True to size, immediately comfortable, fit well, warm for winter, durable, well pleased with purchase.

Bought these for my husband. He loves them. They are comfortable, and easy to get in and out of, his main criterion. They are acceptable style-wise for his job as an IT consultant.

This is my third pair of these shoes. One pair that I still wear, I should have thrown away a year ago, as parts are falling off of them, and I've worn the insole into several pieces. I also have a brown pair and just now received a black pair. They are quite comfortable. I have to wear a 5/8" lift in one shoe and the pad fits adequately underneath the removable insole liner. I've used a pair of these shoes for fairly rough work, but they are not intended for heavy work. It is simply that they are so easy to kick on and off, and are so comfortable, that I hate to have to lace up my work shoes. They are good looking, however not flashy. Great shoes for casual, and even dressy casual applications in a pinch. I order them 1/2 size larger (size 12 regular) to accommodate my 11 1/2 EE foot.

Great for getting through security at airports, great on the plane as you can slide out of them as your feet swell. Great walking shoes on uneven surfaces, as I found out in Rome. Supportive without making you feel your feet are in vices. Like barefoot with great cushioning. Water resistant, except for heel, whose low height also allows small stones to get onto the footbed. Big deal, you stop, empty the shoe and get on your smooth way.

Extremely comfortable. Good insert is comfortable. I wear 4E width to be comfortable, but the medium width adjusts itself to the foot being its a clog. No problems. I wouldn't wear it as an everyday outdoor shoe as it may be overtaxed and lessen the life of the shoe. But overall, it's pretty good. And male looking.

The sell point of this shoe was the shank/arch...guess my pair missed this. After 2 weeks felt like I was standing in a hole, terrible support. Not true to marked size or width. Not happy about spending the money.

Ordered these for my husband to wear working. He's a carpenter, so needs a sturdy shoe that bends, and being able to easily kick them off on ebtering clients' homes is another plus. He's owned several pairs of Merrells over the years, but I attempted to order cheaper clogs elsewhere. They immediately went back to be replaced by good old Merrells. There's nothing like them!

I first was introduced to this shoe at a shoe store miles away from my home. I am a hairstylist and I stand on my feet for long periods of time. I needed a shoe that would give me that all day support. I wear a women’s 13, but can never find much of selection in my size. Merrell’s doesn’t carry my size in women’s, but this shoe can be considered unisex. At the shoe store I was also fitted for an orthotic size L to replace the removable insole. I get an 11 1/2 in men, which runs a little big to allow room for the orthotic. I was glad to find both items at Zappos and I have been ordering ever since! It saves time and money! Shipping is exceptional and they have A-1 customer service!!! I’m loving the rewards!!!

Perfect dog-walking shoe. Easy on, easy off and very comfortable. Sizing & quality consistent with other Merrell shoes - you can't go wrong with Merrell.

I have several of these Gusts in different colors, even a fleece lined shoe for winter mornings. The new one replaces an old pair that must be 15 years old. I re-glued the soles several times; they're virtually indestructible. They now look battle fatigued and will make great garage shoes. It's an incredible shoe. Highly recommended. Yes, I have other versions of Gust which are presentable and worn with business dress clothes....

I am a tall woman with a wide foot. I usually wear a women's 10 Wide (sometimes Extra-wide) though they are hard to find. I bought these shoes for casual wear with jeans, and was worried that they might look too much like a guy's show. But they're fine. I'm very happy with my purchase. I've even gotten compliments on them!

I had a pair of these shoes that lasted several years. When I finally replaced them with a new pair, I remembered why I got them the first time. Amazingly comfortable whether you are on your feet all day or just want a casual pair of shoes for driving or around the house. They are now also a part of my business casual attire.

I bought these for my husband - his third pair. He doesn't wear anything but Merrell's when he's at home or even casual business. He has them in black, brown and the stretchy fabric for summer. Loves them!

I have had the Merrell Encore Gust for about a month. I use them for work. They are comfortable on the hard floors for long shifts at work. I will buy more of these!

This is my second pair of Merrells, and turns out the comfort was not a fluke. This second pair is just as comfortable as the old, worn-out pair I just retired.

Bought for my surgeon husband who is on his feet all day. This shoe gives him such comfortable support, he stopped complaining of aching heels/feet at the end of a long day.

The most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. The easy to take on and off. Especially nice wear for airplane travel. Goes well with business casual dress.

This is not the first pair of these that I have owned. The reasons being that they are comfortable, fit well, and wear like they don't ever want to give up. Actually, the only reason I still don't have my other three pairs is because I had a house fire and lost all of my clothes and shoes. True to size and feel great!

These are comfortable shoes. Love the slip-on feature. I have owned several pairs of Merrell shoes similar to this style and they have always been great shoes. I do swap out the insoles with Superfeet in Berry for better arch support.

Had to get a size and 1/2 larger.

Comfortable and convenient shoes. Soft leather. My feet are narrow (B-C) so collar padding needed to be added to secure the fit; but I mostly expected that. Main knock for me is that the footbed liner makes my feet sweat somewhat.

Very comfortable, very good arch support. I had a similar model prior to these that spoiled me and these fall a bit short but are still very good. They look nice, quite nice supple leather, and go okay slightly dressed up or casual with jeans, etc. I used the prior pair in winter; high heel kept my feet out of the snow. Only complaint is they squeak a bit when I walk. I hope that goes away. The air cushion offers good cushion when walking. With thick socks they are snug, with thin ones, a bit loose and airy. Overall, I am pleased.
