I've been wearing Keen's for years. It's all I'll wear because I love comfort. My girlfriend made me buy these particular shoes as a more dress up/yet casual thing. They look and feel great.

Recently got these from somewhere else. Great pair of shoes no squashed toes, feet are comfortable, very little break-in needed.

I love all my Keen shoes. These replaced a pair of Portsmouth’s that finally wore out after several years. I like the look of these better and they will be more versatile for travel, but I think the Portsmouth’s are a little more comfortable. These cut into your ankle ever so slightly, whereas the Portsmouth’s have a rim of padding.

Saw this shoe at a high end department store tried it on and the fit was great. Most comfortable shoe I've wore in a longtime. Immediately ordered through Zappos. I Like Zappos prices, turnaround and return policies.

I ordered these shoes for my husband on a Sunday and received them on Tuesday! We both have the Keen sandals and I have the Keen oxfords for winter wear, and thought he might enjoy a pair for work. I was right, he loves them! They are comfortable, durable and look fantastic with jeans or work gear. Zappos is awesome. I never have to worry when I order from you!

This is a substantial shoe with a stiffer, walking-shoe-type sole compared with other Keen's I've owned. The high volume and shaped footbed are on par with a good hiking shoe. I find the light side stitching to be superfluous. I am a bike commuter who wears these daily to the office, and for pedaling, the stiffness is actually a good thing. Initially, the tongue was quite stiff at the top and dug into my shin/foot crease, but that softened and resolved itself within a week's wear. Best with thick socks, which, as a thick-footed person, is rarely an option. Very pleased.

These are ultra-comfortable. I have a neuroma that is easily bothered, and wear orthotics in most of my shoes. But these are so comfortable that I can wear them without orthotics and my feet feel great. Nice wide toe box. Great fitting arch. Love the style. Zappos service great as usual.

Keens are the only shoe that I\'ve found to keep my feet warm. I\'ve worn Birkenstocks for years but am giving them up for Keens.

These shoes are perfect. We tried another pair of Keens and the heel dug in. Zappos fabulous return policy allowed us to get just the right shoe. We live on an island in the Pacific Northwest, so shop a lot online. Zappos is hands down the best online business we have dealt with. Your customer service, delivery, products, etc. is supreme. Thank you!

These shoes fit great and look great. The tread is great. The leather inside is nice and smooth; they are extremely comfortable, yet can be worn to work. My only problem is that the flap at the bottom where the eyelets begin sometimes gets folded up on the inside, since it is only stitched down on the outside. Oh, and one of the shoes' tongue always seems to end up crooked. It must have gotten broken in that way somehow? I love these shoes, nevertheless.

Great shoe! Fit perfectly. No break in time needed, wore the first weekend received and walked 16 miles in 3 days wearing them while on vacation.

The length is true to size as is the width. Not the most comfortable fit but it seems to be getting better as I break in the shoes. I'm used to slip-ons so that may be the reason.

I especially liked these for that 'steampunky' look and after wearing them in for a few weeks, they really start to fit the bill. I love their saddle-worn look as it only improves the more I wear them. Imagine that! Shoes that look better and better over time. The first day, they felt great! But the second day, I had some blisters form on the back of my heels due to rather bothersome little points at the top of the heels of the shoes. It took a solid week of careful walking-only activity to wear them in (and heal me up), but now that's over with and they are feeling great.

Love the shoe, as usual! The only caveat is that I have found the back of the shoes to be a bit high and stiff for my Achilles tendon. It took a few days and some repeated manual flexing of the offending area to loosen then up enough to be comfortable. Great shoes, look sharp, as per expectations. My experience with Keen has always been great, the stiffness and height of these shoes was a bit unexpected.

I really wanted these shoes to be as wonderful as my last pair of Briggs, but they rubbed the back of my heel so badly that I have to send them back. I wore them in the house for a few hours, hoping that they would get more comfortable, but no luck. Sadly, I'll be returning these.

These Keens are not as comfortable as the similar Keen shoes I purchased two years ago. I feel as if they have cheapened their product.

Great looking shoe, size seems good; however, my husband has been wearing them off and on for a couple months and has to stop wearing them after a few days because of open blisters on his heel, not like his other Keens!

For me, the Alki cut into my ankle as opposed to the Finlay which is well padded around the ankle. So I zapped the black Alki for a black Finlay. My foot is somewhat narrow and the Finlay (and Alki) only is offered in a medium width, so I put a thin Dr. Scholl's pad under the Keen insole and the fit is great. Also, because the toe is wide and the sole is thick both the Alki & the Finlay are not ideal for driving a car with a manual transmission.

This is my third pair of Keen's. I've loved the first two pairs, boots and another pair of shoes because they were so comfortable. It's as if they were custom made to fit me. Unfortunately, the sides of these shoes are too stiff and hit the sides of my feet just below the ankle bone. I believe they'll be fine after a little time to get them broken in. But truth be told, I probably should have returned this pair for a different one when I first tried them on.

Really uncomfortable for me...the lack of padding in the back cuts into my achilles heel. Also they seemed a bit hard to tie and pull tight. I'll go back to the Keen Austin...those things rock!

Excellent arch support and true to size. This might be because it is a lace-up.

I purchased the Alki for a comfortable fit reasonably light town shoe for travel and local use. This shoe served me well on a recent trip. I look forward to using in for casual wear. I did not need to size up or down as is often the case with Keen.

I have been buying Keen shoes for years and this is the first pair that I have had to return. The problem is that the heel is very stiff and thin with no padding to speak of. It caused persistent pain in my right heel, which I believe was from pressing the gas pedal in the car. I figured the shoes just needed to break in but after several months I have seen no indication that they will get any more comfortable. On another note, I tried these on in a local store before buying and found, as others have pointed out here, that the shoes do run about half a size too big.
