As other reviews have noted, the heel width/grip/lack of grip in Jambu's are inconsistent. I was heartbroken because these shoes are SERIOUSLY comfortable and SERIOUSLY cute. They make your foot look small and have good arch support. I ordered a half size larger based on reviews, and the 8.5 size was perfect!

Jambu Cali is a super cute and very comfortable shoe given the heel height. I did have to go up a half-size and even though the shoe is comfortable for a day of sitting/standing/walking, I can't stand on hard surfaces (cement floors, hard tile floors) for more than a couple hours without feeling some foot fatigue. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the shoe comfort and style and am going to order another pair in brown.

Ordered my usual size and it was too short so I ordered a half size larger and it was too big. Love the style and footbed comfort. Really wish it would have fit.

Just didn't fit me. I love Jambu and J-41 shoes and I have several pair. As with all the sporty wedge styles, the footbed is dreamy, but, on this style, as other reviewers mentioned, my foot slipped forward and toes touch end of toebox and the heel had a sloppy fit on my foot. I usually wear 6 1/2 to 7. Tried the 7 first, then tried 7 1/2 just in case it made a difference but it still didn't work. The worst part is I really need a closed winter shoe and I want this brand, but all the Jambu closed styles appear to have the exact same construction so I expect they'd all fit the same. I still may try another style just to be sure.

Just got my Jambu Cali's in the mail and noticed that it does run at least a 1/2 size small. Sending back for the next size up and hope that they are not too big. Also, seems like they will need insoles as the footbed is hard.

Everyone needs to know this shoe runs short. So should order up a size, or at least 1/2 size.

The shoes are very cute; however, I ordered the size I always wear, 8.5, and I can't wear the shoes now because they are way too tight on my toes (my second toe is longer then my first). I tried to suffer through it but the pain was unbearable. Order a size up so yours don't have to sit in your closet unworn also!

I wanted to be in love, but I'm just in "like". I'm a comfort shoe fanatic, and wear only the best. Let's talk this shoe versus Dansko. I can be on my feet all day long and not even think about them when wearing Dansko's. Not so with this shoe. For me, no comparison. The Jambu pushes your foot more towards the toe so my toes feel squished, and not spread out. They're also less stable. As shoes go, with the cute factor, they're adorable. They'll make you few inches taller, and they look great with tights, dresses, jeans, etc.; however I would not want to be standing all day in these.

Unfortunately, like previous reviewers, I love the look of the shoe - but the sizing was off. I always wear an 8½, but it was too small - and the 9 slipped off my heel. I have other Jambu shoes and love them, but come to think of it, they're all mules.

These shoes are nice, though the padding on the foot bed and lining up top inside makes the shoe tighter than expected. The comfort level would be great if not so tight fitting. Unfortunately, they are going back.

Shoes are not very cushioned or comfortable. I liked the looks. Not functional.

I loved the look but the fit was a disaster! My normal size eight was a bit tight but I figured the elastic would relax after a bit of wear. Wrong! First trip out of the box resulted in horrific blisters. Second trip left my right heel screaming with pain that has continued for several weeks. Normally I am a huge Jambu fan but this pair did not live up to expectations. I've worn them so I won't be returning them but I definitely recommend a trial wear of several hours at home on the carpet to make sure they aren't going to cripple you.

My feet were killing me after wearing these a day. I worked a 10 hour trade show in a expo center that had concrete floors with thin carpet on top. My feet were screaming after six hours to let them out of this shoe. The heel area just hurts after awhile. They are attractive enough. I just wish I had a good go-to black and brown shoe. This is not going to be the one.

