The heel is a little wide for me, so it slips and an insert doesn't really work because of the depth of the heel area. Still, I wear them and walk just fine with no knee pain or sore feet which is a miracle for me with a heel this high. They look great; everyone asks where I got them. This is not a squashy comfort shoe, but I think that makes it better for your legs and ankles.

It's a beautiful shoe; however, not as comfy as the standard Dansko clogs & nothing I could wear all day & do a lot of walking. I really like the looks, but not entirely sure I'll keep it.

I really like these shoes and wear them often because they go with everything from jeans to dress slacks. I have to be careful of the styles I buy to accommodate a heel lift I need to wear and to not put too much pressure on the ball of my left foot (too many years wearing stilettos!) Downside? My foot tends to slip off the accelerator because I can't feel the pedal through the wooden sole, and I had to put in a heel pad to combat slippage. Not bad!

I wasn't sure if I would like these since they appear to be "heavy." However, I decided to take a chance since the cuteness factor was there. I'm very happy with the shoes. The sole of the shoe is not rubber, so they are heavy but will not weigh you down when walking. I walk a lot, and the shoe is cute and practical.

Gorgeous, high quality shoe, just a little too stiff for me where i have had previous foot surgery on the top. Sad to return it. I have 4 other pairs of Danskos, this one is consistent with the others in size and quality and maybe a runs a tad larger.

Gorgeous shoe on, felt tighter than the normal Danskos (I've had about 6 pairs), also the heel is back to being wood, or feels like it, no give, so did not like that. In the end will not work for me, so they are going back.

Dansko is my favorite brand for comfort and I ordered the same size as usual but these were very difficult to squeeze my feet into!

This shoe is really cute but long for me. I usually wear a 6M but like most closed back Danskos, this one is just a bit too big/long. Really cute style, though.

I love Danskos, and I can usually get away with wearing them comfortably, even with my wide feet. Although I love this style, it runs narrower than many other Danskos. Too bad! They are great looking, and probably comfortable for people with narrower feet.

Really cute. A little loose (38 is too tight) and the sole is hard (not what I am used to for Dansko).

I have a question: are my heels suppose to slip out of these shoes like they do with the "professional" clogs? I love these shoes: the look and the feel of them are perfect but I just cant tell if they are a bit too big for me. Help!

These are really cute, but the fit is just okay. I purchased both the black leather and brown nubuck leather. The black was a lot more comfortable because the leather is more supple. The brown felt tighter and the back of the shoe was digging into my heels a bit. The black pair kind of slipped off my heels as I walked - typical of Dansko - and I would be fine if this happened for the clogs, but with a heel, I wasn't comfortable in my ability to not twist my ankle. So they are both going back. I did like that they have a platform thereby decreasing the actual heel height. They also have nice arch support. Such a cute style! But I really need shoes that work perfectly for me in terms of comfort and stability.

Really cute looking clog, but the brown leather finish was a bit shabby and unfinished compared to the black leather. The leather also felt tighter and shoes were harder to get on my feet. Kept the black ones, returned the brown ones. Liked the color and brass studs, though.

Very comfortable and more stylish than the classic Dansko clogs, but not quite as comfortable as the Professional. Looks good with casual dresses, skirts and pants.

When I saw these, I knew I had to have them. I am a huge fan of the Dansko Professional, but these seemed much more stylish and edgy. Because they have a heel, they are not as comfortable as the Professional. However, they are pretty comfortable. They are so adorable with jeans and skirts, you can wear them practically every day. They are a little more narrow than the professional in the toebox, but still not constricting. They do take a little time to get used to each day, just because they fit your foot more closely. I would definitely recommend these to my friends!!!

Just because it says Dansko doesn't mean it's going to be comfortable all day. I am a teacher and I love Dansko sandals and professional shoes. The Dansko Ryders are cute, but not meant for being on your feet all day. I would not purchase another pair and I would not recommend them unless you don't have to walk much in them.

I love the looks of these shoes, they are so cool! Unfortunately, they are too small. Must return them - bummer. They shipped freakishly fast though.

These are gorgeous shoes. Their design is unique and stylish. Unfortunately, the leather is so stiff that I found them extremely uncomfortable. I really would like to keep them, but I don't think they could be broken in enough to ever feel good on my feet.

I wish the shoes worked for me, they're so cute! Unfortunately, the major problem was that they wouldn't stay on my heel even though I know the size was right. I even tried putting heel grippers and they were still slipping off. Secondly, they weren't as comfortable as my other Dansko shoes have been so it was a bit disappointing. I would have kept the shoes if the heel would have been a bit narrower. Truly sad to send these back because they are adorable!

These shoes are so cool. I absolutely loved the way they looked with jeans. But I have to send them back. I have a bunion on one foot and these shoes hurt that bunion terribly within just an hour of wearing them around the house. So disappointing. Otherwise I think that they would be a comfortable shoe. If you have bunions, don't get this shoe.

I tried out these shoes for my 2nd pair of Danskos. I was so thrilled with the first pair of sandals, and I had high hopes for these. They did not work out. I wore them for about 45 minutes at my job where I'm on my feet. The toe bed tilts your toe upward up a bit, and it narrows too much for my foot. And the arch support didn't seem to hit my foot in the right place, and the height of the heel was too drastic for me. It was cool looking for Dansko, though!

The heel height is about an inch too high for me and pushes my toes forward and they get all squished and hurt. If you have narrow feet and can take a 3 inch heel-buy them, I really think they are great to look at. They run a bit large, so if you are in between sizes, go for the smaller size. They are comfortable otherwise with good support. Dansko please make two inch heels for me that are cool like these.

I love this shoe. However, one big flaw is that the "buttons" come out. I have returned one pair because 4 came out on one shoe. Now I have another pair and same thing is happening. I took them to a shoe repair and you cannot replace them. They would have to punch a hole and put in another replacement.

Let\'s start with the obvious; these shoes are hot. As for fit, my feet are equal in size, but I found that these two shoes were not. The left was slightly larger than the right (which I could adjust by using the extra snap), and the arch of the left was slightly higher than the right, making it a little uncomfortable. I found that they run about a half size big. Although I think I now have the right size, I\'m still not sure about fit; the heel slips when I walk, but the toe box feels crunched and tight. I will try having the toe box stretched before I despair. Also, I found that the snap not in use jangles audibly. Finally, they are fairly clunky to walk in--not the smooth natural gait of the original Dansko. But they\'re hot, right?

If you have a high instep you will not be able to wear this shoe. It crushed the top of my foot. Love the style and really wish I could have kept it. I did size down for length as my regular size flopped off my heel.
