These clogs were not comfortable at first. They pressed the top of my foot and I had a bruises after the first day I wore them, but I tried again and they stretched perfectly and now the leather has changed to fit my foot very well. They have great arch support and a great footbed. I have trouble wearing open back shoes because I step on the outside of my heel and I tend to turn my ankle with open backed shoes, but not with these. They hold your foot very well and the heel is not too high. They are not as wide and clunky looking as some clogs I have had before, and I think they are more flattering to wear because of that.

Great looking clog! However, it is too narrow and doesn't fit my foot like Danskos. I'll have to return these, sadly, and find some Danskos that are as cute.

Leather stiff and the top of the clog hit my foot bone - I do have high arches so if you do you might not want to buy this. I loved the look of the shoe.

This is a super comfortable clog (I have narrowish feet), but not particularly special looking. To me they really looked more like a work or very casual clog and I was looking for something more stylish/dressy. I have Sanita clogs I wear almost every day and I've always loved clogs, but I guess I need a few details if I'm going to pay so much.

I've been eyeing these clogs for a while before I took the plunge. They were really beautiful when they arrived, but they just didn't fit me well. I'm starting to think this is just a problem with my feet and Frye's, because I didn't notice too many people complaining about the width. Not only did they feel small length-wise, but they were horribly narrow. I don't have wide feet by any stretch, but they pinched at the top of my foot bridge when I walked. Not comfortable at all. I guess it's back to looking for some stylish well-made clogs, because these just weren't for me.

I have noticed that after wearing these clogs only a few times, the wood on the back of the heel is rubbing off. I assume that this is from driving and the rocking motion that your foot assumes when pressing on the gas pedal. I am going to talk to Zappos about returning the clogs. Otherwise, I really think they are adorable but the quality seems to be lacking. I am very surprised. If you do a lot of driving you might want to consider a different clog.

These were unfortunately homely. I think the non-shearling version might be good, as the shearling seems to make them look like bloated ticks. It's a bummer too, because I was looking for the warmth and comfort. They are a little narrow, too. They wrinkled funny on my feet. I still love Frye though.

I'm very disappointed in these; I bought in March and wore through the spring; when I got them out again in the fall, one whole side of one clog came apart while I was walking, the nails came out of the wholes and the glue wouldn't stick. I no longer had the packaging it came in so did not return to Zappos. I tried to fix with superglue but it would never stick. Don't think I'll purchase Frye shoes any more. I liked them when they were whole!

Reviews here led me to believe that this clog would be great, but it is profoundly awful. First, it is deeply uncomfortable, with a thick band at the rim that digs firmly into the top of my foot (I have a high instep). Second, it is made from ugly, really wrinkly/puckered/loose leather that in person looks completely different from the photos on this Web site and seems like a production mistake. Very disappointing! This is my first and last purchase of Frye.

Great looking clog, but crazy fit. Way too narrow for my high instep and at least a full size too long!

These clogs are wonderful. The quality is absoutely to die for. The fit is good. I usually wear Ugg, Born, and Ecco. I think this is better than any I have purchased as far as quality, and style. This shoe was worth every penny spent.

I love these shoes! I wanted a new pair of clogs so I tried these and a pair of Uggs. I stuck with the Frye pair because the heel was a little lower and didn't have the brand name front and center on the shoe. They were a little stiff the first few times I wore them but are now broken in. I have since gotten many compliments on the shoes.

These shoes are fantastic! As an elementary school teacher, I am on my feet all day every day (on hard tile floors!). Even the first time I wore them, these shoes were comfortable throughout an entire day of school. They feel very stable on your feet, unlike some platform clogs or even Danskos that seem to allow your ankle to turn over frequently. I also found that the bottoms are seriously non-skid, which is good for hard surfaces. I already have them in black and cognac, and may purchase another color. I thought they were pretty much true-to-size - maybe a tiny bit short.

Love the shearling lining and 70s look of the leather. However, I walked in these without socks a little to long the first time I wore them, and the top edge rubbed the skin off my foot. It is a little tight, but I expect it will soften up. The fit is certainly better than Dansko, which only comes in whole sizes. However, a little more arch support would be nice.

I ordered the vintage black and when I received them I thought they looked great. When I tried them on I was so disappointed that they have a fur like material on the inside that felt horribly itchy on my feet. For me clogs are summer wear and I could not imagine wearing these on a warm summer day. As well when looking at them on my feet I found the leather came up to high on the top of the foot, looked weird. It is too bad because they are beautiful clogs, I returned them the next day.

Wanted to love this clog, unfortunately it made my feet loudly fart when I walked in them. The foot bed also felt a bit narrow for a medium width. Sadly had to return.

I purchased above US 7½/38 which was not true to size. I returned those and replaced them with a size 8. The 7 was only ½" longer than then 7, which is a true 38. The arch painful and causes backache. I cannot wear these. I love the style and color.

My husband purchased these clogs in early April for me, and I have worn them every day with very few exceptions. I love them! It took a few wearings for them to break in but it wasn't bad at all. I chased my fresh dog through the woods, in the rain and they still look and feel wicked good! He does, too! In fact, I am wearing them now! I didn't even put on my slippers yet and my feet feel great!

These are true to size for me. My foot measures exactly a 6B and the 6 is perfect. Extremely comfortable foot bed right out of the box. I generally find most shoes nowadays to too narrow but not these. As soon as you put them on you can tell they are well made. If you have a high arch though, the top might be too tight. I wish the top came up a little higher on the foot. Nonetheless, I think when these stretch they will be like a second skin.

I bought these for my daughter for her birthday....she loves them and wears them daily. We ordered them in the dark brown the color is gorgeous. We buy a lot of Frye shoes and are just about always completely satisfied. I ordered them in 8.5 (my daughter's size) and to me they were a tad short. I wear a size 8 and they fit me perfectly - when I order a pair for myself I will order the 8.5. But my daughter couldn't bare to part w/them (for the 48 hours a return would have taken) so she wears them all the time and it is just fine. BTW. I love, love, love, love Zappos! They are the best on-line store I have ever shopped. I had a problem gave a call and found out that one of their tele-prompts options is for the joke of the day! Seriously they have a joke of the day. They handled my problem with grace and class and the joke wasn't half bad either....Frye and Zappos a match made in heaven and you just can't go wrong!

About the shoes. All I can say is that they fit small. I wear a 9 in the Frye Paige boots and ordered a 9 in these clogs and they were too small. On another note, these clogs have definitely been worn. They have scuff marks on the toe where it looks like someone kicked something. I've always had positive experiences with Zappos, but this didn't fit the bill. Back they go.
