Cute boot, comfortable heel, but a little too narrow for my medium width. Hated to do it, but had to send them back.

I get tons of compliments on these boots, and they're very versatile - they look great under boot cut jeans, or with skirts and tights. The only issue is the width - I wear a true 8, and one of the shoes pinches my toes. I honestly think the shoes are different widths! It has gotten better with wear, but I can't fit more than a trouser sock in one side. Other than that, they're very comfortable and attractive.

I really like the boot but have to return because the rolled up the top is really wide - could not wear with jean unless they are tucked in. I am petite so maybe just because I am small. They are really cute and very comfortable.

I love the boot, but I was disappointed to find flaws in the leather. Too much money to spend to not have them be perfect. I'm going to try the suede if they get them in stock. Have to say though - love Zappos!

Addendum to original review. Still love these boots but I feel people should know they are not very warm. I recently had to wear these standing outside in NYC in 30-degree weather (not exactly frigid) and even with light wool socks my feet were freezing in these. Under about 30% of your foot is shearling, but under the rest of it is bare wood. Also, there is no sheepskin above your foot (which is what makes these dressier/slimmer-looking). I will still wear these boots a lot; just don't be fooled into thinking that because they're Uggs they're super warm.

Great boot, especially now that it is 27 degrees out! Plus, they are so cute, look good with everything from jeans to skirts and I can wear them all day and not get too tired of them. I wish I had them in black, too. An extra word about Zappos.com. I have ordered all of my Xmas presents; they have all come within 2 days. I am crazy about shopping with Zappos.

I had to have these boots! I work at a golf course and must have waterproof and warm shoes in the winter. These fit the bill perfectly. Plus, they are so cute. I wish I had them in black, too! The only thing even slightly negative is that I have to wear thick socks because they felt a little big w/o them. But, overall, I think Zappos is the coolest site! I love the customer service, the quick deliveries.

I have been more or less living in these since they arrived. The trademark Uggs shearling feels great underfoot, especially in a hard-soled clog, but you should know that the woolly sheepskin only extends from the toes back to the beginning of the arch; your heel rests on very nice, high quality leather, no fuzzy wool. Likewise, there is no fuzzy wool on top of your foot, unlike in other Uggs. I had mixed feelings about this initially but have come to think that bit of shearling beneath my toes is enough in a dressier boot like this. The leather is used is gorgeous and looks like it will last a long time. And the adjustable cuff really gives you a few different looks from one shoe. Highly recommend!

Very cute and stylish. Not as comfy as traditional Uggs, but not awful. Worst thing about these boots is that the lining stops halfway down the boot, so your toes aren't wrapped in fleece. I wear them with socks so they're more comfy. They are very clunky and clog like. Can be worn unfolded either under or over jeans.

They run very large - I am a 10 and they feel huge even with a sock. They are pretty comfy, but I have not decided If I am going to keep them yet. I wanted to try a 9 but they are not in stock. But they are very cool looking.

I ordered this in both a size 8 and 9 because of the reviews I had read. The boots are so cute that I hate to have to return them; however, there is so much slippage in the heel area that they are uncomfortable. I tried with heavier socks and then the toes are too cramped but the heel still slips too much. I guess they are not meant for my feet. Great looking and such a great price.

I love the look and feel. However, I only wore them one hour in the house before the front sole detached from the leather upper. I am returning them and trying another pair. Hopefully, they will be of better quality.

This boot is so cute - and I wanted to love it. I loved the look and I loved the way my foot felt in it - however, every step I took my heels popped out. I had to send them back. There is no way I could have walked a block in them.

I've looked high and low for something cute but warm that I could wear all winter without resorting to snow boots. These are cute, but they are not warm, in spite of the shearling lining on the footbed. Also, the fit is strange. I read that Uggs run large, so I ordered a half size down only to find that these are a little too snug in front while my ankles slip when I walk in them. I tried inserts to keep my feet from sliding forward, but with the shearling lining the inserts don't really work. I really wish these were the boots for me. I'm still looking.

