My son has wide feet and normally wears Keen shoes in the medium width and loves them. We were surprised that this boot didn't fit at all; he couldn't get his foot past the boot bend because it was too narrow. It's a nice looking boot and seems well made and we would have kept them if they fit.

The first posted picture that I saw on Zappos of Keens Anchorage Boot was "Dark brown" in color. A rich, deep dark brown which Keens labeled as "Shitake". Before completing my order I spoke with a "very polite" Zappos customer service rep who advised me to order 1 size larger than my actual shoe size, which I did. I received my boots the following day. They were (as advertised) a rich dark brown, just what I wanted. But unfortunately, even though I ordered a full size larger, they were still too small (very frustrating). Zappos sent me another pair the following day, I was very impressed! Unfortunately though the 2nd pair that Zappos sent me were a different color and labeled differently as well; "Dark Earth/ Shitake" which are much lighter in color and have a very light green colored cast. Disappointed, I called Zappos and explained what happened to another "very polite" customer service rep. The very next day I received another pair but they were the same light colored brown. Annoyed, but for some reason I decided to keep them. Wore them around the apartment for 24 hours to make sure that they fit. Decided that they felt fine. Went outside walked around the city only to discover that they don't fit after all! Weird! The left boot is smaller than the right and my left big toe is constantly rubbing up against the front of the boot. With in one week the stitching on the inside of the left boot above the rubber sole (about 1/4" long) unraveled. Zappo's A+ Keens C-.

These are great boots, my husband loves them and he is not usually a boot guy. Though slip on would be better for him than laces. Buy a size or two bigger than dress shoes.

I wear these boots all winter long and absolutely love them. Easy to slip on and off and very warm and comfortable. Super rugged also.

So far, so good. Boots are very comfortable, easy to slip on and off, and considering they're boots, they don't look too clunky. I'm normally a North Face kind of guy when it comes to all things winter, but this set of boots beat out both pairs of North Face pull-on type boots I ordered along with it. Definitely would recommend!

My husband and son love these boots. Great traction, comfort, and easy-on/off. I'm tempted to get a smaller size for me!

When 1st. received shoes were so tight I almost could not get them on. That prob. has diminished some. Like the boots & they are very warm. As normal, service from Zappos was terrific. Why buy shoes from ANY other place?

I don't usually write reviews but I will make an exception in this case. I wore the previous model of this boot for 8 years. I found it very comfortable and highly durable. I wore it just about every day. Now, after many years of service, is it relegated to be my garden boot: a bit beat up and tired, but still going (the boot that is). This new model, so far, also seems equally comfortable, although it has some minor styling changes compared to my original boot. If you are looking for a semi-rugged boot that is very comfortable, I would recommend this product.

Fantastic boot! Has a little insulation but very comfortable in mild to cold temperatures. We fly through Dallas TX to Vail CO - it handles both temperature extremes. Stylish, rugged and very comfortable. You can west them with jeans or a khaki pant.

Keen used to make the Anchorage for women, and I loved my pair so much that I ordered the men's size to replace my older pair (that my post-pregnancy feet no longer fit). I now wear a Keen women's 7 and was pretty excited when it sounded like this boot ran small for men. I want a bigger boot for my thick socks. However, it felt to me as if it runs a little more like a true size.

I have always been a fan of Keen, mainly because they make shoes and boots that are actually shaped like feet. The Anchorage is great. I thought that being slip-on, I would only use them for times when I was only going out for the paper or taking the dog out, but that is not the case. These boots do not slip around, they stay put, and are very comfortable. Best boots ever. Look good with jeans, too.

Just got these for my husband today and he absolutely loves them, which is an accomplishment because he's very hard to please. He has been wearing a pair of Bass boots very similar to these for years and loved them, but these are definitely better.

Ideal casual winter boots. Fits same as my Keen Bidwell when worn with normal socks -- order bigger if you want to use heavy socks. Warm enough for single digits yet surprisingly tolerable in a heated office. Aggressive sole offers good traction. Pull-on design is great for leaving by the door. Nice stable stance like other Keen products. Not pretty, but good looking by snow boot standards. Construction appears to be very solid -- I have only had them for a month. Require a firm tug to pull on, but fit more securely than most pull-on boots.

A great boot for what I needed...something warm that's easy to slip on and off. I do really like these, however they can be too warm sitting in a heated office. Also the slip on design doesn't offer much ankle support. I didn't expect that given the design though. Still they are great for what I need, an around town cold weather shoe that is super comfortable and quick on and off. When I need to work, I reach for the full pack boots.

These boots!!! Wow, so far I've worn them through mud puddles mixed with ice and slush, ridden my bicycle in sub zero wind chill, walked on uneven snowy ice... my feet have never been so happy though these adverse conditions. Amazingly light for the warmth they provide too.

Well made, feels a little tight. Had to return for next larger size. Remember, they're rubber and will not stretch out like a leather slip-on. Great product, I returned for next larger size.

I have always been reluctant to buy shoes online. These are very comfortable and the quality is Keen! Now I'm a believer.

These are great boots for snow and rain. They are perfect for my student son who hates spending time lacing up! Grab and Go. They stay warm and dry through Michigan winters. They are perfect!

This is the best boot; for weather, long distance hiking/walking (great arch support & traction), warm, dry. I am a letter-carrier (walking), hiker, etc. There are no ties to contend with. A coating of mink oil helps waterproof. Unfortunately, it is not available in women anymore. Try the men category.

It's an excellent boot. Quite warm and cozy. I have been out in the Minnesota winter and I keeps my feet nice and warm. I would buy one more if I ever need to!

I bought these for my 14 year old son to wear on a trip to Montreal in December and he loves them. The fit is just right, a bit wide at the ankle for a slim teenager, but otherwise just right.

I've always liked Keens and have about 8-9 pairs at this point. So when I saw these pop-up on sale on Zappos right before the Chicago winter was about to hit, I pounced on them. These are my go-to winter boot these days, over other buyer and more rugged versions. The inner lining is warm but not too bulky, and last year in the mild winter I would go out in these boots without socks to clear snow, and they kept my feet toasty the whole time. With socks I'm sure they will hold up pretty well in a heavier winter, which I'm sure will come this year. Definitely my fave Keens so far!

These boots feel, look, and perform as advertised. The sizing is correct, Just give them a day or two. They are very warm and keep your feet dry as advertised. I will be purchasing another pair in the future for working in my shop in the winter time. The ones I own now are for dress and casual.

I bought these boots as a replacement for my Redback slip on boots. They are a real bargain at almost half the price of the Redback boots. My ankles are skinny and if I try to wear lowtop shoes they fall off. These boots did feel like they were moving around a little much on my feet,but I just added another thin insole and it shimmed the shoes to fit nicely. They seem to get good traction in the snow and are very warm. I even wore them snowblowing the driveway. I am a boat mechanic and these boots keep the upholstery clean as I can just slip them off easily.

I bought these for my husband. I read the reviews and many people said to order them half a size larger. I am glad that we did! He usually wears a 10 got a 10½ they fit perfectly! He loves them! They provide comfort, warmth, and outdoor wear. They are all around good shoes! I love all Keens I have ever owned and Zappos is the absolute best!
