Replaced a pair two years old (same style - black Rockport penny loafers). The new 8-1/2 4E was noticeably shorter than the old 8-1/2 4E, could not fit my foot in it at all. Exchanged for a 9 4E which was still very slightly shorter than the old 8-1/2 4E.

Excellent shoe, when you have to be on your feet all day, and still want to make a good appearance, these shoes from Rockport, truly are a winner. The comfort factor is excellent, the support is first rate, and speaking of first rate...my hat's off to Zappos, for their excellent customer service, and high quality products, I wont shop hardly anywhere else.

The WWs are very wide, with super comfortable rubber bottoms that are light and flexible. I bought these because I am tired of cold feet from wet leather soles!

I was looking for the Agawam penny loafers which my husband has been wearing for years and he loves. This shoe looked the most like a direct replacement for the Agawams, and he is very happy with them. Zappo's had the best price.

Bought these for my husband. He has a wide foot that is hard to fit. He loves these shoes especially since he didn't need to go shopping!

The shoes are great. Very comfortable! Second Zappos purchase - excellent service just like the last time I bought from here! The shoes were on my doorstep in two or three days, and well packaged. Saves me an aggravating trip to the mall.

We got them for our son. He loves them and says he is saving them for when he goes out on dates! Can't get any better than that!

True to size. Great quality. Husband loved them and now wants them in black.

Pretty good fit with the size 9- 4E. Maybe a tad tight so I may stretch them a little and will wear thin socks. Fit is probably as good as I will get without going to a custom made shoe. The black is very shiny which gives it the look of a dress shoe so that should be kept in mind. I've used rubbing alcohol to dull the shine a little since I don't want the "patent leather" look. If you like this style as I do, this shoe should work for you.

Recently bought a pair of these shoes with high expectations, but was a bit disappointed. Supposed to be 4E width, but found they were actually narrower than that. Buy a size wider than listed.

I absolutely love these shoes! Perfect fit, true to width, and they are as comfortable as you can expect a dress shoe to be. I ordered them in burgandy and I love them so much I ordered another pair in black.
