Need a closed toe shoe for work and this is a nice compromise. Goes well with pants and dresses both. Feels a bit stiff and the straps are slightly scratchy but comfortable after a couple of days to break in. It does feel a bit smaller than the usual Dansko 39 size.

Excellent Zappos service again - thank you. Had to return this shoe though, as it felt a size smaller than marked. Am used to wearing size 37 in Dansko's closed heel clogs, but size 37 in this style felt too cramped across the toe area. It looked well made other than that.

These are great! Super comfortable and cute with skirts or pants. Though I wish Dansko hadn't changed their sizing (these are a little shorter than the 39s used to be, and I tried the 40s and they're too big), at least this season they have a pair of clogs with straps without those uncomfortable turned-up toes that they had last year.

The very similar Dansko Margrete were my everyday (literally) shoes in 2007-09. I had 3 pairs, one after another. I am an 11-11.5 depending on the shoe brand, and 42 was always perfect for me. Unfortunately, the Maeves, although an almost identical style to Margrete (now unavailable), must be very slightly smaller, because my toes are up against the end of the 42. And of course they don't sell a 43. Boooooo.

This shoe felt loose on my foot and seemed clunky. Also, there is less stability than I want since there are no sides. If you have flat feet or foot problems, this is probably not the shoe for you. Sending it back.

Dansko, what happened? You took my favorite shoe, got rid of the canvas style and leather style and now this tried and true style is fake leather! There are few comfortable options for people who want a covered toe summer shoe, and this was my standby. Unfortunately this new model is stiff and "clowny" looking. And fake leather. Please bring back the old model which was so great!

Cute style, excellent support, but too short. My toes were pushing up against the front of the shoe and this has never happened with any other Dansko clogs I've owned. Bummer.

This shoe is cute and comfortable in the arch, but narrow in the toe area for my wide feet. I also got blisters from the back strap and the strap on the inside of my foot after walking only 1 mile.

I have worn Dansko\'s for years. They recently changed their sizing and now I find that the 38\'s are a little snug. Beware, they are now 1\/2 size smaller.

This shoe was meant as a replacement for a Sanita model that was out of stock, and is my first Dansko shoe. As a small retail shop owner I spend 8-12 hours a day on my feet - after the first few days I was surprised by the general foot ache and achilles tendon stiffness I was suffering (I'm also a dancer so my achilles are pretty limber). I forgot they were not Sanitas because they in fact look very similar, but the arch support is remarkably less on the Dansko. After a day in my Sanitas I can still go on to dance class no problem...not so with Dansko!

I was surprised to read reviews of good arch support, and "lightweight". I found the Maeve to be quite heavy, even for Dansko, and not as good arch support as their clogs. The back strap also cut into the back of my heel. I usually wear 37s, but these were a little snug in the toes and short all-around. (My feet are average width). These are also made in China, so I'll be returning these! Bummed, because I've been wearing their clogs for years, and was hoping to find comfortable sandals still made in Italy.

I have been buying Dansko for years, this is the first pair that disappointed me. Too small, ankle strap to small and hits the ankle in an odd spot. Have had Dansko straps before, they were fine...these, not so much.

The reviewers were spot on regarding this particular style running small. It's smart to read the reviews before ordering! I normally wear a 38, but the 39 did provide more toe room. I have flat feet and find Danskos comfortable to wear for long periods of time. These will be one of two pairs of shoes I take to Europe this spring.

I love the color and comfort of this shoe. The round toe is a little "Dutch", but I will trade style for comfort in this case. They're a little wide, but since I wear them only with pants, I just wear a little heavier sock. I don't usually have luck with Danskos but do like these. I love Zappos though and always recommend them!

This shoe is really comfortable. The leather on the toe is hard, shiny, and looks beautiful. The leather on the back strap is softer, which makes the strap more comfortable. The shoe is also quite light, so it doesn't feel like you're clopping around like you do in some clogs. My only complaint is that the toe is very round, which isn't the most flattering shape, since it shortens the line of my leg. But they are stylish enough that I can wear them and not feel like I'm wearing those ergonomic walking shoes!

I love this shoe because it is so comfortable and can be worn with anything. Works well with tights so can wear into winter. I agree that it seems that the size is different from what 38 used to be. I'm not quite a 7 so all of my shoes are a 7. This is a very well made, cute shoe.

These are beautiful shoes. Very comfortable and just as cute and versatile as my old Dansko Margretes. These shoes are so worth the investment as a very active elementary music teacher. I did originally purchase size 37 and had to return them for 38's. I have a pair of professionals and a pair of Marcelles in 37, these however were a little tight in the toes. I am wide footed though. I was amazed that I ordered after 5 pm and received the new pair before 5 pm the next day. Zappos has unbelievable service!

I have been wearing Dansko's for many years, so of course I have the clogs, in brown and black, like everyone does. I also have some sandals for the summer. I needed a pair of black shoes for a funky outfit I was wearing to a wedding, and these Dansko's fit the bill, perfectly. They are comfortable and stylish, which I'm usually not. So they helped me out, quite a bit.

I love Dansko's! They are so comfortable, with arch support and soft soles. You can dress them up or down. And they last forever. I have taken them around the world with me!

These shoes are the perfect transitional shoes from warm weather to cooler weather. I get compliments on them whenever I wear them. For me, I wear the same size as my Dansko professional clogs. Plus, I had no issues wearing them right out of the box with no break-in period necessary.

Bought this pair for my trip to Spain & France. These shoes lived up to my expectation. My feet were so comfortable despite walking in them all day & night. Great arch support! Very cute, too!

I love these cute, chic clog-shoes! Perfect for teaching, I can stand in them for hours. I always get complimented on them. They're a little tight, and I always wear this size in Dansko, 38. Not sure how they'll fit when I succumb to tights. Overall, 5 stars though!

These shoes are stylish and comfortable. I wore them to my niece's wedding and was able to dance as much as I wanted without any discomfort. I strongly recommend them.

Freed from pain in my achilles at last! As a teacher, I often work 13 hour days and am on my feet constantly. I ordered this shoes and started wearing the first week of school. Already I have put many miles on my new Dankso Maeve shoes and my feet feel great! These shoes are stylish and perfect for the hot Florida summer weather.

I love these. I find them more comfortable than my Dansko Professionals, and that\'s saying something. I\'m going to order a second pair and try to wear them all winter, too.
