I just ordered this boot along with the Ugg Tall Classic, so I've been wearing them around the house and comparing. They are two different concepts completely: The Ugg Classic fits and feels more like a slipper. The footbed is soft, they slip on and off easily, and you can tell the suede will have a hard time standing up to heavy snows over a long period of time. This Greenfield, on the other hand, is a hefty boot! The suede outer is very stiff, and it is a few inches taller than the Classic. I am 5'7" and 125 lbs. and don't have particularly thick calves, but it is definitely a tight zip in the middle section. I have plenty of room around the ankles and particularly at the top. As other reviewers mentioned, this boot does have a clunky aspect, and the footprint looks bigger than your actual foot. Also, these are really made for tucking your (thin) pants into them, or wearing short pants/skirts. Unlike Classic Uggs, you really can't pull your pants over these to look like shoes - they are just too bulky. Also unlike Classic Uggs, I found these to be true to my size. In normal shoes I wear an 8/8.5 and in Classics I wear a 7. These were a true 8 - I tried the 7 and my toes were touching the front uncomfortably. I got the Espresso color and it's quite a dark brown, which it doesn't show up as on my computer here on the Zappos site. I haven't decided which to keep, as the craftsmanship on this boot seems much better, and I think it will last a long time, just might not be as practical as the Classic. Both are nice!

The Greenfield is one of the tallest Ugg boot, sleek, and so beautiful. The toe area is stiff, for this I purchase a larger size 9, all of the other styles that have a soft toe area with lots of give, and I take a smaller size 8. The Greenfield is dressier than other boots, very comfortable and beautiful.

Too cute! This is my 4th pair of Uggs. All of my other ones are the classic kind. I have narrow 6.5 size feet and the size 6 has always fit perfect. I am so glad that I read the reviews and got the 7 in this style. They fit perfectly. As mentioned, they are a lot stiffer than the classic kind (shaft and sole). However, still very warm and comfy. Love them with skinny jeans/long fitted T/scarf!

I wear a size 10. I have a narrow foot so I got a size 9. I love these boots. They have a nice snug fit on the leg that makes me feel secure and comfortable in these boots. If you have bigger calves this may not be for you. I am 5 ft 9 in. I am 185 pounds so that may help you decide if this boot is too tight a fit or just the right snug fit as for me. I also don't wear socks with this boot they are made to keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Also you allow the boot to shape to your foot so it is best not to wear socks with them. But overall this is an excellent buy and worth every penny!

I absolutely love these boots! I have 5 pairs of Uggs, two Tall Classics, one Ultra Tall, one Mayfaire, and now the Greenfield. The Greenfield are my favorite! I was a little worried when I read these previous reviews stating the boots would not fit bigger calves. I also read another review that said "not recommended for wide calves." Not that my calves are huge but they are athletic and my right is bigger than my left. So when I tried these on, I wore skinny jeans and I had no trouble whatsoever getting these boots zipped. I was so happy I could not believe it! I could not get the Ugg Broome or the Ugg Knights Bridge zipped last year and the Greenfield fit perfectly! They are super sharp looking and I love how tall they are. I'm 5'8" and my Tall Classics come up to mid calf on me. These Greenfield boots stop just below my knee and look great with anything! I highly recommend to girls out there who may not the skinniest calves because I sure as heck do not.

Very cute but I'm 5'3" and these were too tall for me...they came up to my knees and the shaft was a little wide. I looked funny. But they were super cute...just not for me.

Too big. I have the classic UGG style size 11 which fit perfect not too big/too small but these IMO run big. I also have normal size calves but the shaft on this boot was also too big. Other than the sizing issue it's a very nice looking boot. Had to return.

Purchased these boots and I love them!True to size, I wear an 8, ordered the 8. Zappos has the best customer service! I will be a customer for life. Thanks Zappos.

These are my first pair of Uggs and I love them. I was excited to get these boots because the shaft was tall and the description stated that the shaft circumference was 17". I have pretty large/muscular calves and have a hard time finding boots that fit, so I picked these up. The circumference is not 17" (except maybe on the outside), but with a bit of effort I was able to zip them up (with leggings on too, my calves are about 16" around). I feel that they will most likely stretch a bit and give a bit more room and not be so snug, but I love them nonetheless!

I love these boots! Thank you Zappos! I have other Ugg boots but this one is my favorite. I love everything, the zipper makes it easy to put on.

I love these boots! I bought both these and the Ugg Ultimate Talls and much prefer these. They are very tall, almost to the knee; and have a more streamlined and sleek look than other Uggs I've owned. I have muscular calves and had no problem getting these zipped with jeans underneath. I like them so much I am thinking about buying another pair in black.

