I bought this shoe in brown first and then in black, and get lots of compliments on both. The brown pair was an instant perfect fit, and one of the most comfortable pairs of heels in my closet. The black pair is a little tighter in the toe box, and the right shoe hurt the arch of my foot at first, but this gets better with each wearing. The sole is a non-flexible wooden platform, and as a result the heel slides a bit on my foot as I walk with both brown and black pairs, but I haven\'t had any problem with blisters. The tie stays tied all day, and I find the strap to be quite comfortable.

Very comfortable yet very stylish. I was interested in seeing how these felt and looked. I was not surprised at their comfort and the fact that they did not make my feet hurt the first time I wore them. Now I can look good and have happy feet as well!

Love these Danskos. Needed a pair of shoes I could wear with pants or skirts while traveling, and stand\/walk in all day. These are perfect. They are quite cute and very comfy, all day. They fit exactly like the Dansko Professional clog.

I wanted to love this shoe because it's so cute, but it's too narrow in the toe box for me. And my feet are apparently not the same size around, as on one side the flaps came together and on the other there was a small gap. So, it wouldn't work on me. But I really wanted them to fit well.

This is a great shoe. This is my first Dansko purchase. I wore these to sales meetings 2 days in a row, stood all day and did not experience any discomfort. I have a bad knee and never wear heels anymore so for these to be comfortable was unexpected but great! Arch support could be a little better but there is enough. I highly recommend these shoes. I took my regular shoe size and did not need to go up or down from my regular size. Great room in the toe box. No break in period necessary.

Very cute but a full size larger that normal. I'm a 5½ so there's no ordering a size down, which is too bad.

This shoe ran a little big for me. Very cute, but not as comfortable as my previous Danskos...a little "stiff" I think. But very cute!

These are one of my favorite pairs of shoes, and a fun change from the typical Danskos. I found them to run big so had to get a smaller size. Otherwise, these are great!

I think these must fit true to size because I ordered a size down as suggested (37)instead of my regular 38, and they were just a tad small. I love the wooden sole/heel - hard to see it in the picture. I also love the leather and the style of the leather - like a spunky mary jane. These seem like a fun take on a vintage granny oxford. But I decided not to keep because I felt overall they seemed a little chunky, maybe it's the heel. They feel different than regular Dansko's, while they could be comfortable, not an all day every day shoe like the Professional clog or the Lolita sandal.

I fell in love with this shoe the moment I saw it and ordered a size 40, the size I take in the Dansko Professional. I was so disappointed when they arrived and were far too big and they actually felt more like a size and a half larger than marked. If the size 39 becomes available, I will reorder.

I have the "Rudy" which is basically the same shoe only it's a slip-on. I had the same problem with the ball of my foot hurting. I now have two pairs of ball-of-foot insoles in them, the cushy rubbery kind, and now they are comfy! My foot needed something to grab on to and this did the trick. They get extra stars because they are so cute!

These shoes are gorgeous! I bought the black ones and have received many compliments already. Day one I wore no tights and got blisters. Have worn tights with them ever since with no blisters, but the balls of my feet get pretty sore after a few hours. So, not as comfortable as any other Dansko's I've had, but I hope they will be, eventually. Also, they run a full size bigger than most. I have fairly wide feet and always wear a 7.5-8. I had to return my 38 for a 37, and it still has a tiny bit of room at the heel. If I can break these in, I will get the red ones, too.

This shoe tends to slip at the back of heel, but feels narrow in the toe. Got compliments on it though.Had to take shoes off at work because they were uncomfortable.

Unfortunately, these will be going back today. I am a big Dansko fan and have owned about 14 pairs (maybe 9 different styles) over the years. But it seems that the dressier the Dansko style, the less comfortable the feel. They do good with basic clogs but not so much w/ dress shoes. They were just uncomfortable. They were the same size as every other pair of Danskos I've owned, but my feet slid around like crazy in these. And when they slid, my toes kept getting smashed into the toe box, which put a lot of pressure on my big toe joints. And the laces wouldn't stay tight. They were great to stand in. But painful and annoying to walk in. I really, really wanted to like these. But I can't spend money on a pair of shoes that hurt.

Oh my gosh, what an adorable shoe! The hard wood sole makes them less comfortable than they should be, but the arch support is great.The heel is a little wide so I have to tie them really tight to keep them from slipping; this in turn causes pain across the top of my foot. The color is nicer than the photo; a little lighter and more neutral. Zappos didn't have my size so I ordered a size smaller. Will try the next size up and keep my fingers crossed!

These shoes are so cute. So it kills me to write a bad review of them, but my feet were in pain for a full week after wearing them twice! The laces rubbed and put so much pressure on the tops of my feet that I couldn't wear any shoes that touched the tops for 2 weeks. They rubbed holes into the tops of my feet and these were the correct size everywhere else. At least the scars are beginning to heel now, but I'm never trying Dansko's again. Too painful!
