, I cannot understand why I cannot wear them any length of time without incurring pain in my feet, ankles, lower legs, and knees. I have very much desired to be able to get used to them and be able to wear these shoes, and have repeatedly endeavored to do so, but no matter how much I have tried I just cannot. The problem, I think, is in the design of the sole of the shoe. Maybe I did not order the right size: I first got a size 9.5, in which my big toes jammed up against the front of the shoes; so, I ordered size 10.5, in which I have had the problems described above. I eliminated the under-arch pain by cutting out the arch-area of a set of Spenco cushion soles, but that did not eliminate the pain in other areas of my feet, ankles, lower legs and knees.
