Great boot. As other reviewers have stated, I would go a 1/2 size up from your usual Ugg size. This boot provides the warmth and water resistance of a snow boot but is more versatile in styling. Comfortable, practical, sleek. Highly recommended.

Love this boot! Very comfortable right out of the box. Plenty of room to wear thick socks or add arch support...they will work out well for a rainy climate. Cute with skinny jeans and leggings. As usual, Zappos has made my shopping for shoes so easy, thanks for all your hard work!

I love this boot! I live in the Midwest where winter is brutal, I wanted a boot that was warm and functional but also cute enough to run around town with. If you want the boot to fit really close to your foot, I would say get a half size small but I will to wear wool socks so my actual size was perfect. They are really easy to get on and off which I love. They are not fully lined so you may want to wear high socks through where the zipper goes. I love these boots though and I think they are worth the money. The only reason I wouldn't give a 5 star review is because they are not fully lined though the zipper and you can feel a little amount of air zip through there on a windy winter day. Otherwise I would recommend this boots, I've gotten so many compliments almost every time I go out!

Really loved these boots - comfortable, warm and waterproof. BUT, the zipper broke within 2 years of their purchase with minimal wear. I tried to return to Ugg but I was just outside of their warranty. I ended up replacing the zippers.

I was a little hesitant to order these because of the price and some of the things said in the reviews. But, I waited too long and everything else was sold out of my size so I took a chance. I ordered the cognac color instead of the one I really wanted because they were cheaper. I am happy with them so far. I was worried about them being warm enough, because I live in Chicago and often have to stand outside at a bus stop. I wore them the first night to walk my dogs without socks. They kept my feet warm and dry and were comfortable. I'm wearing them today to work with just gym socks and my jeans tucked into them and I have no complaints. I am a little worried that the suede will get dirty but remind myself they're meant for utility, not style. That being said, they are definitely some of the most stylish snow/rain boots I've ever seen. I order a half size up because that seemed to be what a majority of the reviewers suggested. I think my feet would've fit in my normal size. However, I'm glad I ordered up because they're a little hard to get on with my higher arches and bigger claves. Also, the laces give plenty of room to zip up over my larger claves (contrary to what other reviewers suggested). They do take some time to get on though. The zipper does not always slide up easily and then I have to relace them so I can't just slip them on easily and go. I believe I will use them for both rain and snow. Because of the style, I will feel comfortable wearing them inside the office for the day, or out to dinner when it's crappy out. I'm satisfied with my purchase.

The zipper broke after a year. I really love these boots and will do anything to fix them; truthfully I love these boots for the winter and slush from being in Wisconsin. I even purchased another pair (have both black and brown). I don't own any Ugg products and hopefully Ugg will make a better design so that the zipper doesn't break again.

I bought these boots because I'm spending the winter in the Alps. Definitely cozy and stylish! My calves are between 16-17" in circumference and lacing up the front is a little tight---they don't close all the way, so if you have athletic calves, I would look elsewhere. These shoes don't hold up well on ice; I've slipped several times. They are very soft and warm as well as waterproof--I just wish they had better traction and a larger calf circumference. I also wish I had waited a week and bought them on sale.

I gave been eyeing these for awhile and finally got them last week from Zappos. In Chicago this year we have had no snow or much moisture to speak of at all but I was also in the market for good looking, unusual boots (everyone here wears Hunter and regular Uggs - yawn!). These definitely fit the bill. The quality is there and the comfort is really superior. I get what everyone is saying about how weird it is that the fleece stops above the ankle and starts again under your foot, but the problem (if you can call it that) is totally solved by wearing socks. They are very warm, very stylish and very utilitarian. At the sale price, I am very happy with my purchase. I did follow everyone's warnings, though, and ordered up half a size from my usual size.

Got this boot in Cognac as Christmas gift from hubby and they are BEAUTIFUL and so comfortable. Even though we have not gotten any snow this year in the Nation's Capital, but is cold I wore them several times. Please note, if you have small ankles, and one to fill the space you can wear short soft socks (medium thickness). I have socks to wear with boots and they sell them at some of the high end department stores. Anyway, the socks solved the problem.I noticed it when I tried them at the store but decided to buy them anyway. Once I got home and put the socks on the fit is perfect. So if you have no snow nor rain- you can still rock this boots. I get a kick out of people when I'm at the mall are their eyes goes straight to the boots. To me that says it all.

Lovely and luxurious rain boot and the compliments keep coming! They keep my feet warm and dry in the Pacific NW. So cozy it's like wearing a tall slipper all day. I wouldn't call this a snow boot necessarily. When it was 15 degrees and 8 inches of snow, I had to switch to my Sorels as my toes were getting cold. Love these boots!

These boots are great quality, so warm but very, very uncomfortable, heavy and bulky!

Absolutely love the shoe. Only some minor problems that I noticed. For one the zipper is pretty sensitive so don't pull too hard on it or it will come right off of the track. Secondly, dust glues itself to the shoe. I have found that once they get dirty they stay dirty. After about a week, my nice black boots stay at a blackish/greyish color that drives me crazy. Not even the UGGs cleaners can make that coat of dust stay away. Other than that, I still love my shoes. They have proved to be great everyday shows in Alaska.

