I love this skirt! It does run big like the other reviews say. This skirt is very cute and very flattering. I have not seen others like it. It is very unique! It is also very comfortable. The shipping was very fast. I received it in like 2 days. First time ordering from you Zappos and I'm very impressed. I will for sure be ordering again! I am going to buy the other colors in this skirt because I love it so much!

This skirt is a must have in anyone's closet! Extremely comfortable and fits well but does run VERY big! I am 5'6 and size 8. I ordered a size small because of all the reviews and actually could have even gone a XS!

This is a really nice skirt that is very flattering for curvy girls. Order at least two skirts in your size. I did this and each one had a different length. I kept the one that flattered me the most. The seaming on this skirt is very delicate. If you pull too hard getting it on or off, it will rip. I learned this by mistake. I am still keeping the skirt though. I just need to be more careful when I put it on or take it off.

Ladies please do your self the favor and buy this skirt. This is the best skirt that I own. I have to be careful of the skirts that I wear because of the shape of my body. It is very figure flattering. I usually wear a 12, I bought the size 8, and honestly, I could have gone for an even lower size. It stretches too.

First of all, I am not a skirt girl. I own one skirt and rarely wear it. But, I decided this summer I wanted to branch out and try new things. I bought 3 XCVI skirts to "interview" them for my new life. This one won out. The fabric is light and stretchy so although it looks bulky in the pictures, it isn't. I normally wear Small in XCVI--Medium in other brands. In this skirt the XS was perfect. You can even roll it up at the top to shorten it and not feel any bulk. So far, love it. I also tried the Jersey peasant skirt but didn't like it for me-- despite all the 5 star reviews. The other one I tried is no longer available. It was the High Tea poplin skirt.

Great skirts! But they definitely run large. I am 6ft tall and usually wear a Large in skirts or 12 in pants. The Medium in this skirt fit perfectly.

Wow, love this skirt! Pay attention to what the other reviewers are saying and order a size down. I talked myself into ordering my usual size and ended up having to exchange it for the smaller size. It's so cute on, very flattering!

This skirt is both comfortable and flattering with the added bonus of being truly wash and wear. Keep in mind that it runs big...I'm a solid medium and finally, after a few returns and reorders, realized with this brand I'm an extra small (another bonus I suppose). Great skirt, just buy a couple sizes smaller.

I should have read the reviews more carefully before ordering! This skirt runs crazy big! I'm a medium (8-10) and the medium is gigantic. There's way too much material. I'm not even going to bother trying the XS.

Cute, but waist is not so comfy. Wish it didn't have a drawstring waist. My waist is on the smaller side, do I have to cinch it pretty tight. It bunches up weird...and I'm 5'8" and find it a little on the long side unless I pull it up higher on the waist. (About knee-length if I pull the waist up to my belly button.) Not sure if I'll keep this skirt, or perhaps try to have it altered to a different type of waist closure. Probably not worth the high price of this skirt.

I like the look of this skirt, but it's not as sturdy as an older one I have from the same brand. The fabric is a little thin, and the stitches on the shirring snap easily if you pull on them (my mistake).

XCVI is strange when it comes to size. I always have to order 2 sizes and then reorder at least twice to get the right thing. I have several similar skirts from XCVI, all small. This skirt I ordered in Sm and it felt like size 6 on a larger side. I reordered XSM. Surprise! When I got this skirt in xsm it felt exactly the same. In fact, it was the same (I kept size SM too to compare). Even better: XSM was also about an inch longer! Now I will try to order same skirt in both XSm and SM. The only reason XCVI product is so damn expensive is probably because people have to return their items over and over again. So disappointing! Had same issue with XCVI pants - had to return 4 times and almost gave up - same size pants were at least an inch shorter.

After falling in love with the first one I purchased (in "mood indigo" medium grey only two weeks ago) I came back for the white on sale. While the stitching details and sizing are identical the fabric quality is not. First, the white is really, really see through, and I was trying it on in a poorly lit room at night. I am not talking underwear issues -- you could see the exact color of my fair skinned peach legs vividly through it as well. I wear a lot of white bottoms and have not come across anything quite like this before. Second, the white fabric felt cheap, more like a muslin, while the grey I purchased from Zappos was luxurious, soft, thick high quality cotton. I am so glad I tried another color first as I would have completely dismissed what is a fabulous skirt.

I am sad that I have to return this item but it just didn't work for me. Like the other reviews said, this skirt runs really large! Also, my body shape wasn't flattered at all by the drawstring waist style it just made me look big and lumpy where I really didn't need to look big and lumpy. :) I am about 5'3", and wear a size 6-8. I also have an hourglass figure, which I think doesn't work with this style. I think this would work well for someone a bit taller with less of a curvy figure but be sure to order at least one size down form what you normally wear.

I really like the look of this skirt, both online and in person. However, be warned that the fabric is extraordinarily lightweight. The first time that I put the skirt on and pulled the drawstrings to tighten, the fabric tore about 4 inches. I'm incredibly disappointed that I didn't even get to wear it once.

Am 5'4" & 110 lbs. Bought a small and it was huge. Don't think even an x/s would fit. Runs very large.

I recently ordered this skirt because I have a similar skirt that has that bunched up look and love it. Unfortunately, that skirt is too short to wear to work. Anyway, I am around size 4-6 generally and did order the extra small. The other reviews are right about that--there ain't nothing extra small about it. X-small could easily be worn by a size 6 woman. Ultimately I returned the skirt because i just didn't like the fit. If you are a smaller sized woman with not so much going on in the curve department, you will not like this skirt. It was very shapeless on me and made me look like I had no butt. Which I do, it’s just small.

Cute skirt, not very durable. I got this in January and it is already falling apart. There is a hole near the hem and the stitching is falling apart about half-way down the skirt. I've worn it maybe 6 times. That is unacceptable for a skirt of this price.

I got this skirt in white, and it is transparent. Stick with dark colors, or be prepared to wear a slip. Yikes!

I am returning this skirt. To pull the waist in to fit with the ties makes the skirt bunch up and look bulky. Also the skirt is a little too long.

It took me just a bit to get used to this skirt. It has a gather string in the front which I didn't favor at first but tried it on a couple of times and it's kind of stretchy, didn't shrink, reshapes easy, and looks goods and feels great on. Amazing brand, just discovered it, so comfortable and stylish all at once!
