I am a bit surprised by some of the reviews here - not because they are not glowing, but because I have had bad experiences with my past two Privo purchases due to inconsistent sizing issues. I bought two pair of the same shoe in the exact same size and one pair was a half and inch longer than the other. The problems being mentioned would be typical problems I would encounter with this shoe. But I like these a lot. My feet are on the wider side of medium and I have a really high instep, but these are comfortable, and I am able to wear them all day. I admit that the first couple of times I wore them I had a difficult time getting my foot into the shoe, but now it is much easier, and once they are on they feel great! I will say that the quality of Privos has gone downhill in the last couple of years, but every now and then I find a keeper.

I have a pair of Privo clogs that are wonderful, so I thought these would be great too. Unfortunately, the toe-box was way too narrow and the heel too loose.

Very nice, waterproof shoes, although a little narrow. My second toe is a little long, so I had to order 1/2 size above my usual 8 1/2.

These are nice, but when I tried them on with my winter socks, my usual size 10 was too tight, even though I ordered a wide, so I had to return them.

I love the look and the fact that these are waterproof, but they were big in the heel and tight in the front, also very uncomfortable inside. These are going back.

This shoe looks and feels great, but it took a shoehorn and 10 minute struggle to get it on; so, it's going back. I hope Privo figures out that most feet have arches and, consequently insteps before next winter. Same problem with 3 boot styles.

I purchased this shoe in a women's wide and it is definitely NOT a wide. I love the look of the shoe, but it is too narrow in the toe area for me. :(

I was looking for a shoe that I could wear outside in the winter and these fit the bill. The fit is a little odd. The toe of the shoe goes up more that I had expected (although that is visible in the photo). I think that's what makes it seem narrower than others. That's okay with me because usually shoes are a little wide for me. They're not a quick slip-on. It takes a little effort to get them on, but once on they're comfortable for the whole day.

Like the look of the shoe, but it has a wide heel and my foot slips out. Toe box is short and that bothered my toes.

Great looking shoes; even my boyfriend complemented me. Unfortunately, they are incredibly narrow - and after walking for a few hours, every part of my feet cried out in pain. I don't have wide feet at all, so upon trying them on I thought they would be fine. But after a few errands around the city, the sides of my toes were throbbing. Even my heels hurt, and the bottom of my feet did too. I had to keep slipping them off whenever I had a moment. It is too bad, because I really wanted them to work.

Looked good but way smaller than typical. I have worn Privo/Clarks shoes and am a true 8. I read the review and ordered both 8 and 8 1/2. Even the 8 1/2 was small in the toe box. Too bad. :(

These are comfortable, but the wide isn't as wide as it should be. Also, the toe of the shoe curls up, and I feel like an elf! Overall, okay, but I wouldn't buy them again.

I\'ve had several pairs of Privos and my only regret has been that I didn\'t order multiple pairs since they\'ve discontinued the ones I loved. Unfortunately this style is very uncomfortable around the ankle. The black seal around the opening is very very tight and high enough to hit the bottom of the ankle bone when I walk. I don\'t really need the waterproof feature so I\'m going to return these and try a different style. Very sporty looking though.

Privo definitely is experiencing a decline in quality. This is my 5th pair of Privos over the past 6 years and only recently have I had problems with fit. The elastic does nothing to help one get in/out of the shoe. It's pretty useless. These shoes run very narrow and are very stiff. Ordered both 8 M (normal size) and 8.5 Wide - still too narrow, to the point of being painful after a 30 minute test-drive indoors. Returned them both. Too bad - the waterproof finish is a great feature. They just need to apply it to a shoe that fits.

I was so excited when I found this shoe. I originally bought the 11, which is my normal size. It was incredibly tight. I then ordered the 11W. They fit, but there is something weird about the construction that made the shoe very uncomfortable. Perhaps they would feel better over time, but I don't believe in wearing uncomfortable shoes that have to be "broken in." Too bad, because they are super cute!

These shoes are super cute, and exactly what I was looking for. Sadly, they run really narrow in the toe. I do not normally wear a wide shoe, but I returned the regular width in exchange for the wide. The wide is bigger in the heel but still too narrow in the toe. The velcro strap does not really make the shoe fit or make it easier to get on either. I've had them a month and only worn them once. Sadly I will be returning these shoes.

These are extremely uncomfortable, and are definitely not wide. They look cool, but as someone with wide feet, I wouldn't recommend them to others of the same. Disappointed because Clarks has been to width each time I've ordered it. I'll avoid Privo in the future.

I love the look of the shoe! Got them to wear in NYC! Sad to say I should have returned them immediately though! Way too narrow of a fit. I have tried to wear them twice now and they are very uncomfortable due to the toe width. These shoes never saw the Christmas lights in NYC!

This is a cute shoe but had to return it. I ordered the Wide width and it was not wide at all. I was very disappointed.

Way too narrow, but loved the style. Tried a 1/2 size larger but it was still too narrow.

I like the style of this boot so well. But there is hardly any arch support and the shoe isn't very supple so it was hard for me to walk in it. I'm disappointed because I really like the boot.

These shoes were PHENOMENALLY uncomfortable! It feels like walking in a cardboard box (albeit one molded to your foot :- ). One star overall because if it's not comfortable, no matter how handsome, I don't want it.

Just received these a couple days ago. They looked great. Problem: Couldn't even get them on my feet. This is a wide? Back they go!

Good idea, bad shoe. I ordered this shoe because of the style and they were waterproof. I couldn't even get them on my feet they were so small. Not a shoe for a foot with a high instep.

These shoes are very narrow and sized very small. I normally wear a 7½ and those were too tight. I reordered a size 8 and those were too tight and narrow also.
