I am very picky and these boots are exactly what I wanted. I have small feet and "athletic" calves, so I have trouble sometimes fitting into knee-high boots. The laces up the front of these boots made this no problem, since they enable you to make them as wide as you need! This also means that they fit great over skinny jeans, but also over regular jeans, too. And the laces add a nice touch to the overall look of the boot. The zipper up the side makes it easy to get the boots on and off quickly. The gussets in the front make it a bit of a snug fit, but I think all that gusseting is what keeps the snow out, so I don't mind. They are so so cute on (I've gotten lots of compliments on them) - a great alternative to the boring everywhere-you-look Ugg style. Also, I see a few people have written that these are not waterproof. I have no idea what they are talking about, because I have been tromping around in snow all the way up to my knees with no problems! Not only do they keep my feet and legs super warm, the water just beads off the top of them - they are waterproof. Love these boots - stylish and functional - what more could you ask for?

I bought these boots for harsh winter days in Michigan. They were real warm and the zip closure made quick off and on through airport security.

I live in Colorado and wanted stylish, functional black boots. These fit the bill completely. They are nice enough to wear with a dress or look great with jeans/leggings tucked in. I have large muscular calves and the fact that these have a zipper and the laces means I can adjust them perfectly and they fit with a variety of pants not just skinny-leg. They are comfortable, durable and have enough traction to navigate the ice when we get snow. I did read reviews and ordered up 1/2 size from 8.5 to 9 and the fit is perfect. Totally recommend this boot!

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend literally 4 days before Christmas. They were delivered in two days in perfect condition. She loves the boots, and I love Zappos.

These boots are exactly what I wanted! I am usually a 9.5-10 wide and I ordered a 10 wide. They are perfect. I can wear thick socks and leg warmers under these and I still have room to move around. The zipper and tie up laces really allow for this flexibility in space. They are super comfortable and stylish and I can wear them under work dress pants, or over leggings. Very versatile and warm and cozy!

I am so happy with my purchase! I was looking at a lot of other boots and decided on these and am very glad I did. They are nice and toasty with the recycled synthetic fully lined lining and they look great with jeans, or dressed up with a skirt. The waterproofing is really useful for the rainy winters where I live, and Timberland has put a section of leather behind the zipper that reaches to a bit above the ankles that adds so much to the shoe's waterproofness. These are great, well made shoes, I love everything about them.

Great boots. Keep me warm and very stylish. have received lots of compliments. comfortable too - much more so than Uggs. The laces really help tighten or loosen the boot.

I bought these boots just before a Christmas trip to Denmark. They were perfect! They are a really wonderful combination of form and function. Nice and warm (my toes weren't cold once!) but also fit nicely around jeans. They do run a little small, especially if you want to wear jeans or thick socks underneath, I recommend a half size up. I initially ordered the 8 1/2, and got them on alright, but I am so glad I got the 9's right before I left. These are my favorite boots, although they might be a little warm for San Francisco winter, but I'm saving them for east coast trips and Tahoe!

These boots are very comfortable and are awesome for keeping your feet really warm. They look great with leggings, skinny jeans, skirts and dresses. I love them, I'm considering getting them in another color.

These boots are amazing! This is my first New England winter, and so far so good. I went up to Maine to visit friends. It was 10° and snowing. We went on a horse drawn carriage ride, but my feet and legs were never cold! I followed the other reviews and bought the half size up in a wide that fits perfectly, with or without socks. I can wear thin wool socks and am totally comfortable. They are bulky, and more on the casual side, but tightening the laces helps and I think they are worth it. I will be wearing them to work this winter. Thank you, Zappos, and Timberland!

These boots are as cute as they look online. They are very comfortable and keep your feet toasty warm during the cold Colorado winter. I have been searching for the right pair for quite some time and now I finally found them! They are dressy when needed but not too much for a pair of jeans.

I bought these to have some stylish boots to wear during the cold winter months in North Dakota. Unfortunately, the weather has been so warm this winter and currently still no snow, so I have yet to put these boots to the test. I will say I have worn them several times and my feet get so warm I have had to take them off. I think that's a pretty good indicator of how warm they will be in below zero temps! The only downside I can see for these boots is that they run narrow in width. For me it isn't a problem because I have narrow feet so they fit perfectly. But for someone with a wider foot you may need to buy a size larger to get the width or hope they stretch out. I love these boot and highly recommend them!

I love these boots! They are perfect for the winter and they are cute and comfortable. They look great with skirts and pants and jeans. I like that the laces allow for occasional adjustments and the zipper allows me to easily put them on when I am in a hurry. I definitely recommend these boots. They are my favorite.

I was so excited to get these shoes that I could not take them off for a full week. They are stylish and warm, although they did feel a bit smaller then what I was use to and I am a 11 W. I received compliments every time I wore them I definitely love these shoes!

Love the boots, very comfortable. I usually wear 8-8.5m. Bought these in an 8 and they fit like a glove, can wear with thin socks and fleece lining makes them nice and warm. Easy on and off. The design is nice, does not make your foot look huge at all-like some winter boots do. Tahoe here I come!

I am spending the winter in Berlin and was looking for a tough, waterproof boot to wear. Cute was an added bonus. I have worn these boots three days a week for the last three weeks, and they are awesome. They keep my feet and legs warm and dry, and they are comfortable too. The arch support isn't great, but other then that they are practically perfect. Also, I have wide feet, so I ordered them in my normal size in a wide width and that worked.

Love these boots. They do run small and the wide is narrow. I ordered a full size larger and a wide and they still aren't real wide. But they sure are cute so I am keeping them.

These are great! Strangers stop me on the street to tell me they love my boots and they can't believe they're Timberlands! I can't either they're so stylish. I've worn them about 4 times for over 8 hours each time and they are comfy and supportive. I usually wear Merrells when I work (on my feet 14+ hours a day) and these seem almost as supportive. They're very warm and cozy. Haven't tried them out yet when it's really cold but I think they'll prove their worth again. The lace up part makes them adjustable so if you have skinny calves like me they fit great but if you have normal or bigger calves they'll probably work for you too. And the little pocket is so freakin' cool! Perfect for stashing cash, trinkets, or party favors.

I love these boots. They are warm, cozy and stylish. I got compliments on them almost every time I wore them. You can comfortably walk for miles in these boots. Just the thing to make you feel brave enough to face harsh winter weather.

Very comfortable & warm. Read other reviews stating that this boot was narrow, so I went with the 7W & it fits great. Zappos is the best & has the greatest customer service!

I have long shins and small calves. These boots fit beautifully! I love their warm and style. Haven't yet tried them in wet weather.
