I just received these Earth boots and they feel so comfortable! They fit over my skinny jeans and look great! I just waterproofed them and will wear them asap. They arrived in a slouchy biodegradable bag within a box, but I wish they had stuffing support throughout the entire boot when they arrived. Overall five star boots for someone with a bad back, knee and hip.

I love the way these boots look. The gray is perfect & super versatile for leggings, bare legs, skinny jeans, etc, & the suede is gorgeous! Also, I love the fact that even though they have that slightly slouchy look, they actually stay up! The last slouchy boots I got were great...except that after walking in them for about 3 minutes the shaft always fell down & pooled at the mid-calves. These are great because they stay up perfectly, but if you want, you could still push them down if you want to get that scrunched look. The only thing I don't love about these boots is the arch support (which is a great thing for most!). I have super flat feet, and since these have such a prominent arch, it hurts a little after walking long distances. It's not too bad though after getting used to the feel, so don't let that scare you away. (I actually got mine on Amazon because Zappos did not have the grey in my size.

These shoes are very cute. They look chunkier on-line, but really nice in person. My only complaint is the shaft is a bit snug, I take a size 8 and the footbed is true to size for me, but maybe the leather just has to stretch out a bit (they are brand new). I hope they fit over jeans because they are a little too slouchy for under. Great buy for those with lots of skinny jeans and who wear tights often. Oh and super fast shipping with standard, free ship option - great service Zappos!

Very cute and well constructed. The leather was beautiful color and very soft and pliable. I was not so comfortable with the negative heel so sent them back for that reason.

I love these boots! I have wide feet, bunions and everything, and I live in NYC so I do a lot of walking, and these boots are working out great. They run a little big.

These are great boots. They do slouch, so if that isn't what you're interested in, they are not for you. The bottoms are a bit heavy, and overall they are a bit casual, but I love 'em.

I had to stretch out the toe box a bit with the wooden stretchers I got at target, but now they are so comfortable! And they make me feel trendy even though they don't have spike heels and are simultaneously stretching out my heel where I have terrible foot pain.

Love these boots. The comment about "toe" walking and "heel" walking is confusing! I walk heel first and wear only Kelso Earth shoes. Any other shoe promotes back pain.

Love these boots! I'm love my boots but was looking for an everyday boot that is a more mature than my chunky shearling boots. These fit the bill perfectly! I have plenty of foot problems and these are comfortable, supportive, stylish and they're supposed to burn calories. Could you ever ask for more? I'm an average 5'8" and a size 12. They fit me great around the calf allowing the option of pulling up to knee or slouching down to mid calf. Either way - I can't get enough! Literally...I have the black and am now ordering the beaver brown!

Some people said this ran small, so I initially got a 8.5 instead of 8, which is my usual size. I definitely needed the 8 with socks with normal to dress-sock thickness (my foot is about 9.75 in. long). The stiff foot form around the heel really helps it stay in place, and it's just right around the knuckles of my toes, and my big toe still has room to move around. It is very comfy, and if you tussle the leather from the original flap it comes with (along the leg), it will have a tendency to slump a bit when you're wearing it, but if you don't, they stay up well. Very comfortable, looks amazing with dresses, a little too big to wear under jeans. Great for ladies with athletic calves who don't enjoy tighter/zip-up boots.

These boots are the best! This is the 3rd pair I have bought. They are pretty roomy in my regular size. Perfect for wearing thicker socks with. These look great and I wish Earth offered more styles like this because I love the way the soles feel. A lot of Earth brand shoes and boots aren't exactly stylish or flattering, but these are.

I own these in the grey and the brownish color. I have been wearing them for six or seven months. I absolutley love them. They are so comfortable, and cute. I could walk in them for miles (no kidding). I just bought them in black because I need them in black. I cannot wait until they get here, which will be in no time! Get them, you will not be sorry.

I truly love this boot. I couldn't believe all that leather for the price! However, the first pair had a very slight difference in the leathers used for each tall calf. This was not apparent until I tired them on and observed a difference in slouchy-ness of the boots. Even though I know that leather will look different with time, I wanted the boots to at least start out with the same characteristics. The second pair arrived immediately, and the boots were evenly slouchy, which was not very slouchy at all! I enjoy the look - they are unusual without being so way out that they lose their versatility.

I have a prior review on these boots; however, I would like to add something. When I got them the lining was twisted and stuck to the suede. I pulled them apart and after 6 times of wearing them pulling them on caused a rip on the side of the boot. I called Zappos and surprisingly I was able to exchange them. I also got the biggest size, 12. I started with a 10, exchanged for an 11 and now a 12. I am hoping that these will not be too big as far as the fit goes. Somehow I doubt they will. I wish they would come in half sizes in the bigger sizes or even a wider width would certainly help.

There's a very good reason these comfy boots are named "Swank". You're gonna swagger, you're gonna lithely sway your way in supple flexibility all day long. The ultimate kick around boot you won't want to take off!

Felt comfortable after the first 5 minutes, but the shaft is so slouchy and soft I don't think they'll stay up, so I'm returning them.

I love these boots. I definitely had to get a half-size smaller, as they run big. But Zappos is always so awesome about that stuff. They are slouchy and funky and comfortable. Awesome.

I have foot problems and wear orthotic inserts, so every shoe has to accommodate this. Quite comfortable right out of the box. Super soft suede and also good looking. Haven't worn Earth shoes since the '70s but I was really impressed with this boot.

These are the 2nd pair of Earth shoes I've purchased and they are great! Based on other reviews, I did buy up a half size and I did expect these to be slouchy (true, they are slouchier than the photo and the gathers are stitched in place). These are cute, comfortable, and adaptable for larger calves.

No kidding! These boots are very comfy and really do have great arch support. The leather is a heavy enough suede to last a while, yet the boots are not clunky. I am pleased with my purchase.

I really love these boots except for one major flaw--the shaft is so loose that they slide way down and pool out as if I'm wearing tires around my ankles. Since there is a built-in slouch in the design, you really don't need the boot to slouch down at all. I find the Kalso negative heel to be pretty comfortable as it takes pressure off the toes, which, for me is the problem area, and the balls. Also, with the roomy toe box, there's no toes squishing together. However, I think most of the negative heel shoes look quite awkward and clunky. This particular design pretty much avoids that and looks relatively sleek. If only the shaft would stand up. I should say, I do have somewhat thinner-than-average calves. Also, I usually wear skirts to keep cool, but probably if I tucked these into jeans they would stay up.

These boots are quite comfortable on me, having gone a half size down. And they are cute, especially in the gray. However, as a few others have said, they are extremely slouchy. And I wouldn't even mind slouchy if they were closer to the calf, but these are very roomy and fall in giant pools nearly to my ankles. I do have thin calves, so maybe this won't be a problem for some with more normal proportions.

Very cute boot! However, I found this boot narrow and stiff in the bend of the foot and toes, and lose fitting in the heal causing blisters. When I buy a pair of shoes I like to be able to wear them for long periods of time. Could not wear these for long! Ordered a size 8 the lenght was fine. I have average width feet (M). Hope this helps.