I love these Uggs! I wear them all the time with my skinny jeans and they fit perfectly and are so comfortable. I normally wear size 8.5 but order size 8's in Uggs and they are a good fit. I know they are not cheap but they are worth every penny.

I ordered these wanting a more casual boot to wear with tucked in leggings or jeans and these fit the bill. So comfortable! No problem with the zipper not zipping all the way. Fit the calf perfect even tucked in to jeans. Zappos is the best. Ordered on the 28th. Received on the 30th just in time for my birthday.

Gorgeous boots! I will try very hard to avoid ruining them with road salt. These boots are well-made and fit beautifully. Unlike most boots I've tried, the tops are gently snug. They are worth the money and I'm hoping to enjoy them for many years to come.

I love these boots. Very tall and comfortable, and look very stylish. They are a little tight in the calf, and my calf is 15" around. That is the only thing I caution on. Otherwise an excellent purchase. I get a ton of compliments on them.

I love these boots! I went from the classic tall to this style and it was absolutely an upgrade. They are true to size for the most part: I'm a 6 1/2 and the 6 in these fit perfectly. I like that they are more structured than the classic's. I would buy another pair.

After years of holding out I finally decided to give in and buy a pair of Uggs. I live in a cold climate and needed a boot to keep me warm while I took the kids to and from school and activities, ran errands, etc. I went to a local store and tried on several pairs of Uggs but nothing felt right. I finally found a pair I liked but wished they had a zipper to make them easy to get on/off. I went home and looked on Zappos which has a great selection and found my perfect pair. I have been wearing these for about a month now and have no complaints. They are very warm and very comfortable.

I bought these boots following double foot surgery. I needed something that zipped all the way down with a relatively flat sole. I wanted a warm, comfy knee high boot that would not flap around on my rather skinny calves. These boots are perfect! I have never owned a pair of Uggs before these (and since I generally don't like the style, probably won't get a different pair), but these certainly fit the bill and fit great with my skinny jeans and cords! Plus, they arrived in less than 4 days!

I absolutley love this boot! I looked at every Ugg boot Zappos has and went with this one. I love how it is tall and has a zipper. It is more fitted and sexier than original the original bulky Uggs. I wanted to get something not everyone already has. I ordered the 7, I am a 7½. And it was too small. I got the 8 delivered the next day and I am still wearing them! Go for it, you will be glad you did!

Let me just say, that I love these boots. I previously had the ultra boot with the hard sole. These feel so much fancier. They are so comfortable. I did measure around my calf before I bought them and they do feel snug, but I think that is how they are intended to be. Also, the only way they can be worn with my boot cut jeans is with the pants leg bunched up on the top of them. the pants fit around them, but it just looks weird. I also wear and 8.5 and ordered the 9 and it fits great. So order up if you have questions.

My husband bought me this pair of boots as a replacement to my Classic Tall's, which I'd worn through the suede above the big toe. These are sturdier and more structured, and the shaft is quite a bit taller, which is great for me since I'm 5'10" (the Classic Tall's always seemed a little short on me). I got a 10, and they seem a little big, but my toe touched the front in the size 9s. I'm planning to use a merino arch support insert. The leather is gorgeous! They are a little bulky, but I think once broken in a bit I won't notice it. These look great with skinny jeans and a sweater. The winters in MN won't be quite so bad this year!

I am actually surprised by how pleased I am with this boot. I selected the "espresso" color, mostly by default, and I really couldn't believe how beautiful they were when I pulled them out of the box. They are incredibly warm, and the fit is extremely comfortable. I was worried when I read some of the other reviews, but I have had absolutely no problem with the fit of these boots. I love the feel of Uggs, but hate the way the classics look, and these are a wonderful alternative. Purchase without fear, ladies! I am a 7.5 and I ordered a 7.

To my wide-calf girlfriends--- I have attempted 10 different pairs of boots, selecting those with positive wide-calf reviews. My 16" calf was way too big for this supposed 17" circumference. I couldn't zip them the whole way. To clarify, I have bony feet, average ankles and knees, but a really wide spot in my calves. also, my foot is wide across the ball. Try the Ugg Ultra Tall or Belcloud instead. Also, the Frye Heath Outside Zip, Heath Tall Riding and Maxine Tramputo Harness all worked for me. It will take some stretching for my jeans to tuck comfortably in to the Fryes, but the high quality leather will definitely stretch.

It's a beautiful boot, but sadly didn't fit my 16.5" calves, even though they're supposed to have 17" circumference. Had to return them. But for those who have normal calves, buy them! They're really great looking boots.
