This is very similar to my all time favorite style of Keen slip ons, which they no longer make. My usual size fit fine except there is very little stretch for sliding your feet in and I could barely get one foot in the shoe. The strap across the top has no elastic; there is one tiny elastic wedge at the opening. I'm trying a larger size just in case but I must say the tightness around the top of the foot was very disappointing. A little elastic in the right places would have solved the problem.

Unfortunately, the instep was way too tight. The shoe is very cute, in fact I liked the way it looked better in person than in the picture (brown was deeper, sharp details on the trim). But, I could hardly get my foot in it. Even though this is the exact size of the Keen sandals I wear daily. Got them on with the help of a shoe horn, but they were so uncomfortable (on the instep) that I couldn't wear them at all.

Okay, so the color "Madder Brown" is really plum, so keep that in mind. They have what in Dansko-speak is known as the "oil rubbed finish", not my favorite because it really shows marks easily and immediately. I have been looking for a Dansko replacement that allows my heel to slip but is less tippy and more-rock friendly than Danskos. These could be the shoes but the instep is super super tight. I have almost completely flat feet and the getting into these shoes is almost impossible. So if you have an arch of any kind be prepared. The instep is really tight, I mean really tight, like might-make-my-foot-numb tight. But I am in the right size. And my heel slips, which I wanted but many may not. If the instep were to stretch out a bit, these could be my go-to shoes but right now they are not.

Now I know how Cinderella's stepsister felt when she tried to cram her large potato feet into the glass slipper! While this isn't nearly as pretty as a glass slipper, I had a heck of a time cramming my foot into this shoe! I am a loyal keen wearer (have at least 10 pairs and they are ALL I wear) so I felt a little bereft when I couldnt even come close to wearing this slip on shoe! Bummer.

I ordered this product 1/2 size larger than my normal size to compensate for my feet swelling during long shifts standing (12+hours). However, I could barely get it on my foot! I agree with the person that said you practically had to have a shoe horn to get it on. I had to return them. The shoes were not great, but Zappos return policy still is.

After reading all of the reviews, I was really hoping that these would be great shoes for a planned trip to Europe and all the walking that entails. Unfortunately, they are not. The right shoe is significantly larger than the left, making it feel like I have a clown shoe on that foot . The shoes are stiff and the arch does not hit me in the right spot. I cannot go down a size because they would be too small with the hiking socks. Sorry to be one of the few negative reviews for these shoes. They are not for me.

I love Keen sandals because they are nice and wide, but these made my feet look like enormous duck feet. A half size smaller might have fit better but getting them on would be difficult due to tiny elastic wedge.

When I first got these shoes, I loved them and gave them a high rating. But when I wore them on a trip that involved a lot of walking, my left Achilles tendon got injured. At first, I blamed it on the walking. But I have come to realize that my Achilles tendon is inflamed every time I wear these shoes, no matter how briefly I might wear them. And I have just gone on a trip on which I did a lot of walking in a pair of Uggs, with no damage to my Achilles tendon. So it really is these particular shoes. I usually like Keens but these are getting thrown away.

After admiring these shoes for the longest time, I finally bought them. However, the strap detail at the arch is very tight across my foot (and I have flat feet), and the heel cup is overly big. Strange combination.

I am really disappointed with this shoe. I love Keens and own many. When they arrived, the black sole was not attached very well to the rest of the shoe, and I could see glue everywhere. It was very sloppy and for this price, very unacceptable.

I couldn't wait to get this shoe. I need new work shoes that are comfortable. I would have loved to keep them but they are too tight across my instep. Plenty of room once inside once on, but very difficult because of my instep issue. Sadly, I must return these.

I am one of those who will buy a shoe in every color once I fall in love with them. I like these so much I got them in brown and black They are super comfy and go with almost everything including some business casual cothing. A must have for every casual girl.

My job requires me to be on my feet 8 hrs. every day. From the first day I wore them to work, pure comfort. Highly recommended.

I bought these in Stone. I love the color, love the fit, and most of all love the comfort! I liked the looks of the sole, which is what made me buy them...perfect for walking the the slush...water proof and seems to be stain proof also!

