I am very happy with this shoe. I have been wearing the Nimbus 11 for the past year and this shoe is much lighter and offers a better cushion and support. Zappos outdid themselves by shipping overnight when I had requested 3 day shipping. I couldn't be happier!

Bought these for walking (recommended by physical therapist to get running instead of walking sneaks). I love these comfortable right out of the box. The only weird thing is they have a strange smell to them (have heard others talk about this with different shoes but have never experienced myself). I have worn a lot know walking on hard indoor floors and outdoors and do not have any pain feet, legs or calves.

An update on my previous review, after running in these shoes again, I didn't feel that my foot was being pushed toward under-pronation anymore. Guess it just takes a little breaking in.

I would like this shoe to be a little lighter, but they are cushioned well and I don't mind the off center lacing at all. My heels slip a little, but I have this problem with all shoes because my heels are very narrow. The only drawback is that it seems like they overcompensate a little for over-pronaters. My gait is neutral, so I feel like my feet want to lean towards under-pronating. This is probably the ideal shoe for a runner who over-pronates, and that is who it is recommended for, so there you go. Also, I always have to order half a size larger with Asics. I'm normally an 8.5, so a 9 was perfect!

If you're a serious runner do not buy these shoes! I splurged and got these over my Asics. Compared to the less expensive Asics, the gel kinetic did not hold up as long. They wore out very quickly, resulting in shin splints and irritation of a hip flexor injury. I'm really disappointed in Asics for making such an expensive and low quality product. However, I will continue to purchase the less expensive models, that i have been purchasing for the past seven years and that have never let me down.

I was unhappy with these shoes. I have run for decades and ran for half of these years in Asics. The shoes did not seem to live up to the claim of rebound nor and felt similar to running in flip flops. I don't write reviews but felt compelled.

Great shoe! I used to get knee pain after walking and no longer do with the Asics Gel Kinetic 3. Best shoe I have ever owned. Zappos as always is the best.

Love, love, love these shoes. Bought them as a running shoe, they are so comfortable and provide great stability. Thinking about buying another pair just to keep in the closet as a back up pair.

This is an amazing shoe! Great stability and maximum comfort! I bought them to replace my original GEL-Kinetic and these are just as great as the first generation!

I bought these to replace a pair of Nikes that were actually hurting my feet. Will never buy Nike again. I'm now a forever faithful Asics fan. These are great! I have narrow feet with a high arch. Great support and super comfy. I like that the heel feels 'wide'. It feels like I can't rotate, which is good. I will buy again! Thanks Asics!

Extremely cushiony and supportive but had to return. As another reviewer mentioned, it's as if there is a design flaw on the top part of the shoe where a piece of material runs from big toe to the bottom of the laces. On one of the shoes, it really put pressure on the top of my big toe and that was just walking around the house to try them out. I see in the newest model (GEL-Kinetic 4) that piece of material is not part of the design.

I couldn't wait to get these running shoes as they are absolutely adorable looking and have received good reviews. However, as soon as I put them on, I knew they were going back. In my opinion they have a design flaw in that the leather accent strip that goes across the top is very hard. In fact, when I first put them on, I kept thinking that a piece of cardboard was still left in the shoe. It was very uncomfortable for such expensive footware.
