My 15 year old son liked these. Found them comfortable and easy to put on. Will be wearing them to school and switching into his sneakers at school.

Bought these for my husband and he absolutely loves them. He says they're so comfortable and warm. As suggested by others, I purchased one size up and they fit perfectly. Husband usually wears an 11, so purchased a 12.

My son loves these boots. He says they are much lighter than most of the snow boots out there, and he can run around and play in them outside easily. The only drawback was that on his first pair, the zipper kept unzipping. Other than that, these are great boots!

My son loves these. He's a tween (wears small men's size boot) and says he really likes them, that they are not so heavy that he can't run around easily and play in the snow in them. They are easy on/off - a HUGE bonus. They don't keep the snow out 100% but I knew they wouldn't. A great boot.

You do not buy these boots to go hiking in the tundra, although I have worn them hiking back to my cabin in a foot of snow and single digit weather, no problem. These are an upgrade from the comparable Sorel for me, and I like them better. The zipper is high quality and stays put, something that was occasionally a problem with the Sorels. Great ankle support and plenty warm with the right socks. About the sizing: the last thing you want with a winter boot is snug fit around the foot! Snug around the ankle and above is a plus, but toes need to be able to wiggle and there needs to be some space to hold the heat. These are great urban everyday boots for nasty cold or slushy weather if it gets like that where you live. Walk the dog, go to the store, shovel snow and survive the winter in comfort. I recommend.

These fit snug and are very comfortable. Not much flex in the ankle when new but I'm sure they just need to be broken in. I wore these for opening day of deer-gun season in Wisconsin. I had great traction in the snow, leaves, and mud: and tracked none of it in the house or truck. I had the zipper on the left boot keep undoing itself at first, but that seems to have stopped. Also They are not as warm as I expected. Sitting in a deer stand all day made me regret the disposable foot warmers or heated socks(and it was only 30f).

I wear a 10 and ordered the 11. The fit was perfect. Great boot for running errands, shoveling snow, walking the dog, taking out the garbage. Very warm. I've been out for hours in them in single digit temperatures with moderate activity and my feet have been toasty. I would not recommend them for hiking because they don't fit as snug as you would want for trekking. I would recommend the Salomon Snowtrip or Tundra for trekking.

Very comfortable boot. Warm and good grip walking in snow or on wet grass and leaves in the woods. A great company and overall a great boot.

I liked these boots, they fit well and seemed warm. But the zippers kept unzipping, so had to return it. Ended up with the North Face Snowfuse.

I've always respected the Kamik brand for durability and warmth. Bought these for my teen son who walks home from school. Zipper broke on first pair. Awesome Zappos' customer service which promptly sent out a replacement pair. In two days the zipper broke on the replacement pair...not happy Kamik! What's up? I'll now have to spend more money for a different brand. Was really hoping these would work out.

Boots are on the stiff side. Zippers do not stay up. After walking 10 feet, they are completely unzipped. Have to wrap velcro strap around to prevent zipper from falling down. That is still faster than lacing a boot, which is why I kept them.

The boots are warm, comfortable and the treads rely grip the ice. Unfortunately, the zippers don't stay up. Furthermore, one of the zipper pulls broke off a few weeks.

vI really liked these boots, but the zips were faulty (they don't stay up) had them replaced. New ones same issue... but I really liked them - has a boot maker add a fix for the zip... 9 weeks later the zip broke. :( Zappos replaced no problem - I choose a different boot in the end. Zappos support amazing, these boots not so amazing... Shame because they were VERY comfortable. I would avoid these ones...

First for the good part: the boots are very comfortable and warm. They run small - I wear a standard 9 1/2 and I needed size 11. Now for the bad: I wore them for less than a month and both zippers broke. One zipper pull came off completely. The other zipper opens from the bend in the shoe. Thankfully Zappos took care of me. Thanks Zappos!

I ordered these boots for my husband two times (the first order was not from Zappos because Zappos was out of stock of this item before the holidays). Unfortunately, the first boots arrived defective (one boot completely missing a zipper and had defective stitching). We returned that pair of boots and ordered the same boots from Zappos. The second pair of boots was also defective. The first time my husband wore the boots, the zipper broke completely off the boot. My husband thought the boots felt comfortable, but after getting two clearly defective pairs of boots, we can only conclude there's an issue with the product manufacturing. Thanks to Zappos for great service on returns!

My 15 year old son wears a men's size 14. We ordered several different pairs boots for him to try on. He really liked these. He wore them for about 2 hours & the zipper broke. He was not hiking or power walking. We went to lunch and then he was at a class. The zipper popped open and wouldn't stay zipped. Very odd. Usually Kamiks are super sturdy. I'm hoping this is an aberration. Of course Zappos took them back. Unfortunately there were no other size 14 to exchange them for, so customer service helped me find a different style of Kamik boot to try and sent out the replacement as though it was an exchange. Gotta love Zappos customer service! They are the best!

These would be perfect except neither zipper would stay up. I need to start sorting my reviews by most recent vs most helpful. Hopefully Kamik will fix this problem.

I bought this boot for my 12 year old son. He loved how it fit and the comfort however I returned them after he wore them once. The zipper falls down when he walks. It's a shame because its a great boot.

The first pair had a defective zipper on only the right boot. I tried and tried It would lock or stay up. However I really liked this boot. It was comfortable and easy on and off. And so, I called Zappos and requested another pair sent to replace them. I asked if there was any other reports of defective zippers and none were reported. I received the replacements the very net day. But they had the exact same problem with that right boot zipper. Zappos was supposed to test them before sending but I guess they did not. All they had to do was zip them up fully and try to pull apart and they would have seen that the right one only, would not hold. To bad I really liked these boots. Kamik should consider a recall do to what is in my opinion a defective plastic zipper. Put a better quality zipper in Kamik............

It felt like there was no cushioning in the sole, and after a while my heels were starting to hurt. The worst was the zipper problem: after taking just a few steps, the zippers would start to open, making the boots clunky as well as uncomfortable. I wish I returned them because I actually feel bad about donating this pair to Goodwill as they are so bad.

Disappointed. I read many favorable reviews but my experience was nothing like those. I found this boot to be very uncomfortable. It has no arch support to speak of. Makes you feel completely flat-footed. It throttles you around the ankle - and my ankles are not wide. Returned them.

Why did I ignore the negative reviews? The zipper on the right boot goes down quite quickly. I do not enjoy having to rezip it every minute or so when I have got gloves on, my pants are over the boot and it is freezing out. Also, they do not have great support. On the bright side, the zipper on the left shoe stays up! I wish that I had returned them right away, which Zappos makes so easy. Thanks, Zappos! I recommend people look for different boots.

Do not purchase these. They are comfortable, warm boots. But the zippers do not stay up. I returned the first pair thinking that the zipper was defective. The replacement boots have the same issue. The zipper design requires a mechanism to keep the zipper up. Currently the zipper will fall to the full open position within 100 steps, so you stop and pull up the zipper very frequently or get snow in your boots. They could be great boots. Do not purchase these boots.

These were bought for 1 purpose and 1 purpose only: a somewhat cheap, dependable boot for snow storms. They fit fine, they looked fine. First snow day after getting them, I went to put them on and ripped the zipper off the left boot while zipping. The zipper appears to be of poor quality. Returned immediately.
