I bought this because I wanted something warm that wasn't big and bulky.... And this does the job!!! I am a steady 2X, but after reading the reviews I ordered a 3X and it's perfect! It fits very nicely, the elastic around the sleeves is nice and the zip-up pockets are very convenient! I also love how the elastic around the bottom of the jacket can be adjusted to size!! My only complaint would be that it could stand to be a couple inches longer. It's a tad bit short, but overall, the color is beautiful and the jacket is just what I was looking for!

This is my fifth Benton Springs jacket and they are always a good deal and in such beautiful colors. I am normally an XL, but in Columbia I need the next size up. The new purple color is luscious!

I am so thrilled that I ordered this jacket!!! I read a lot of the reviews and went ahead and ordered the 3X even though I'm pretty much happy in 2Xs. This jacket fit perfectly! I love, love, LOVE it! I thought I wanted a North Face, but being larger, they had such a limited selection and nothing in cute colors. Hey, just because I'm large doesn't mean I only want to wear black or navy. Yuck. Anyway, I ordered the "groovy pink" and its absolutely gorgeous. I plan on ordering other colors very soon. The fit is wonderful. I'm a solid 20-22, but this 3X feels like it was custom made for me. It is a little shorter than I normally wear, but it did not cut me in a way that made me uncomfortable at all. It cuts below my hip area, but not down to my thighs. The sleeves are great. Maybe a tad long, but when I raise my arms, I am not halfway exposed down my arm. I adore the soft fabric. It is warm and snuggly. Obviously since it is August, I've not had the chance to wear it in the cold, however, I'm usually the one with no coat on because I hate "bulky!" This is not bulky at all. I am looking forward to ordering more in other colors. You simply can not beat the $40 price. Who needs the "other" brands. This is a Great Coat!!!!

I read reviews regarding these types of jackets prior to buying. I had read that it ran a little small, so I ordered a size larger than I normally would. I'm glad I did, because what I got fits a little roomy due to me ordering a size up. I wanted this to wear over layers on an Ireland vacation. For me it's perfect.

I LOVE my Columbia Benton Springs Full-Zipper jackets! I live in Louisiana, our weather changes continually from October through April and the fleece Columbia uses is perfect, warm and snuggly on our coldest days but somehow not overly hot when the temperatures rise during the day. I have probably six of these identical jackets and try to buy a new one every year! The fit seems perfect for me, I'm pleased with the fabric and workmanship, and I love being able to wash/dry them. I also love the colors - I wish I had one in every color! One little hint to share! Recently my oldest jacket scared me - I washed and dried it in the dryer and the zipper didn't seem right. I put one drop of WD-40 in the zipper clasp using a Q-tip and it started working better than ever. That jacket is no telling how old and has been washed repeatedly - it seems to get better the older it gets! I honestly love these jackets - I don't know of anything I wear that I enjoy more! My daughter loves hers so much she'll slip one on early in the morning to wake-up with a cup of coffee - like a mini security blanket/robe! Reading further in the review questionnaire prompted another consideration in my personal preference for Columbia's Benton Springs jacket - I am not really a professional thrill seeker but I am outside virtually 365 days every year walking my dog. I wish Columbia would produce a line of dog apparel!!

Great Jacket. Shipping was excellent. I ordered it one day and it was at my home in 2 days. I am glad I ordered a size bigger because I think it would have been small otherwise.

I have had 6 or 7 of these jackets over the past few years and they have been very nice for the "cold" days in the south! They're lightweight yet warm. The only complaint I have is that the inside of a couple of them started to "pill" after several washings and it made them uncomfortable to wear with a short sleeve shirt.

I couldn't find a red jacket in my area so I ordered one from you. I have four of these jackets now and love to wear them. They are very soft and warm. They fit well and seem to be true to size.

Provides moderate warmth except in windy conditions - it is not a heavy jacket.

This is the first fleece jacket I have owned. I love it! It is soft and comfortable and above all else, is very warm. Length for me is great as I am short. Often a plus size top will be too long but this jacket is just right. Very pleased with the fleece.

Me and my sister ordered this for our birthday, reading the reviews we decided to get a size bigger than we usually wear, she ordered a 2X and I ordered a 3X. When we received them and tried them on, we realized that they were wayyyyyy too big. The good thing is I could fit her 2X perfectly. So we ended up exchanging my 3X for her a 1X. I believe these run slightly bigger and I'm happy to have a little extra room. But If you're ordering one, order the size you usually wear.

I never thought I would EVER own a Columbia jacket because I'm a plus size woman. I figured I would just always be jealous of my skinny, athletic girlfriends. Then I found this. The material is sooooo soft. I got the Quill color in size 3X. I would say that it runs just slightly small. I would normally take a 2X, but based on other reviews went with the 3X. It is a little large, but not enough that I think I could have gotten the 2X. And I prefer a bit of room over very fitted so I can wear layers underneath. The color was exactly as in the picture. Love the elastic at the sleeves and the drawstring bottom. Also love the zippered pockets and that the pockets are deep enough to be useful. Can hold my gloves and my keys and my phone in the pockets. I can't say how well it will wear, but so far so good. I hope it lasts a very long time. I also love the longer length because it keeps me warmer and it looks better when you are plus size. THANKS again to Columbia.

The Benton Spring Full Zip fleece jacket is perfect for every season. I have owned several Columbia products in the past. However this partiular 1x jacket doesn't run true to size. It is smaller and less roomy. I am returning it and ordering the 2x because I really like the jacket. Hopefully the red or the green is still available. I would also like to see all the fleece colors represented in the plus sizes as you have in the XS, S, M, L, and XL sizes.

I love the color and style. It is comfortable and roomy yet not too boxy. It is light weight and very warm. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Quality is excellent. Runs a little small. I sized up 1 size.
