This is a beautiful, well-made boot, however, the fit is very narrow. I normally wear a 12 medium and, unfortunately, the boot fits narrow. It's too bad the company does not make this boot in wide-width! I think if it were a bit wider, then it would make for a stylish and warm boot!

These are amazing! I have purchased La Canadienne boots before and they are worth the price. They are warm, comfortable and stylish. I spend a lot of time in the rain and snow in winter. With a pair of wool socks, my feet stay dry and warm. Love, love, love these!

This is luxurious footwear. Got a half-size smaller than usual. Still accommodates my heavier socks. Spend the money. You'll wear them forever!

Toe is a tad bulbous and the fit was a bit long. They don’t come in a 10.5…why? I kept them because I’m sure my toes will be happy with the bit of extra room and they have a beautiful sleek shaft.

These are fantastic boots- very comfortable, so sturdy and warm, and have received several compliments. I bought the Stone color and they go with everything. I own two other pairs of La Canadienne boots and had to take a half size smaller in these (typically a 7.5, took a 7), mostly because the toe box is wide. This brand almost never goes on sale, but Zappos did mark them down during Black Friday week.

For a winter boot, they're just roomy enough for a heavy sock. I live in a cold city and have worn my other La Canadienne boots daily, for work and play, for years. I can wear them with tights and a dress and feel pretty. The Camilla is a step up in style because they're fitted at the ankle. Too, they're not heavy, I'm not clonking around. All day, all night boot for winter.

This is my second pair of La Canadienne Camilla’s I have purchased from Zappos. My first pair lasted over 5 years and actually still look good. I had corrective surgery on one foot which required me to start anew c any previous footwear. Hands down these are the best made and comfortable boots right out of the box I have ever had. They are an investment. If your wardrobe reflects style over seasonal fashion, La Canadienne is the brand for you. I wear a 7.5 to 8 and have high arched wide feet. I wear a 7.5 normal width in La Canadienne’s.

I had been trying to find a pair of black suede boots for a while and had tried (and returned) about 5 pairs. I initially passed over these because of cost, but when I tried these on, it was clear they were worth the money--great design (one buckle which gives a nod to gladiator style but won't date quickly; nice heel/platform combo which gives height as well as stability) and sturdy gripping soles. And waterproof, which is great for New England winters. I'll definitely choose this brand again.

These are my favorite boots. I wear them every day with pants or dresses. They are warm, immediately comfortable and true to size. They are amazing!

These boots are fantastic! First and foremost, they are comfortable; so much so that I wear them around the house after having them on all day. They are the most comfortable boots I own. Secondly, they are good looking and versatile. I mostly wear them with cuffed jeans, but they also look great tucked into leggings or with tights. The fact that they are waterproof and great in snowy weather is an extra bonus. They fit true to size. I am a 7.5 and can wear them with a thin cotton sock. You won't be disappointed with this purchase. A great choice for winter!

Excellent boot. Goes with any length jeans, narrow or boot cut. Warm, water proof, and slip proof. A real go to for everyday. Runs a little big.

I ordered multiple boots. I have some challenges with my feet. I need shoes that have good arch support and cushioning in the footbed, as well as a wider width. These boots are gorgeous. They have good length and toe box with an easy on/off zipper entry. The sole is sturdy but there is no cushioning or arch support. These appear to be of average width but they are too narrow for me. Sadly, I had to return. (These boots are 29cm L x 10cm W)

Yes the stone oiled suede is more taupe than brown. Beautiful color. Nice wide toe box (bunions). They are a little bulky at the top, which may be the deciding factor for me. Beautifully made shoe and quality certainly worth the price. I have other La Canadienne boots that I love. Was looking for a brownish one with more substantial rubber tread, zipper, and waterproof. Size 7.

These didn't work for my Right foot being a little wider.... My left foot and I were totally bummed. These were perfect in every other way and a larger size was not available. I love the look of the 7inch shaft height and that they snuggle the ankle::: very refined. I understand the reviews about the sole being a bit hard or unsupportive. However I think they mold to your foot a bit, at least my last pair did (similar style)...they became so comfy I wore them to smithereens. The camilla's felt like they had proper arch support to me. I was very surprised of the reviews to order a .5 size down. I could've used a .5 size up and I'm a pretty regular 7.5

I purchased TWO pair of La Canadienne this month in size 12, which is hard to find. I read every review to assist me with my decision and with all the great reviews here only one stated that these boots are TOO NARROW in the leg. I expected them to be perfect and they might have been if only I could get the zipper up all the way to the top. They are beautiful in the black suede. Unfortunately I am returning them. So disappointed. (I highly recommend the La Canadienne Claire.... so comfortable)

There is no beating La Canadienne for combining style, practicality, quality. Bought 2 pairs that looked like this about 10 years ago and walked them through NYC streets in all weather, to business and pleasure. This style is reminiscent of a biker boot with a nice taper at the ankle (but not confining). Looks great with a cuffed or shorter jean.

own several pairs of La Canadienne boots and love them for their ability to get me through the worst winter weather. These have good looks and waterproofing to recommend them, and are beautifully made - they would last a long time. However, the sole seems slippery despite the lugs. I have another pair from a different company with these same soles, and they provide no traction on slippery pavement. Given the price of these boots, I was not willing to test them on ice and snow, and so sent them back. They also have no arch support. I ended up with Uggs Madison instead and couldn't be happier with my selection. I love how easy it is to make returns and order the right shoe or boot with Zappos.

I have two pair of La Canadienne boots, which I really like. These look good and are well made. I have thin ankles and surprizingly, could barely get them zipped up. Unfortunately they will be returend.

these are fabulous!! elegant and utilitarian at the same time, very comfortable right out of the box, ordered my usual size. perfect shaft height of 7 1/2" and fits nicely to leg so there is no gap to catch on pant legs or dress hems. Have been searching for years since my last pair of la canadienne's (finley) bit the dust, the sole just disintegrated one day, and cobbler said they can't be repaired because of construction. the sole of these is great, sewed to uppers and lots of traction. made in Italy. dark brown suede color is beautiful. love them

Fantastic water proof, chic booties. Ideal for fall/winter weather in New England.

So far so good. I've had many pairs of La Canadienne boots in the past, most of which get rave reviews from me. I have a M to very slightly wide foot. These are perfect and very comfortable in that range, can be worn with a thicker sock. If you have thicker ankles, it could be more challenging. I was unhappy that the chocolate brown was out of stock. I ordered the Stone color instead and am pleasantly surprised. It's a lighter brown and often reads like an olive color.

Lovely boots but, unfortunately, run small. I ordered them because the reviews and the description were saying that they run big, but it was just the opposite.

La Canadienne is one of my favorite brands. The quality, style and fit are all excelent.

La Canadienne boots are the best - comfortable, weather resistant, great quality. I love them!!

Everything was great, but I got these for a friend who didn't like the low heel and rounded toe.