I wanted and expected to love this boot. Being a size 8 1/2, I initially ordered a size 8 based on the reviews and Uggs running large. The 8 fit great...as long as I wasn't wearing socks. But the fleece is only in the toe box...not in the heel. With wool socks on the toe box was way too tight. So I ordered a size 9. The 9s fit great in the toe box with socks, but with no fleece lining in the heel, they were way too loose. I waffled on whether I could live with heal slippage, but for the price...I don't think so. Sadly, they are both going back.

I tried these boots on in the mall. I am so glad I did. I tried the 7 and the 8. The 7 felt almost like a 7.5 and the 8 felt almost like an 8.5 I am a 7.5 in just about every brand of shoe I have ever owned, from J.Crew to tennis shoe. I can usually go up, not down in size if necessary. However, with these, the heel was very tight - I mean the shape of the heel bed was very narrow and it hugged my heel very snugly in the 7, but my foot fit with a a pair of dress socks in the 7. In fact, I suspect that once the leather is worn in, most people would find they can go a size down in these, because the weird shape of the heel bed becomes shaped more like a curve, and less like a V. The 8 was way too big. When I walked in them, my foot flopped up and down inside the shoe. I even doubled up with an athletic sock when trying on the 8 (my plan B when shoe shopping is extra socks) and the flopping persisted. Also, the clog bottom did look a little cheap, especially in comparison to other similar clog styles.

I thought this boot would be cute to wear with skinny jeans or a skirt to work as I am on my feet all day. Usually wear a Dansko. Unfortunately, UGG has not perfected the rocker. This boot does not move well with my foot.It is also wide. Am returning it.

I agree with the reviewer that said these just don't look right with pants or jeans unless they are skinny jeans - they look totally weird underneath pants or bootleg jeans, both when rolled down, or worn straight without folding down. They make your pants and jeans stick out funny at the ankles; the pants don't go over this boot nicely at all, and must be tucked in. I wish I could make them work, too - because they are cute - but they are too expensive to keep to just wear with skinny jeans. I have enough shoes and boots now for that. I'm sending them back, with regrets, I do like them.

I'm a college student and don't have a ton of money - these boots were a major purchase for me. In spite of the fact that I've had them for almost 2 years, they've been VERY gently worn and treated with care. However, the entire wooden base on one was inexplicably cracked today. Obviously, I've never worn them hiking, I don't recall ever tripping in them, I don't wear them on any surface rockier than gravel. I took them to a shoe repair person and he said they were not constructed well and were unrepairable. I probably should have returned them when I got them (one boot pinched my foot, while the other was fine - never had that happen before), but I was so excited to have such cute boots and thought the leather would stretch (it didn't). Oh well. Live an learn. P.S. Order a size up. I'm a true 8M and I could only wear the 8's with tights or trouser socks, not even barefoot. :(

I bought this boot in black and really liked it. It looks great with skinny jeans. Last week, however, I bent over to pick up something on the floor and the wooden sole broke in half! I couldn't believe it. I barely weigh 100 lbs so there wasn't that much pressure on the boot. There is an obvious flaw in the deign. I have read other reviews with this same problem so be aware. I decided to try them out again so I just ordered the gray. The toes are shinier than the rest of the boot (again I've seen other reviews mention this). I thought maybe they were a return and someone got them wet, but it appears that's just how they were made. This new pair also squeaks when I walk, but the older pair never did that. I think Ugg has some quality control problems with this boot.

I really wanted this boot to work; however, it just wasn't going to happen. I am a true size 8, I ordered a size 8 and it was huge. Felt like a size 9. I returned it and ordered a size 7 (which I never wear). The size 7 was a bit snug, but the heel just slipped on both feet each time I took a step. They just weren't going to work. They do run big, and it seems that even in a smaller size, for me, the heel ran big as well. Major bummer!

They look good in a picture, but they are not so hot. I ordered according to the size I was supposed to and they were too big. Not worth the money. Anyhow they are going back.
