This was my first pair of Uggs and while I am normally a size 7 1/2, I ordered up a half size and purchased an 8. I have no problem getting these Uggs on or off. They seem to be true to size. They are extremely warm and I think they're one of the more attractive Uggs on the market. The only problem I have with the Montclair is that the backs of my feet hurt all the time when I wear them. It seems like they're always jabbing that sensitive bone on the back of your foot. I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but it's one of the main reasons I don't wear them all the time. I hope that once the shoes get more "worn in," they will be more comfortable.

I love my boots and Zappos is the best. I have referred several of my friends to Zappos for any items you need...way to go Zappos.

Whatever you do order a size up!, but they are the most awesome Uggs yet! These are my 3rd pair of Uggs! I love them! My feet were warm and comfy!

Really nice boots but being that I have a high instep, they were impossible to get on. I gave them away to my step daughter.

After reading the reviews, I ordered my regular size. It came right away (thanks, Zappos!) but was a little too big. I then ordered one size smaller and it was perfect. To get the boots on the first few times, get a long shoe horn; they'll slip right on. I had one about 2 feet long from Ikea that really helped. Love the boots!

I love these boots! They are so warm and comfy. This is my third pair of Uggs - I also own the Classic Tall and the Sundance II. I love these! The quality of the materials and craftsmanship is so high. I will say, they were hard to get on and off the first two or three times I wore them. As with all Uggs, they loosen up a bit after wearing them, and that makes it easier to get them on and off now. It was a serious struggle, but after I had them on they were so comfy I didn't want to return them, so I let it go. Now they go on and off with no problem. They look great tucked into jeans, or with leggings. They are true to size. I got the size 8, which is my normal size and they fit perfectly. Love these boots!

Love the color and the fit. A little snug getting the boot on at first, but still love it. Wear a size 7.5 ordered the 8 and it fits nicely.

These are so cute with everything! Very comfortable but don't order a size down like with regular Uggs they are true to size. Keep your feet really warm only wish I could wear them in the snow!

I debated about buying these boots due to my large calves. I was worried I would not be able to tuck my pants into them. I also read the reviews, and was sad to hear that they were hard to get on. Well I was pleasantly surprised when I received them and they were perfect! They fit over my calves and they weren't too bad to get on. I ordered my true size which is an 8, and they fit a little big, but with some thicker socks they were perfect. These are my first pair of Uggs and I was not disappointed!

All I can say is so cute! Theses are great boots. I am in love. I also own the Ugg cuffs in black and sand as well (which are gorgeous too) but these are so functional. I am not sure why other reviewers had a hard time getting them on. I did not have that at all. I ordered and 8 and I got them on very easy. Maybe if you have larger calves they would be an issue...not sure. Anyway, they are beautiful and so plush!

I'm very frustrated with Ugg's sizing. I know to order a half size down in the classic Ugg styles because they run large, but this one runs really small! People who want the Montclair should know that the 10 runs big and the 9 runs small. It also feels more stiff than my other Uggs, and the sole is different, too. Hope it helps.

Love these. These were my seventh pair of Uggs. Wanted something different, and a little more durable, as I walk a lot and the Classic Talls don't really hold up - I have worn through the toes of my black ones and the grey is not far behind! So these are a more structured boot, "harder" on the outside, but with the same wonderful sheepskin lining, etc. Plus they are super cute and look incredible with skinny jeans and leggings. Totally thrilled with them, and recommend them wholeheartedly. I take a 7 in the other Ugg styles, ordered the 8 in these per reviewers' advice...perfect! No trouble getting them on and off for me.

I saw these boots on Zappos and absolutely fell in love with them, because they do not look like the conventional Uggs that come a dime a dozen. I did eventually purchase them, and I absolutely love them! For me, they are a bit tight to get on and they are snug, but I can tell that they won't slouch like the classic Uggs tend to do over time. There is enough room in them to wear them with skinny jeans, and the color I got (sand) is perfect, because it will match anything I wear. I would, however, definitely recommend buying the stain and water repellent if you are buying them in this color, because winter weather is not so forgiving on boots like these.

I purchased this product as a gift for my 18 year old grand daughter who lives with me. It was one of her long time wishes to own a pair of UGGS. Zappos was the only retailer I found a size 12 in. Watching her joy and the rush to see how the boots looked on her feet became a show stopper on Christmas morning. To my dismay the boot was extremely difficult to get on. It took two adult persons pulling on the boot to assist her in getting through the throat of the boot. After about 30 minutes she (we) got it on. She says that it wears like a comfortable glove now and is easy to get into too since the initial breaking in. She loves them and they look great. Well worth the initial breaking in hours.

Received these boots as a gift and wasn't too sure about them, but tried them on and loved them! So cute and comfortable! As others have said, order up, I wear an 8 1/2, but the 9s fit perfectly.

Love, love, love these Uggs. Fit perfectly for people with larger calf muscles. I ordered them 1/2 size larger than normal and fit was great (Normally a 7.5, ordered an 8). Other Uggs I have had to order in smaller sizes. These were pretty true to size.

These boots are very comfortable and stylish. I am normally an 8.5 and initially bought an 8 but had to return to get the 9 so I would advise anyone to order a half size up!

These are my second pair of uggs, I wanted a black pair and these are just prefect, they did not need to be broken into they were comfortable right out of the box, were a little pricey but they all well worth it, Zappos customer service is by far the best, they helped me pick these ones, thanks Zappos you are the best!

I bought these as a gift. I thought Zappos would be your run of the mill super vendor who sucks. However, I was quite surprised by their dedication to customer service. I ordered the wrong size by accident. Only realizing after they had shipped, and they changed my order as it was being sent at no extra charge!

The boots are true to size and are very comfortable, stylish and warm. They are just a little hard to get on.

Very cute boot. Hard to get on the first couple of times. Sizing up is better because it will make for smooth getting on and off. Very comfortable boot. The shoes strings are not good though...already shredding with usage. I can see them wearing out after a dozen wears.
