I bought these when I began to work in the ER and am on my feet at least 10 hours of my 12-hour shift. The Good: I've had no more plantar fasciitis pain or back pain since wearing these shoes. The Bad: The instep was initially tight, so I wore thinner socks. After a couple of months, my the instep loosened up and my feet started sliding too far forward and crunching my toes. The Ugly: I have lost 3 toenails in the four months I've had these shoes.

I am 72 yrs. old--ordered by my doctor to wear Danskos for my wounded feet 6 years ago--own 9 pair and won't wear anything else now. You wouldn't believe the multiple compliments I receive on the bright patent ones every time I wear them! I so appreciate the relief they bring--(not the compliments, but the shoes, chuckle). I do wish I could order a different size for my left foot than my swollen right foot, but that would be unreasonable. I am so grateful for the dr. that introduced me to this wonderful shoe!

These are amazing shoes and so beautiful. I will add here for those who have never bought Dansko, that the solid colors fit true to your size. I'm a 7.5/8 and I wear a 38, but, if you buy any of the patterns, be careful as there is very little consistency in sizing. The patterned Dansko's are usually too tight across the arch or the toe box. Return them and order the same size as you will eventually get one that fits. Makes it difficult for those who buy a patterned one for the first time and think that the fit is horrible, because also the next size will be too big. I have 12 pairs of Dansko's, so I know. Just keep at it. Zappos makes it easy to exchange and it's worth it.

Awesome purple color! I Get tons of compliments everytime I wear them.These shoes run big so I always use insoles to tighten them up a bit because a size down is too small.

Not the greatest looking shoe, but if you need to be on your feet all day nothing beats them.

I bought the purple in size 42 for my size 11 feet. They are so cute! But they run very small in this size so I have to return them for the black patent leather ones because they don't make the purple any bigger. Great shoes though!

I love these shoes! They are very comfortable, I have worn this brand for many years and just purchased the purple. I have received many compliments! I have wide feet and have high arches. I have no problem with these so these may be wide for someone with a narrower foot.

I love these shoes so much that I have multiple pairs! Dansko Professional Clogs have become my signature. I have just about every foot ailment there is and these shoes are the best fitting and most comfortable I have found. Even my podiatrist is happy!

I bought these for a friend; I have a pair myself and they are so comfortable that it seems you are barefoot all the time. Mine are marble red and everyone notices and loves them. I may soon purchase a pair of these blue ones myself. My friend is thrilled!

"Yes, these are Dansko clogs" is what I say every time I wear them as they do not fail to initiate that question. The slightly iridescent purple is a perfect color; others have called it street purple as it is not flashy and goes with everything. I did have to return the size 37, which I have worn for years as it is now a full size bigger. You will smile through winter when these are on your feet in the rain.

Dansko Professional Patent clogs are my favorite fall/winter shoes. I wear them from September through May. I have five pairs of Dansko clogs and three of them are patent. They are extremely comfortable right out of the box. The purple is a nice, deep color that goes with a lot of other colors. I wear them with jeans and skirts or dresses with tights.

Absolutely love these shoes. I have had Dansko before, but this is my first pair of the Professional style. Highly recommend. These are the only shoes I will wear to work. Great for someone who spends a lot of time on her feet.

I just got my first pair of Dansko, and I love them. I got the black professional patent. I will be ordering the brown patent soon.

This is my third pair in three years! I love them. I am on my feet all day and they never hurt. I still wear the last pair, black patent, out in the cold evenings here in Michigan. I just saw the eggplant color and had to go for it! Several people, mainly doctors swear by and work everyday in Dansko shoes. I am considering the denim blue swirl pair to wear with jeans! They are addicting shoes. The best thing about the patent leather is that they always look brand new, as they never scuff!

Comfy and easily cleanable! runs large-ish. Softer footbed than older Danskos (not sure this is a plus but some may prefer it).

What a great shoe! I've always worn the Sanita brand in the past (mainly because reviews on here have said Sanita used to make the soles for Danskos and people reported they were better). Anyway, I bought these because of the color, and they are fantastic. I think they're more comfortable than my Sanitas - the top of the shoe comes further back on my foot and that seems to feel a little better. The size 39 Danskos seem a little bigger than 39 Sanitas, so that may be part of it. Also, I have gotten more compliments on these shoes than any I've ever worn. I'm a nurse and these shoes are infinitely better than any tennis shoes I've ever bought. My feet and legs still hurt sometimes, but my back never does anymore. And Zappos' quick delivery and excellent customer service were great, like always!

I love Dansko clogs and have several pairs. I'm usually a size 6.5. In Danskos, the 37 is a little too small for me so I get 38's and wear thicker socks. These are shoes for everyday or a somewhat casual workplace, not a super stylish night out on the town. I just got the Pearlized Patent in a great deep purple color and it's beautiful - a little fun & funky without being silly.

These are awesome shoes. I work in retail and am on my feet all day. Dansko gives me the support I need and I never have any kind of pain or discomfort.

Beautiful new color Danskos. I have quite a few pairs of the Professional. When I saw the blue, I thought, wow, that would look great with jeans, and they really do! They are Danskos, so order the size you need. As a tip, if the instep arch is too tight, try another pair. I've found over time that not all sizes are created equal. I liked them so much I got them in the brown, also beautiful!

These are my second Dansko and I really like them. Have received several compliments. They are heavy like all Danskos but prevent foot pain with all day wear. Don't squeak yet like my previous pair.

In my profession I stand for a very long time and these shoes are absolutley awesome. My feet feel good all day! I normally wear about a size 9 so I ordered a size 39 in the Danskos. That is the size I needed, however, I have had to reorder a couple of times because they are all hand-made and each pair fit a little different from another (some a bit sloppy feeling and others a bit snug) - no worries though when ordering from Zappos as there is free shipping both ways and excellent customer service! The purple pearlized patent are a very good shade of purple, not overbearing, but just right! You will not go wrong ordering a pair of Danskos and ordering from Zappos! Order and you will be glad you did! I have three pairs now.

I have been wearing this style in black patent for years. I did 21 days straight traveling in Europe with no sore feet! I am a fan! People have stopped me to ask where I got this great color. Zappos.com!

Excellent choice if on your feet all day, does take time for those with wide feet to benefit from "wearing them in." My second pair and they last forever!
