I have this skirt in black and in white and at the risk of sounding like an echo from the other reviewers I truly love this skirt. It is the absolute best skirt I have ever owned. I have no joke at least 50 skirts in my closet, and these two skirts are hands down my favorite skirts. You may wonder why...simply because they make my shape look fabulous! No time at the gym needed just wonderful pleats that hide all imperfections. This skirt does run generous. For reference I am 5'8", I weigh 161 and I usually wear a 10 or 12 in fitted skirts. (I dress modestly, nothing skintight.) I have an hourglass shape and I followed the others advice and ordered a smaller size. The medium fits perfectly. You will need a slip with the white skirt.

This is a beautiful skirt if you are tall. I had to send it back. Don't get me wrong, it would be right if I was not 5'2". There is no way someone short could wear this even with heels (there is entirely too much material). If you are taller, I say go for it. A great skirt (and yes, 5 stars for comfy, as I am sure it is)!

This is a great basic piece! The skirt has some detailing so that you don't need to wear something underneath for smoothing such as a Spanx etc. I bought this for myself, then had to order it for my sister who feel in love with it when I wore it. Later my daughter asked me to order it for her for a birthday gift! It's also short enough to wear with flats so it's more casual. Looks great with a jean jacket and plan white tank!

I love this skirt. It is very versatile and comfortable, and basically I want to wear it every day! It goes with everything and super stylish. I want more of these skirts, in different colors!

I love this skirt! I have the cotton diagonal too, but this jersey fabric is beautiful! It fits and drapes nicely. I am 5'4" and am able to adjust length depending on shoe. Love Zappos, ordered Sunday PM. Monday was a Holiday and I got it today! I tell everyone about Zappos and the selection of XCVI!

This skirt does run large and also very long (and it can't be hemmed up). I thought the ruching would have a body-hugging effect but even in the right size, it hangs straight. Fabric is incredibly soft.

I usually do not write reviews but this skirt merits the effort! It is flattering, comfortable, fashionable and now an essential wardrobe piece! I would like to believe that I really am the size I ordered but the truth is these sizes run really big. I wish this came in other colors, I would get them! The shorter version is also great. They are worth the dough!

It is a very beautiful skirt, clinging to the body in all the right places. I had tried the Peasant Skirt from the same company, but the fabric seemed too stiff (it stuck out in some wrong places). This one has the right fabric (softer) and creates a stunning silhouette. The length is just right for me (I am 5'7"), but it does run small. I am usually a Medium (8-10) for skirts/pants, but Small fits perfectly.

I absolutely love this skirt! It is so feminine and comfortable I don't know how I could get along without it. You can dress it up or wear a tee top and flip flops with it. The fabric is great and feels really soft. The sizing is pretty true to size if anything a little on the larger size. I am normally a 6-8 and the small fits perfect.

I love the look and feel of this skirt…Got so many compliments. It's light and flowy, and it is opaque enough to not have to wear a slip. Nice and long, too, and I'm 5'7". I just ordered it in black!

I have been shopping at Zappos forever, and have never had a bad experience, and everything I have ordered has always been exactly as described. I love this skirt! It's fun, dressy, but casual too! Definitely recommend.

This looks amazing on and so comfortable! I get comments on how great this looks and everyone wants to know where I got it. The material is soft too. Of course with this brand it runs a little big. I love this brand!

This skirt fits fabulously! Great for skinny days, great for not so skinny days as it really flatters the belly area and hips. It drapes so well due to the Cotton and Model fabric. I bought it in black and it is not see through at all. Can be worn all throughout the year, casual or dressy. Would recommend highly!

Fun skirt----lots of compliments. Comfortable. I'm tall its long. Washes well, think it will travel well too! Go for it! Great price. For quality and unique look!

Although it was expensive, I love this skirt! Mine's white. Beautiful and romantic looking. Attention-getting! Got so many compliments when I wore it. I thought since it was made of jersey that it would look cheesy and cheap, but it does not have the appearance of something cheap like a tee-shirt. The ruffles make you look longer and thinner, and the broad waistband is brilliant for hiding tummy bulge! I should probably wear it with a slip, but I don't think you can even see through it. I run it through the handwash cycle and always line dry, and it washes fabulously. I am only 5'1" and I am surprised I didn't have to hem it. I don't know where the larger sizes might fall on a taller person, but in my opinion, it would look cute falling just above the ankles. Maybe even more romantic or Greek goddess looking that way, showcasing some good sandals or even fancy flip-flops. And as always, Zappos had this skirt at my door before I could blink! Kind of regretting this review now, because I don't want anyone to copy me! (:

Love, love, love this skirt. The fabric is soft, which makes it very comfortable and perfect for airline trips. Runs big; I usually wear a medium and had to get a small.

What a fabulous skirt. It's going to be a favorite until I wear it out completely. I don't understand prior reviews that say the skirt runs too large and is too long. I'm a slender 5'3", and bought a small. I couldn't ask for a better fit, and the length is just right. I don't understand why it's called a "peasant skirt," as I consider it more urban casual chic. So comfortable, and so flattering. Love it. I'd like to see it in some more colors. I got the jersey rather than the cotton version, and am glad I did. My guess is that the latter is even more comfortable than the former.

I have really enjoyed this skirt. I have received compliments. It has a unique style. Was bummed when I felt it had to have a slip underneath; makes it hotter!

I bought the white and the black jersey skirts. They are comfortable and flattering. The XS sizing was just right for me, the skirt is to the floor. My one complaint is that the white skirt is completely see-through. My husband could read the new product tag, the one you cut off, on my bum through the skirt. That might be OK in southern California but I live in a muslim country. I'll have to get a slip before I can wear it.

Like wearing a bouncy house. I'm 5'6 with a 32 inch inseam and it's on the long side, but goes great with my Dansko clogs! Would work well for a woman who wants full coverage in her skirt without a lot of bulk.

This skirt is NOT worth the cost! The material is like a cheap t-shirt/cotton blend, very flimsy, and the black was very faded and ashy looking. The seams also were crooked and didn't seem to 'line up'. I had high hopes for this skirt based on all the awesome reviews, but I was not satisfied.

I bought this skirt to travel in Israel. It was packable, comfortable and stylish all at the same time!

This is a really cute skirt, very flattering and comfortable. I ordered the black in small, based on reviews to size down and it worked perfectly, as I consider myself medium or women’s 6 in most things that run true to size. The material is a soft jersey, t-shirt like material. You will not need a slip under the black. You can certainly dress it up or down. Love it!
