This is a fabulous shoe. I bought it about a year ago for a walking trip in Italy. It has a wide box, which I need and gave me fabulous support while light and flexible. I did give it a break-in for about 60 days before the trip; some reviewers said it doesn't need a break-in; I found it was important to do. I wore it with a heavy sock because I greatly fear blisters -- never a problem.

The most supportive, comfortable shoes I have ever owned. This is my third pair, but this time, I bought the one with Gore-Tex to wear in Thailand during the rainy season. Only a little more than the plain model. I wish they offered a little more color choices, but I love this gray-blue one.

These are terrific, comfortable shoes. I bought them immediately before heading out on a month of fieldwork, where I was in and out of bogs, mountains, and forests. They held up wonderfully and required no breaking in. One concern: though waterproof, they are pretty short (which I overall really like), so I've swamped them twice. When that happens, they take forever to dry. When in seriously wet conditions, I take care to wear gaiters now.

Love these shoes, the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Merrell shoes are the most comfortable shoes. Merrell's are all my husband will wear. They were so comfortable right out of the box, no break in time needed. I bought these and immediately went out and bought another pair, just in case they stopped making them. Now I am getting ready to buy another pair in a different color, once I decide which color I like best. I would highly recommend these shoes. I bought my usual size 8.5, but I don't normally wear thick socks. If you plan to wear thick socks I would go up half a size in these. Please don't ever stop making this shoe.

This shoe is everything you would expect from Merrell. It was very comfy for trail walks with the Girl Scouts. And it is a good looking shoe - not clunky or huge looking.

Awesome shoes! They are extremely comfortable, have great traction and keep your feet dry even in extremely wet conditions. I'm usually an 8.5 but the 9 fit perfectly.

Very comfortable and very well constructed. True to size. I am on my feet a good deal of time at work and I also walk a lot. This shoe is perfectly suited for both. I would highly recommend this product. The only thing I would change would be to add additional arch support.

I love these shoes. They were instantly comfortable from the moment I put them on. I have had several pairs of Merrell with Gore-Tex and this last pair was the best. They fit true to size but was happier with the wide width this time. Great Zappos service as usual.

I love this shoe! I've never tried Merrell before (only sandals). They are like gloves for my feet! I was afraid to switch from my usual brand, but I like these so much better and I'm glad I gave them a try. I did that because I knew shipping was free both ways! No more twisted ankles. When I put these shoes on the first day they arrived they felt great. Today I wore them at work for 9 hours, they still felt great when I arrived home. I wear a size 8; these feel true to size.

I love these shoes! They are super cute and very durable. I can't wait to wear them on a hike. I won't have to worry about snow/rain/crossing creeks, as my feet will stay dry no matter what.

I love these shoes. Easy break-in, I love the looks, and very comfortable. I travel a lot and wanted a shoe that looked god, but I could also use for walking/hiking. These seem to be perfect. Haven't been in wet conditions to test out the Gore-Tex, so I can't comment on that. Size seems to be right on. Also, want to point out that Zappos rocks! I buy all my shoes here now!

I bought a 1/2 size larger to accommodate my new orthotics, and they fit great. A little stiffer than my regular, non-Gore-Tex Siren Sports, but nothing uncomfortable. Very supportive. I find that this Merrell style works very well with my super narrow foot.

Have been searching for years for a good hiking shoe for birdwatching in tropical jungles. This is filled the bill.

This is my second pair of the Merrell Siren Sport Gore-Tex. I was so pleased after hiking in the first pair (the Brindle color) that I got the gray. I normally wear an 8.5, but went up a half size to accommodate an orthotic. The width was good since I normally wear narrow, but might be a problem for others with wider feet.

I purchased these for my sister. This is her second pair and she loves them. Gore-tex really makes these shoes waterproof, she wears them in the snow.

My dear Merrell's, how I love you. I cannot recall being happier with my shoes, for walking, trudging through snow, light jogging. I know you'll be around for a while, and that means the world to me. And, you're cute, too!

What would we do without Zappos? Prompt, efficient service. I have a wide foot with high arch/instep. After several attempts, I gave up on finding a comfortable boot for my daily walks. These shoes solved my problems! Can walk in snow, slush and icy conditions. They feel secure, provide support and feet stay dry. Ordered a half size up, wide width. Fit is perfect with heavy socks. Might get another pair in normal size if spring ever arrives. Shoe has no pesky seams to annoy toes. A little difficult to get a tight tie, but this shoe is a winner.

Well, I love Merrell shoes and these were no exception. Maybe because of the Gore-Tex they are a little stiffer than my other Merrells, but still great shoes. I got them 1/2 size larger than my normal size and the fit is perfect. But the really amazing news here is that I ordered them on a Thursday night and had them by noon the next day! How does Zappos do that?! I had to tell everyone about this unbelievable customer service. Thanks Zappos!

I love these shoes. I have hard to fit feet, and these have proven great for walking. They are light weight and waterproof. (So many walking shoes are just too heavy for me!) Perfect for my winter outings. Based on other recommendations, I did buy a half size larger, and they fit perfectly.

Love these waterproof shoes! They truly form to your feet and are warm and dry for winter, or wet grass at my son's soccer games.

I bought these for my wife and she loves them. They are a very light shoe and as she claims very comfortable. Also, with the Gore-Tex her feet do not get wet.

I love these shoes! I normally have heel pain and my (orthopedic surgeon) husband suggested I try this brand. As long as I'm wearing the shoes, I'm without pain. They were a little narrow at first, but stretched in the toe area after a few weeks. Now they feel a little wide, but still wonderfully comfortable.