I used to wear Danskos but have fallen in love with Jambu! I can wear these to work or for casual. They give me height without hurting my feet. They look so much more feminine than Danskos without sacrificing comfort. the cushy insole is great and when I tried to go back to wear my Danskos I couldn't believe how hard they felt so I gave them all away! These shoes look more contemporary and updated without that "clunky" look. I wear them without socks all day and my feet are loving them! I usually wear a size 10 but had to order a whole size up to 11 in order to get the perfect fit. Makes me feel sorry for you gals who usually wear a size 11...they need to make them in a 12! I have high arches and find the arch support fantastic! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable clog with a heel and some pizazz!

Stylish, solid, comfortable...just bought my second pair, after wearing out the first after 2 years. (Nothing stopped functioning...they just looked really tired.) I have wide feet, and these work in M.

Needed a thick sole for a foot problem so chose these. I'm a solid 11 or 10.5, narrow in the heel and a M width in toe. These 11 mediums fit my narrow heel perfectly. But I tried 3 different styles of Jambus and all 11's are too short. Not even close, more like a 10. No more Jambus for me until they make size 12.

Bought these for a trip to London because I have two summer jambus and love them. I walked -- no joke -- 30 miles in these shoes, all over London. Not a rub, pinch, or ache. Despite the fact that they have a really high heel, they feel like sneakers. I love them. No, LOVE THEM. I wish they weren't quite so funky looking, it's just not my style, but despite that they are my go-to brown shoes. And they are as comfortable and more attractive than Danskos (of which I have several pair, too). They elongate legs and look really great with boot cut jeans. I just love these shoes and I love jambu. They got it right.

Love these! When I ordered them I was scared that they would look utilitarian. They do not! I've gotten compliments on them and I could wear them all day and all night. Great purchase!

These shoes have just been the best ever. I can walk to the train station, lately I have been standing at work for about 6 hours and walk back to the train station. I think that about sums it up!

I am on my 4th pair of this exact shoe. Need I say more?! If you travel, work on your feet, walk, or just want an awesome everyday shoe -- this is the one!

Goodbye Dansko!! I am on my feet up to 12 hours a day 5-6 days a week in a very busy salon and sneakers just dont make the style cut. These are so comfortable and stylish! I got 3 compliments on them the first day I wore them, which as we all know makes us feel like a million dollars! No break in period with these whatsoever. I ordered 8 different shoes from Zappos including Alegria (theyre ok if you're wearing scrubs since they will mostly hide the clown feet you'll have when you put them on) Patagonia clogs ( very nice, comfortable and I may buy them eventually but I chose the jambu instead) Dansko (2 new styles very cute but very hard, especially when you slip these babies on before or afterward you'll certainly feel the difference!) im back for another pair in another color!

I was a bit skeptical, but these shoes ended up being very comfortable. I wore them for 12+ hours out of the box, and they were just fine. Lots of rubber on the bottom of the shoe, so it helps with comfort.

I ordered these at 11:00 in the morning and received them the next by 12:00 with free shipping. Very comfortable shoes. They run small so I had to order a 1/2 size larger than normal shoe size. I like them better than Dansko. Very happy customer!

I purchased the Cali Jambu. I had small issue with getting the right size. I normally wear an 8 to 8 ½ shoe or boot, but ended up having to order a 9 These are the only shoes that I have found that I can wear that look good and feel incredible. My 4th and little toes on my left foot are hammertoes and need surgery. The design of the Cali has a wide toe box and is very soft and cushioned. I have had lots of compliments on them! As I look at the different style that Jambu has to offer, I don’t think there is one shoe that would not work for me.

With my wide foot, high instep, and narrow heel it is a real challenge to find shoes that fit my feet and feel good. I was skeptical about Jambu since they are not offered in wide sizes. Surprise! These are super comfortable right out of the box and I can walk and walk and walk. Plenty of room in the toe box and the top of my foot is not squeezed like in some clogs. I also like the funky look. They don't feel tall, but they work perfectly with jeans that come in those longer lengths. Stylish and really comfy. I ordered 1/2 size up based on other reviews, but they were too tight and I returned them for a full size larger than my usual size. Now they're perfect.