I want to be in love with these boots, and I nearly am, only a few things hold me back from being drunk in love. Number 1 - they are quite baggy around the ankle. I am very worried that they will only get larger since they will stretch. #2 - the wool is only part way down. #3, they feel way bigger than any other 9.5 I have and they were sold out of the 9s, so I am stuck. I ordered the black ones in a 9, way better fit, but hate the color, so they are going back.

I bought a pair of these in December 2011 to replace my favorite, discontinued Belfairs. The next winter season, the zippers started buckling around the ankles. In other words, the boots were slouching around the ankles, affecting the zipper and the teeth of the zippers started to bend. This winter, at around the two year anniversary of the boot's expensive purchase, one of the zippers gave way and separated. I am very sad and disappointed. I need these boots to last more than two winters at this price. There really is a design flaw but the Ugg warranty is only for the first year!

The zipper on the shoe gets caught in the fur and over time the design of the shoe tends to slouch because of the nature of the zipper. However it is very cozy and warm during winter months. The contraction is great (I know this because I tested them out going to and from classes in upstate NY) and is water resistant to a certain degree... but there is very minimal arch support. I got mine on sale, but these shoes are definitely not worth the cost.

Really wanted to love these boots, but I'm sending them back. The 6.5 was a little short and my toes felt squashed, and the heel slipped. Plus, the calf wasn't wide enough (my calf is 14 inches). I loved the color (brownstone) and the materials overall, but I can't see how they could be warm in a winter climate because the sole bed is thin, not much cushion or warmth from what I could tell. Too bad, they looked great on the website.

A little bulky around the ankle. Very tight on the calves which I like and I have small calves. The fit in the foot area felt a little uneven and tight for extended wear & since I was looking for a practical snow boot, I returned them. If looking for something more stylish that you don't need to hike miles through snow in, these could be fine. I however did not like the look, found it unfeminine looking and made my foot look long. I got my shoe size which is 7.5, but probably would need the size 8. Definitely order a half size up.

Zipper started to act up on the first month of purchasing the boots and now barely two months latter the zipper broke! Should not happen with a pair of boots at this price. Poor quality. And I saw a girl walking walking around with the same boots unzipped, wondering why?

I loved these boots when I first got them. However I was very very disappointed when I wore them outside. I live in New York City, and we have experienced some extreme temperatures lately. This includes very cold weather and lots of snow. When I wore these boots when it was extremely cold outside my feet we're not warm. My toes especially were freezing! These boots are definitely not waterproof. I don't think they're being advertised as waterproof. Recently while walking through the snow and slush the inside of my boots have been damp. Not worth the investment! I will be placing them into retirement. I will be purchasing another pair of boots which will not only keep my feet warm, but also dry!

Nice boot but because UGG decided to skimp on the sheepskin inside by only adding it from just above the ankle and up it causes the boot to sag around the ankle. NOT A VERY NICE LOOK FOR SUCH AN EXPENSIVE BOOT!

First off, Zappos is the best. They have insanely fast shipping and a no hassle return policy. As far as these Uggs go, I would give them negative five stars if I could. Everyone thinks Uggs are made in Australia; not so. You might be as shocked as I was to find what country these boots are made in. If I wanted boots made in such a country, I would be shopping at a discount store. The quality is simply not there; the bottoms are made of rubber and are glued to the rubber uppers. The extremely small patch of leather is thin and single stitched to the rubber uppers. The inside lining is supposed to be sheepskin, but it is so extremely thin that it is almost not there at all. Ugg boots are made in ... Ugg boots are extremely low quality; Ugg boots are extremely over priced. I have no idea how this company stays in business. I have bought my first and last pair of Uggs >=(

NOT for BIG CALVES! I was so sad when these arrived and they didn't fit. They look and feel amazing! However, they are definitely not for people who need extended calf sizes. I'm 5'8'' and 155, but have have athletic calves and these weren't even close to fitting. If you don't have this problem, buy these boots! They are the most stylish winter boots I've seen and are super soft and warm... just can't tie them up all the way.

Oh no this was bad, they ran small and the loop on the boot broke as I was putting them on for the first time. I ordered a 7 and 7 1/2 they were both too small. I usually wear a 7. For the price I expected high quality. disappointed. These also are narrow. The style looks nice but the quality is poor! Bummed out.

Slippery! The reviews for these boots were good. I bought them and the first day I wore them I fell and bust my bum! The bottom of these boots are no good for snow, rain, slush or even (no way) black ice. I wear them on dry days. So buyer beware! These are strictly for cold dry days. They're warm, but you will bust your butt! An possibly hurt yourself!

UGHHH, these are THE WORST boots I've ever had! They were just too perfect for me!! And it's annoying! I've never had such comfortable shoes in my life and they make me feel like a fool for spending money on other shoes! I regret having such a great experience in them and I wish I could have my money back and spend it on Payless crappy ones! UGH! I will definitely KEEP BUYING from these brand from now and on! DISGUSTING! Lol!
