Extremely comfortable shoes. I am in retail and needed a pair of black shoes that were easy to wear for an extended period of time. These are perfect!

These shoes are absolutely awesome! I suffer from plantar fasciitis, but I was able to wear these shoes straight out of the box. In fact, when I put them on, I felt totally different, like my feet were being gently hugged - and I felt like everything was in perfect alignment! Great arch support and very comfortable.

Feels like I'm wearing bedroom slippers! These shoes are so comfortable. However, as I found after doing some walking with them that the sole is firmer than I thought. I put in an extra heel support and they are perfect. (I give them one 4 ranking because of that.)

Love them. I am a loyal Dansko wearer and these shoes are by far the most comfy! They fit similar to a "sneaker" in the heel portion-very padded. They are a nice casual shoe for chinos or jeans. The adjustable velcro strap sits well on the top of my foot, as I have a bone spur I have to avoid! I got the charcoal nubuck - great color.

Really wanted these shoes but the size 40 was too small and the size 41 too large so returned both pairs. Usually wear a US women\'s 9.5 so don\'t understand the size problem. My size rating is for the 40. Good arch support.

For some reason, Dansko's sizing seems to be larger. This pair gave me a blister from high back and loose fit.

I love this shoe for work. There is one thing I don't love about it, however. The velcro wears out pretty fast. I haven't owned the shoe for more than a year and the right one needs to have the velcro replaced because it won't stay closed. Very annoying! I need a good work shoe that supports my feet because I stand all day. This shoe is perfect for me. I have high arches and usually need orthotics, but not with this shoe. The insole matches my foot structure perfectly!

These shoes took a few days to break in (and my feet definitely complained for these few days), but once broken in they are actually quite comfortable. They seem to be better standing than walking shoes, which is great for working in a cafe, though not as good for walking to work.

I ordered these in the Wine color, size 35. I liked the color and the overall style, but my toes were hitting the end of the shoe. This is surprising, because I wear a 35 in Dansko clogs, and can even fit into a 34. These seemed to run short. I'm sure the 36 would be too large, however, because European sizes are more of a range than an absolute size.

These shoes seem just a bit shorter in length than other Danskos, which is odd because when I hold them next to a pair of Professionals the new shoe is a bit longer. I wear a 9 to 9½ and got these in the 40. I didn't try it, but I'm sure the 41s would be too big. The black nubuck appears to be of a good quality. The bottoms are slip resistant. The velcro strap makes it easy to adjust them. I just won't be wearing them with heavy socks and only with jeans, given their casual styling.

I have the same exact shoe but with one strap. I usually wear a 38 for any Dansko but these were a little short. Even placed by my other shoe they are shorter. I am sending them back but getting the next size up! I can't wear regular Danskos but I love this style! I wear them at both jobs. A nurse and a flight attendant! My feet never hurt!

This shoe was the same size and same brand as the shoe that I am keeping. The shoe I am keeping was made in Italy. This shoe was made in China. Any connection to workmanship here? Of the two other shoes I ordered, both fit and both were made in Italy. JKR

I should have listened to other reviews. This shoe is cute, but the fit is very wide in the heel. As someone said, the arch fits in the wrong place. I had to return it.

Definitely runs short! I'm a 9.5 and ordered the 40 across a couple of brands and this is the onlyone too short. Insole was comfy but shoe is a bit heavy. Going back!

A long-time lover of Danskos but not this shoe. Was hoping it would fit like their Golden Gates but the footbed was totally different and everything hit in the wrong place. Still looking for a cute, flat, black Mary Jane.

So disappointed. Really wanted these shoes for a job interview. Even though I ordered larger than my regular size, they were short and my toes hit the end. Have to return them.

Toe box is much too low and will not be made up by ordering larger shoes. Dansko\'s purchased at the same time, as well as others I own, have a higher, comfortable toe box. Otherwise, they are an attractive shoe.

I was excited to order these shoes because of the reputation of Dansko, However, these shoes are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn! I will never purchase these shoes again! I work on my feet all day and my feet are sore. Velcro on straps is weak. Terrible!

I normally wear a size 41 (10-11) in Dankos clogs. This style is definitely to narrow and short in length.

My least favorite pair of Danskos ever. So disappointed. Not comfortable and don't like the style. Could be that I am still hoping for the loafers to come back. Don't like the straps, though. Very uncomfy.

This is a very comfortable mary jane style shoe with a nice touch regarding the design of the straps, making them both attractive and contemporary. Happy with this purchase!

I love these shoes from Dansko! I only wear Dansko due to plantar fasciitis problems, and as a doctor, I always recommend Dansko as well. This style is so cute, and I like the velcro tab. I like to just slip my foot in/out of shoes so I avoid buckles at all costs. The first thing I noticed about these shoes was the comfort. My foot just felt at home in these shoes. I also like this particular color because it is waterproof. I can wear for work, and on weekends when I bring my kids to all their activities. I would highly recommend this shoe. I would get the other colors if they had it in my size!

These shoes are very comfortable, cushiony, and cute. The diagonal straps are a nice touch compared to the regular mary jane strap. I wear a 38 in the clogs and these fit perfectly with no break-in period. As always Zappos customer service is awesome. Wish they had the wine in my size.

Very cute. I have narrow feet and an array of foot problems, and though I think these would be super comfy for many people, they just were not the right fit for me. My foot was sliding forward and my toes were pushing into the front of the shoe. I wish Danskos came in 12 narrow.
