My only dislike is the consistent up keep of the shoe and the products for the maintenance of the shoe is extremely small and expensive

Are my go to winter footwear for my toddler's they just run small so you definitely need to order a full size up. If you go true to size your kid's feet will not even fit in the boot.

This is my second purchase of this boot 2 in black leather one in wheat. The boots run a full size too small so this time I went up a full size. Fits well now, I wouldn't buy wheat colors for toddler's. They are just too hard on shoes so in a suede design they will get messed up after one wear. I recommend sticking to a leather boot.

Bought these for my almost-8-year-old to wear hiking with his granddad, but got their first use going to church on a snowy/slushy night. They handled the weather just fine and they look great (got the wheat/wheat color). My son loves them. They fit true to size and, so far, he says they are comfortable. Time will tell how they hold up, but they seem very well constructed. I've had Timberlands that I've used for winter weather for at least 5 years now, so I'm pretty confident that these will still be going strong long after he outgrows them. As always, the service with Zappos was fantastic.
