Soft and comfortable shoe. I would prefer a bit more arch support. Very pretty for casual dressy.

Great shoe but definitely felt smaller than marked, maybe even a full size. Comfortable for a ballet flat, but not for walking any distance.

I love my FSNY flats. I just about live in them except when I'm in sandals. My only frustration is the lack of consistency with their sizing. I wear a 9 1/2, but I usually order a 10 in their shoes. This shoe runs very small. My toes are crunched. I am going to try an 11. I really want this color so I hope it fits.

After reading the reviews, I ordered 1/2 size up. I should have ordered 1 size up, since they are still too small. The leather has a very soft feel and the lime color is very pretty. I suggest you order 1 size up!

These shoes fit true to size in length, but run a little narrow across the front. Each pair seems to vary a little. I ordered two pairs, one pair fit, but the other pair I had to return because they were too narrow in the front. Unlike many little pumps, the heel is a little higher on these, so they stay on feet with narrow heels!

Really cute, but hard to fit. I usually wear a 7, and I ordered both a 7 and a 7 1/2 to see which one fit better. Apparently, I need a 7 1/4. The 7 fit snugly around most of my foot, but was too tight in the toes. The 7 1/2 was about right at the toes, but too loose in the rest of the shoe. I'm very disappointed to have return both. The leather is so wonderfully soft, and I love the look. But it seems this brand isn't going to work with my feet.

Great shoes. Very comfortable. Ran very small on me. I ordered an 11, and my toe hit the end and felt tight around the seem. I ordered the 12 in exchange in hopes that it wouldn\'t be too big...and it worked!

Love the color and look of the shoes. They do run a little short, probably should have gone 1\\\/2 size up.

I ordered a 7 for my size 6.5 foot, but it was still too short for my foot. Very pretty shoe, but it felt stiff and too high on my heel for comfort. Very disappointing for a shoe in this price range.

These are much too short. Also they are more square-toed than I expected. And I did not care for the label sewn into the back seam. Sorry; I had hoped to like these.

I love these; they're beautiful, but I had to return them. I wear a 10, and unfortunately, these run small and with no 10.5, I wasn't going to risk the 11 (the 10 fit, but was snug). Not worth the money.

I normally wear a size nine and ended up in a ten for length and width. A beautiful shoe with very soft leather.

These are so comfortable; I think my feet will be happy spending all day in them. The only complaint I have is strange sizing. I first tried these on in a department store and was shocked to find a size 10 to be too small. I have never ever needed anything bigger than a 10 (I generally am a 10, once in awhile a 9.5). An 11 in these is perfect for me, so I'd suggest going up one size. I have a bunion on one foot that makes finding a good fit difficult at times--a lot of ballet flat type shoes cut right across the top of that joint and are painful. These shoes are helpful in two ways: (1)the leather is so soft and supple; (2) the top of the shoe goes a little farther back on the foot so the edge does not cut across the joint, but instead completely covers it, saving me from any pain. For anyone with similar issues, I highly recommend these shoes. I do have somewhat wide feet, so I'm not sure how the fit would be for someone with very narrow feet. For me, these shoes are a great find and worth the price. They are versatile in style and keep my feet happy!

I've worn these shoes for about two weeks now and have really gotten to like them. I wasn't too sure at first because of the sizing. I usually wear a 9. some shoes m width, some that are made narrower fit better in a wide width. I ordered a 9 1/2 in these and they felt just the tiniest bit loose. I was thinking that if they stretched much they would be too big. So I ordered the 9 to compare and that size was just too tight. They would have to stretch for me to be able to wear them. So I kept the 9 1/2 and wore them every day to see how they did. They are very, very comfortable. They haven't stretched out and become too big-they're just really comfortable. I was on vacation for three days with them and on my feet, doing a lot of walking. They were fine. They go with everything and are so good looking. I've ended up absolutely loving them. They don't even hurt he back of my heels and most slip on shoes with backs do that. The width is perfect. The leather is soft and supple. I would buy these in other colors.

