I just purchased these shoes in black while in Cocoa Beach, Fla on a cruise. I knew when I saw the shoes on the shelf they were going to feel good on my feet and they did. The cushion helps to keep your feet from feeling like you're walking on concrete. I love them and I couldn't wait to get back home and look them up on the internet. A little pricey for summertime sandal, but well worth the money. I'm looking to buy a second pair.

This is a great shoe for those of us who need narrow shoes. I think it runs a little narrow and the adjustable strap is amazing! The velcro straps held as I walked around so they seem sturdy. I could customize this shoe to fit the width of my narrow feet. I typically wear an 11.5N in closed toe shoes and 11N in open toe shoes. I ordered this shoe in size 10-11 and it wasn't long enough for my feet. I hope Zappos get this shoe in a 11-12 because I really would love to purchase and keep this shoe! In terms of comfort, the shoe is cushy and supportive. As a teacher, I am always on the hunt for low heeled, comfortable, "teacher appropriate" shoes. I usually am not a fan of patent as I think it looks cheap. However, it works with this slide. I am definitely going to be trying some of the other La Plume style shoes if they are adjustable.

True to size. My job has me on my feet for most of my eight hour work day. These sandals are comfortable, my feet are not fatigued after a full work day. Love the adjustable velcro.

I ordered this specifically as slippers. I had been looking for leather sandals to wear as slippers and these were perfect. I also ordered them in two other colors to save in case they are discontinued, as my old "slippers" were. Very comfortable.

Never disappointed in a LaPlume! The most comfortable and attractive shoe I have ever owned! I am so happy with the Paola, I keep looking at my feet to make sure I do not have bedroom slippers on...so comfortable. Black patent is lovely! This pair (I have 10 different colors/styles on my shelf) is an answer to prayer, literally. So thankful I found them!

Beautifully stylish shoe that provides very cushy comfort. I love the feel and the fact that it alleviates the "achy" feet that I often deal with. Real craftsmanship! I'd definitely recommend.

I have a wide foot and a high arch which makes shoes purchases very challenging. I found these shoes at a boutique in Fair Hope, Alabama. They are extremely comfortable and my feet do not hurt even after walking long distances in them. They have a velcro closure that allows you to adjust the tightness on top of your foot. I wear a 9-1/2 and bought a size 40. I'm very happy with this purchase.
