I would highly recommend this shoe to a person with 'normal' feet. May try size 12 in the foreseeable future...

This is a comfortable easy wear shoe. My husband has trouble bending over tying shoes. This, along with the Encore Bypass, is now the only shoe he wears. The shoe provides support and flexibility.

I work long hours in the hospital and these are the best shoes to use. Comfortable and good quality. .

Comfortable slip on. I have been enjoying them since they arrived and I've had a similar pair which I have used at work for many years. Mierril comes through again.

It will be a sad day if Merrell stops producing this shoe, which I've worn for many years now. I'm guessing I wear mine 340/365 days a year.

This is my main shoe to wear to work. I'm non my feet most of the day these shoes are very comfortable and support my feet all day.

Already own several of this Merrell model... just seem to wear them out through wearing them all the time... love the model and have other Merrill shoes as well...

I buy a pair of these about once a year and love them. Can be casual wear or a little more dressy. My beef is that they seem to be not as good quality as they used to be. They start looking a little shabby and worn in about 8 months to a year. Shoes bought some years ago seemed more robust and better wearing for a year or even two.

This model, encore gust, is a classic. I was first introduced to Merrells about ten years ago and I still have my original pair which are showing some signs of wear but still quite functional. I usually wear arch supports but my Merrels have enough arch support such that I can wear them all day without any discomfort. And, the quality of construction cannot be matched. Most of the other shoes that I have owned have not lasted half as long.

Love them. It took me a long time to find this style of shoe in the U.S. I work in a clean room and need to change shoes several times a day as I go in and out.

I bought a black pair of these shoes from an upscale shoe store several years ago. They were originally for personal, casual use and I was thrilled with the look, fit and comfort. I later got a job as a sous chef and wore these awaiting a company-provided pair of "professional" shoes. I had spent years at a desk job and was surprised to learn I could still be on my feet for 8+ hours at a time without pain or fatigue. Then I got my Job Shoes. I wore them for a week and went back to these Encore Gust. I've never looked back! The style is classic and clean. The support is unparalleled. The construction is top notch. I recently replaced the inserts (thanks to Dave at customer service) and they are like new. I know I'll get years more service from this pair. I've been so pleased that I just bought a brown pair of the same shoes and a spare pair of inserts. I intend to never be without these shoes!

This is my third pair of this shoe, it tends to be my go to shoe. Very Comfortable.

My husband use this model one and another time, for him is the best some years ago.

I was a bit hesitant at first purchasing shoes without trying them on. This is the first time for me. I was amazed at how well they fit. It took just a couple of hours to break them in and for my foot to adjust to the comfort these slides give as well as support.

I love the looks and fit of this shoe. I'm on my feet all day at work and floors are concrete. With other shoes my feet hurt at the end of the day, with these shoes my feet feel great at the of the day. I would recommend these shoes to everyone.
