I got these for my 9 month old son who recently started walking. They are easy to get on and off and the sole is a bit thicker than other infant shoes so I feel more secure with letting him walk outside.

Love these shoes. So easy to get on my little boy. He is still a crawler and pulling up on things. Daycare requires him to wear shoes and these are the best shoes out there for beginner walkers. Make sure to check the sizing on Pediped website. My little boy is 12 months but wore the 6-12 month sizing which is 4-4.5 inches.

Happy with purchase. Good quality to keep feet and toes from getting bumped while trying to crawl/stand/walk. Velcro is good to keep shoes on feet and wide opening makes easy to get on/off. Nice first shoe.

I bought this shoe in size 12-18 months because my son's 6-12 month Jax Pediped Originals worked very well for him. Those were a 2-strap model that stayed on well. This strap doesn't seem to extend as easily completely across the velcro tab, and my son removes them with little effort. In retrospect, I didn't need to be so dedicated to the Pediped brand in my shopping. It's a very good shoe, but other soft-soled brands might work just as well for him in these early walking days.

I ordered these shoes for my 14 month old who hates shoes and has chubby feet. (They are sized at 18-24 months.) They fit perfectly! The bottom of the shoes are a little slippery on my tile floor but over all my little one and I love them! Easy on and off and they match with everything!

Best shoes ever, well worth the money. I'm on a very limited budget, but it was important for me to have good shoes for my son. He could not walk in other shoes, tripping, falling, running into walls! Will make sure he has at least 1 pair of pedipeds at all times!

I love these shoes. My twin boys didn't even notice that they had shoes on. They are walking well in them. They are a little slick on my hardwood floors, but otherwise great. I will be getting another pair for my friend's granddaughter's 1st birthday. Love them! Great shoes for babies learning to walk.

When my son started to pull up and cruise along walls and furniture, his daycare teacher asked that we get a pair of shoes that would help prevent slipping. I wanted something that was still flexible and didn't constrain his feet too much and these fit the bill. As the weather warmed up and they started going outside to play, these held up really well out on uneven surfaces and gravel. Now that he's walking on his own, they still fit and I still really like them. Very pleased with how these have held up.

I really like this shoe for my son. They run a little big so he is in a 6-12 month shoe at 12 months and will probably stay in it a while. They are easy to put on and they stay on well. My only criticism is that the bottom is very slippery for beginning standers and walkers.

Bought these shoes for my 10 month old. They fit well and are super cute! My only complaint is that they are too easy for him to take off, which he does all the time. Overall very happy with these shoes.

These shoes are great, fit very easily as they open wide, and they are perfect for my son's wide feet, however the shoes do not last. I wore the first pair for a month and they came undone in the front, I got a second pair thinking that the first pair was a lemon, and the same thing happened after a month. These are great shoes, but it is kind of expensive to buy a new pair every month.

These were adorable shoes. But they went to the garbage very soon: after a month of wear, the inner leather lining peeled up revealing the plastic non-breathable "cushion." This explained my baby's sweat-drenched little feet every time she wore these, seemingly "breathable" shoes. Also, the smell was horrid: they have a toxic, acrid chemical smell which was made insufferable when on my baby's warm and moist feet. These do not smell like quality leather shoes, but rather have a very chemical, toxic smell. I had absolutely the same experience with the soft-soled See Kai Run "smaller." Terrible smell...I wish they could make these adorable shoes from some quality, non-toxic materials. One whiff of the See Kai Run "smaller" out of the box gave me a headache for an hour. These PediPeds smelled so bad, I was surprised every time I handled them.. I am not kidding...I decided my baby will be safer without these toxic shoes.

I love this little cuties. Very well fitting. My 9 month old is just starting to walk and these give him good traction without being constrictive. I love Pedipeds.

I love these! They are great shoes for the beginner walker. They are so soft and flexible that they are perfect learning to walk shoes, they are very easy on/off and they look adorable. They hold up fairly well, too.

I tried to get shoes on my son's feet starting around 10.5 months when he was doing a lot of walking around with assistance. We had him sized at a local St.R. store and tried a few types of the prewalker shoes; he cried and refused to move his feet. I thought for sure we would never get him in shoes. I ordered the Adrian, and he adores them. When I pick up a shoe, he lifts his foot so that I can put it on him. I think that they just fit baby shaped feet really well. He has been wearing them for over a month now, and he continues to love walking around in them. The only negative is that he has learned to take them off himself. But that would be the case with any velcro shoe, I am sure.

Finally found the perfect shoe for my 15 month old. He was not a fan of shoes before now and, on top of that, he has an extremely wide foot. The velcro tab allows you to keep the shoe as wide or as narrow as needed. The bottoms are thin but sturdy since they're made of leather so the shoe feels more like a sock than a heavy soled shoe. My son can walk just fine in these. Other shoes I've purchased, he walked funny in them because the soles were too thick. The quality of these shoes are outstanding! Worth every penny! Finding shoes has been such a challenge until I found these. Love them and I'm buying another pair today in 18-24 months so he has a pair to grow in to.

My son (just turned 1) is just starting to walk and these shoes made a huge difference! They are comfy, easy to put on and he can't take them off himself. Very cute and they go with all of his summer stuff.

These are wonderful shoes for my nine month old that is just learning how to walk! They are very well-made, sturdy yet super-flexible; they fit wide, chubby baby feet perfectly and best of all, they stay on! I highly recommend them, they are worth every penny.

Love these shoes! They look so cute and are super functional. We have had them about a month and my 13 month old has really started walking a lot more during that time. The flexible soles are great for little ones who are just starting to walk. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

These were our second Pediped shoe. I wasn't as impressed as with the other Pediped's I bought. They are stiff, too wide, and the velcro could have been longer. Definitely not a shoe if you have a child without wide feet. I felt like they were too bulky and the padding on the top was too stiff to allow for easy flexing, which is why I buy these shoes. The durability so far is great. Just not my favorite Pediped.

These shoes seem very comfortable, are easy to get on and off and are very cute. However, the bottoms are so slippery! My son is a confident walker, but cannot walk on carpet or wood floors with these shoes on without doing the splits.

I may have given more stars if my son were able to wear these shoes when they were developmentally appropriate. I ordered the 6-12months before he was first learning to walk. They are the equivalent to about a size 4 in most other toddler shoes. My son must have smaller than average feet, because he didn't finally grow into these until after his 1st birthday. At this point, I felt as if they weren't appropriate for his walking ability and he needed the next stage of sole. Also, he did walk around in these a few times after they finally fit and the smooth, slippery leather bottom is not very conducive to walking on smooth surfaces like wood or tile. He was slipping all over, so I don't know how you would expect a child to learn to walk in these. The fit on these are good for chubby feet without being too wide. I would stick with Stride Rites where you can have a numerical size to compare to other brands your child is wearing when ordering online.

Crappy quality. I don’t know why I keep buying pedipeds—I get burned most of the time. These fell apart in 2.5 months of crawling, not even walking. This model in particular is bad for crawlers because they drag their toes right were there is mesh detail. Today the sole completely separated from the rest of the shoe. Two and a half months.
