I took a chance in buying these since there weren't any reviews to rely on. The boots look awesome on, and they feel really warm (although I was wearing them around my house), but they are really stiff. It was awkward trying to walk normal (I couldn't bend my ankles) and the backs of the boot feel like wood board support! These Kamiks are pretty clunky. I don't know if I will be keeping them for this winter. Maybe they just need to be broken in, but they are so difficult to walk in! They do feel as if they fit true to size though. I wear size sevens and ordered five sevens.

The boots kept me feet warm while in AK at -18 however i wish i would have got a half size smaller cause they are defiantly heavy and a little floppy. if a half a size smaller i feel like i wouldn't feel like I'm taking extra effort to drag them around....love them just wish i would have had time to send them back and get another size before my trip

If I could have sent these back, I would have - but I wore them. The leather upper is soooo stiff and the boots really are too heavy for a snow boot because I feel like I am truly “trudging” through the snow. They are fine to walk in and I love the style, but they really aren’t comfortable.

These are beautiful and very funtional and awesome. But i have skinny feet and they were too big. They DID work when I added inserts and put on super thick socks. I'm going with the snowgem because they were a little more comfortable. But if I lived in a truly snowy place or was going on a trek, these would be my pick.

I'm 7½-8 so I got a size 8. It's perfect. This boot is made to be worn in VERY cold conditions, so they've allowed plenty of room for extra thick socks. Expecting the boot to perform at -50° without proper socks isn't realistic, but, if for whatever reason you don't plan on wearing thick socks you'll probably find it too roomy.

Having a teenage girl I had to be conscious of fashion but first order of business, they had to be highly functional. Local sporting good stores had sales that looked appealing but upon inspection of their "snow" boots either the soles were descent and the uppers were only water resistant or the boot was waterproof but the tread on the bottom was lacking. The stitching seemed questionable as well. These Kamik's are top notch! They are fully waterproof and the soles are a good quality rubber to maximum traction. The leather upper is easy to lace up, the boot is very comfortable, -58 temp rating keeps feet warm, and they passed the fashion test with my girl! Batta-boom, batta-bing...thanks Zappos!

I ordered these boots for after ski and because I live in Colorado and just need a great, sturdy, warm snow boot. These are fantastic! They are true to size if you want to add a thick sock, which I do. I ordered the ugg liner to go in these. Very, very happy with these boots - especially for the price.

I just received these boots yesterday and I could not be happier! They are the perfect winter boots for snowy New England. The fit is definitely true to size and they are not heavy at all. I cannot wait to wear them this winter!

I LOVE these boots. They are comfortable to walk in. They are very warm. They have good arch support. They are easy on and easy off and easy to tie. I followed other's advice and bought size 8 even though I wear 7.5 and I wear them with wool socks.

I tried a few different Kamik snow boots and I like this one the best. I tried a size 7 and 8 in a different Kamik style and the 8 fit better so I ordered a size 8 in this style...way to big so I ordered a 7 and it fit perfect (I usually wear size 7 or 71/2 in other boots and shoes). The boots were pretty stiff at first, especially the tan part around the ankle but with a little use, they have become comfortable. So far they seem to be waterproof which is the main reason I bought them. It also helps that these boots also look really cute and stylish!

I wear a size 9 shoe so I ordered a size 10 because I wanted to wear the boots with a thick sock. I absolutely love the fit w/the thick socks! I still have a little room but my feet don't feel like they're swimming in the boots. The boots also fit halfway up my calf which is perfect because I'm not planning on jumping into any deep snow piles. They're easy to tie and to take off. I commute to school through public transportation and so far my feet have been warm. Highly recommend!

I wore this snowshoeing with a pair of wool socks when it was 10 below and my feet were toasty warm. They are a bit stiff to walk in at first, but only took a few times of walking in them to break them in. They are stylish, comfortable and warm. I really appreciate the removable liner. If I do get snow down them, I can take out the liner and dry them easily. Highly recommend them!

Finally, a fashionable shoe that will keep my feet warm and dry in the snow and ice without sacrificing comfort.

I live in Philadelphia so the winters here can be pretty brutal and cold. I bought these specifically to keep my feet warm at work since our floors are concrete and it's gets freezing cold in the office! I'm a standard 9.5, so I ordered a size 10. They were pretty stiff right out of the box but over time I've worn them in. They look really cute with black leggings and they really keep my feet warm!

The boot had to be returned. I'm 5'2" and it hit way above mid calf and was stiff, so it tilted me forward from behind. Extremely awkward. I really wanted this boot :( just couldn't wear it. The boot itself also made my foot look much larger than a size 7, but its discomfort is why it went back.

I ordered my 12 year old daughter a size 9, which felt true to size, but she claims that the boots are too stiff, and hard to walk in. Instead of keeping expensive boots that she probably will not wear, I am going to return them and keep searching.

I just received these in the mail. I normally wear a 7.5 in women's so I ordered a size 8 and they fit perfectly, with just enough extra room for thick socks. They are a bit heavy but I expect that with a boot in this style, and like another user stated, they are very stiff. There's a thick leather strip on the back and it prevents your ankles from moving, it's very awkward and I hope this isn't an issue once they break in.

After trying Sorel's Caribou boots and being unable to get my foot into the boot, I ordered these boots and am very happy with them. I use them for going out to the barn to care for my horses. The one thing I have noticed is that my feet do not stay warm in them, and I usually only have them on for 20-30 minutes. Rated for -55... not so as far as I can see.

These boots run about a half size large. I re-ordered a size 7 and am trying them around the house to decide if I'm going to keep them.

These boots were too large on me. I usually wear a 9 but the 9 was too large. It worked well for the width, even felt a bit wider then usual boots. I didn't like them enough to try ordering them in one size smaller.