These were my shoes I wore on my trek all over Europe. Although they have a chunky/clog look, I found they worked well with skirts (Smartwool Hide & Seek socks). My only complaint is that they aren't all that easy to slip on. Great support, though.

I have had 2 pairs of Keens in the past and ordered these shoes. I work where I am on my feet all day on a concrete floor or outside. These are hands down the best shoes I have ever had. I had surgery on my left foot a year ago and wore only Crocs for a long time because they were the only shoe that felt wide enough and didn't pinch the sides of my feet. As with my other Keens I ordered a half size bigger. I wear a 9 with other shoes and got a 9.5, perfect! A big bonus with these shoes is the fact that they are waterproof. I would highly recommend these shoes. As some of the other reviewers have said that they were hard to get on, I had no problem right out of the box and I have a high instep. What a great shoe. Thank you Zappos for all your awesome customer service! Totally worth the money! Ordering the Venice now!

I bought these shoes as I have always loved Keens! Right out of the box they are awesome! No break in time for me. This is my 4th pair of Keens and am ordering 2 more pairs. They are the cat's meow.

LOVE these shoes! The arch support is great. I have flat feet and usually need to put orthotics in my shoes but not with these. Bought two colors.

These shoes are awesome. A little rugged/casual looking, but so comfortable and perfect for walking. A great option for daily wear for those that don't like the athletic looking shoe. A little hard to slip on at first, and can't be worn easily with thick socks.

This is a great shoe! I am a big fan of Keens, I have 10 pairs (in various styles including sandals and biking shoes) and wear them every day to work where I am on my feet most of the day. This pair is a great addition, it is sturdy but not heavy, it is nice and roomy but doesn't slip off my foot like other slip-on shoes do (I have a very narrow heel) and has good arch support but not too much. My normal shoe size is an 8, sometimes I have to go up a half size in Keen's but based on reviews of this shoe, I bought an 8 and it fits perfectly. It felt a little stiff when I first put it on, but wore it all day that first day and had no problems. You will not be disappointed in this pair of Keens.

After buying the Keen Sterling ballerina slip ons, I tried these and bought 1/2 size larger to accommodate thick socks for winter. They are very comfy, plenty of room in toe box, and shipped very fast - I love them! I wear them with jeans instead of my boots.

I love these shoes, just got them and know they are keepers. My first pair of Keens was about 5 years ago...I still have them and love them as much as the first day I bought them. Keen knows how to make shoes, I don't own anything else that I stand by like Keen! Love this color (forest night) and on sale! Even though the cost of Keens is well worth every penny!

Love love love these! I ordered these in red last year, and wear them at least 3 times a week. Very comfortable, great for standing on my feet all day (bought them to walk a trade show). I ordered a size 10, and they are slightly roomy. Perfect with a pair of thicker socks. If I wear a thin pair, my feet slip out of them. That is fine, since I typically wear them in the winter anyway. Great for those days with snow on the ground but you don't need a full boot as well. I will be ordering the black ones as soon as I hit 'submit review'.

I have somewhat narrow feet so I have had struggles in the past buying some Keens. Fortunately, reading the other reviews they all mentioned a very narrow entry making it hard to get on and off. I figured I would give them a try and because of Zappos free return shipping I am never worried about having to return them. The narrow entry saved me and they are great for me. I was so happy because I was looking for a casual shoe, comfortable, that I could stand in for at least 5-6 hours. My job requires more standing than walking. Now I will say they are a bit wide for me, especially in the heel, but I did some walking while we were visiting Memphis and didn't have any blisters even with the looser heel. Absolutely love them they were exactly what I was looking for and great for standing on my high arches.

This is only my second pair of Keens. I am totally hooked on them. My feet have all those problems that come with age (I can't believe I said that!). Keens are the only shoe that feels good all day long! These shoes are actually sized a little big. They are tight to get on but once they're on you have plenty of toe room. I wear a 9 but a 1/2 size smaller would have worked. These slide a little on my heels. Even with that being said...they are the second most comfortable shoe I own! And the mossy greenish color I got is great looking! I love them!
