Love these! Decently true to size. If you run large I suggest going half a size down. With the insert they get much smugger and fit just fine but are slightly lose without; nothing bad though. Altogether great and satisfied.

This pair of Uggs holds it's own, even up against the the toughest boots on the market from Frye to Red Wing. The rugged lightweight Ugg boot has a nice leather upper that's breaks in easy, durable sole and soft signature Ugg fur lining. For the price you can't beat the boot, it's comparable to anything I've owned over the years. Unlike other boots I would suggest buying this one true to size; I wear a size 9 shoe and with a nice wool sock, the Uggs fits perfectly. Would be nice to see a vibram sole just for name recognition and superior durability.

These are comfortable boots. I have not worn them in the rain. I do not use the extra insert as that makes the boots too tight. I am flat footed yet have no problems with the arch support in the boot as wearing them causes me no pain. I found them best used around town and especially on cold and windy days. I live in Oklahoma and on days with windchill dropping temperatures into the 20°s, they feel extra warm. These do not seem intended for hard core hiking, or for camping out. They seem best for cold days where warmth, comfort and some fashion are desired. These would be great for after a day on the slopes, going out for some beverages with friends, or just walking about town. Again, if you want hard core outdoor boots, these are not for you.

These boots very definitely run a size too small, even with only one insert in them as intended. I got my husband, who wears a 9/9.5 (but usually 9.5) a size 9.5/Euro 42 for Christmas. To our great disappointment, he couldn't get them on. He has a moderately, but not insanely, high arch and he couldn't get his foot around the corner. He managed with great difficulty to eventually force one on, and said the footbed felt about right, but there was no way we could keep them. But he liked them so much we seriously considered taking them to the shoemaker and asking him to install a zipper! Luckily we met someone who had done the same thing - usually wears a 10/Euro 43 - and took them off his hands. They go on well and he says the footbed feels like the right size, though we suspect in short order he'll add the second insert to keep things cozy. So unless your foot is made of rubber, we recommend ordering a half size up. The boots are beautiful, and my husband has been grinning and not removed them, even in the house, since we got them. He's not a particularly vain guy. He'd usually be happy in a pair of work boots, but he loves the combination of practicality (they feel so good and warm) and that they look good. We're living in Europe, where men dress a bit more than in the U.S., and he feels like he could wear them both places. Of note: the top of the foot isn't lined, just the ankle and footbed, so they're not quite as slipper like as some other Uggs. Clearly, that hasn't dampened this customer's enthusiasm.

The boots are comfortable and attractive until the exterior leather tops of the feet become scuffed. At that point you have the upper toe leather exposed as a light tan in sharp contrast to the brown veneer on the boots. So the point is that if you go down on bent knee in pursuit of something you drop under a table, it is best to squat, preventing the top of the boot from making contact with the floor surface. I suggest a full size larger, as indicated by other reviews, these boots are bit of a struggle to get on, and once on a very snug/tight fit.

Fantastic looking boot, very comfortable, my only complaint is that I have a high arch and it's difficult to get my foot into. Not the end of the world but not ideal either. I like the boots so much I'm keeping them anyway.

I bought a pair because UGG's description stated that, "water-resistant boot with waterproof full-grain leather upper..." let me tell you, my feet got very wet when I step into wet snow and water, they are not water resistant.. get a pair of rubber boots instead.