I have two pair of these and they are adorable as well as comfortable. I love the little heel. They run at least a half size short, but are nice for wider feet. I love them!

These shoes feel like slippers right out of the box. I did order a 1/2 size larger, and they fit perfectly. I love these shoes! I am looking at French Sole Sloop next.

Ordered 7.5 that's usually what I'd wear in a flat. They looked great and good quality but had to squeeze my foot in, just all around too tight. Hard to gauge if I should have gone up a 1/2 size or full size? Unfortunately had to wear them to a funeral in a pinch otherwise would have returned or exchanged for a bigger size.

I bought this shoe in my usual size, 8, and found them much too small. I wanted to go up a half-size, but that was not listed as a choice. I did order a 9, hoping it would work. With enough padding, it does. I question why there was no 8 1/2 available when there were many reviews stating that this shoe runs small. The overall style is good, nice texture, rounded toe, just what I wanted except for size.

I was excited that they had my size in stock; I had been waiting for 9.5 to become available for a while. The look of this shoe is great--classy and elegant--and the sizing is spot on. The toe box is really wide without looking frumpy and I suspect this is the reason why this shoe garners such high ratings. No sardine toes here. However, I had to return them because there is no arch support and, more importantly, the heel is very uncomfortable--it's like walking on a wood block. At my age (50s), sadly, I can no longer abide that. I need more cushioning or the dreaded plantar fascitis sets in. For a younger person (i.e., myself 20 years ago) these shoes would be a home run. But those days are gone for me. FSNY please consider some cushioning in the heel and I'll be your bff. But for now, it's back to Born, Flexx, Birks, Teva, and every other shoe made for those of us who who are looking for beauty inside and out.

I have a love/hate relationship with the shoe. For one, it's beautiful. You can dress it up or dress it down. It's lovely in the office, for errands, or for going out. It does require a break-in period (some stretching of the toe box) and that's why I'd say it feels a half-size smaller out of the box. Once you've gone through that period they're perfect though, so I still recommend ordering the size you ordinarily wear. Now, the bad part is that these shoes last about 4 months before my tendency to come down on my heel completely wears out of the sole and, by the time I notice, the material right next to the sole is also ruined so there is no hope of fixing it. The upper just becomes more comfortable (assuming you order your proper size) and is quite resilient but due to the heel wear they become ragged looking. I'm going to order my third pair and am considering taking them to a cobbler when they come in to affix a more durable sole to perhaps prevent this problem. The shoe is otherwise perfect. But the sole seems to go from "a little worn but still quite good" to "completely gone" before I realize it. That's my only complaint.

I ordered my usual size (6.5), and they were too small. 7's are also too small. It's a shame, because the footbed seems comfy, and the leather is remarkably soft for something that looks a bit shiny and sparkly.

These are a bit too small for me. I just ordered them in 1/2 size larger & am returning these. Then I looked in my closet & saw that my other pair of French Sole flats (older, different style) are half a size larger than what I normally wear, as well. So I think the brand must run a little small...at least on me. Otherwise they seem like very nice shoes although not for heavy wear. The other pair of French Soles that I own I wear for dinner dates & similar events. . I would wear them out too quickly if I wore them a lot for shopping/work. I put them in the “casual dress up” category.

I wear an 8.5 normally. They say to size up so I first ordered a 9. Too small. Returned, ordered 9.5 my feet are swimming in them. I give up not the shoes for me.

I LOVED these shoes and have been very conflicted about returning them. I ordered 7.5 although I'm a 7 but it was the only size available. They fit, so order 1/2 size up from your regular. Unfortunately I bought 2 pairs to compare and the other pair is a bit dressier, which is what I needed - hence returning this pair.

Shoes are great, but my feet must have grown since the last time I ordered, they are pretty snug- I will return for 1/2 size larger
