The webbing on the sides are used to form the eyelets for the laces as well. After having the shoes for only 7 weeks, this webbing was at least 3/4 worn through and when it goes all the way the shoes will be unusable.

I've owned four pairs of Keen shoes prior to these Siskiyou's. I have found Keen shoes to be extremely comfortable and wear the four pairs I previously owned constantly. However, these Siskiyou Keen's are extremely uncomfortable and have not broken in adequately. I am most disappointed with my purchase and recommend you consider another choice.

I have many pairs of Keens. These are very good quality, but about 1/2 size too small. I would order 1/2 size bigger than normal, even if you have 10 pairs of Keens, all another size.

I bought this shoes for a trip to Europe and they definitely didn't disappoint. I hiked around Mt Etna and Mt Vesuvius and everywhere in between. They are comfortable and have plenty of support for lots of walking.

I've been a big fan of Keens sandals for some time, so figured I'd try a hiker once I needed one. Glad I did it! These are super-comfortable (now my main daily shoe). Zappos, too, was the bomb. They shipped same day, and were at our house the afternoon after I ordered them, with only 3rd day shipping ordered. Very nice.

I ordered these for my husband, who has flat feet and needs an orthotic. He says hands down these are the most comfortable shoes he has ever worn, that they feel like they are already worn in and are like gloves on his feet. I'm ordering another pair today.

Have always been a big fan of Keen shoes and these Keen's are just as good...stay warm and dry but able to let my feet breathe, otherwise I'd have some stinky feet!

Got these for my son who has serious pronating feet. He typically wears out the heels on the outside. These are so stable he said they have improved his walking! Of course, Keens are totally comfy. Look nice too.

This is a well built shoe that looks fantastic. However, on a full 2 weeks of wear, they are still much stiffer than I expected. I appreciate that they seem extremely well made though, and a friend of mine who has had a similar pair longer says they loosen up over time. If you're looking for a really light, comfort shoe, this might not be your best bet.

Took a while to break in. The tongue was uncomfortable against my instep. It helped to pull it to one side or another. If it were straight it was intolerable. It's been a few weeks now and they are better. Waterproofing works great, excellent traction, good arch support. Never tried Keens. My wife loved hers so I thought I would give them a try. Sad to say I don't think they are worth what they cost. I'm not sure if I will try another pair of Keens. Wouldn't recommend them to a friend.

Felt like a nice solid shoe but feels nearly a full size smaller and narrower than my other pair of Keen shoes.

Unfortunately, I will be returning these to the store. This has nothing to do with the shoe performance though. These shoes are super comfortable and seem to be made like tanks. I have to take them back because they are size 13 and are too big. This is the worst thing about hiking shoes. I wear 12.5 and they do not make 1/2's after 11.5, so I get screwed! This is a major fail on these companies. We pay so much for their shoes and they don't help out average size male customers. Disappointed.

Like the look of it. It's not as comfortable as thought it would be. I think it may take some time to break in. It still feels stiff. Don't like the shoe laces. I thought it would be like the Keen sandals, which I love.

Has a hard sole which clunks like hard leather when walking on a hard surface. Inner sole is inadequate to cushion foot. Bought a better inner sole to cushion my feet, but the fit of the shoe got a little too tight then. Just not a very comfortable shoe. A mediocre shoe at best, I won't buy this brand again.

Great shoe but disappointed with the fit. Not enough arch support and a feeling that the heel is slightly to high and tipping you forward. Had to order 1/2 size larger.

These shoes developed construction and quality deficiencies within 3 months of use. Interior fabric in heel wore through on one shoe at the material seam and was beginning to do the same on the other. In the last 4 years I have experienced similar problems with other brands, in my opinion, poor design, inferior materials, and not made in the USA. Recommend that the company, for $100 build a shoe that will last as long as leather lined hiking shoes do.

I bought a pair of Siskiyou two years ago, and wore them out. I bought a second pair last year, and a pair of Merrell Moabs. The Keens were a better fit for me and my work. I am looking for another pair of Siskiyous. Sadly size 12 is not available.

These are great shoes very comfortable. I love Keen shoes. I bought them to take on vacation, some driving and some walking. They will be great.

I wear this shoe in a work area consisting of pete gravel, mud, dirt and asphalt. This shoe and other keen products I have bought in the past measure up all the time. The sole is built to withstand a great deal of abuse while keeping intact. This is a great outdoor type of shoe. Would reccommend a mid or high top variant if ankles would be a concern.

I love these shoes. I wear them on a daily basis. They give great support and they are amazing for hiking. Completely waterproof!

Husband was delighted. Perfect fit and was truly received in record time. I spent 3 days shopping the malls for this shoe and Zappos had it to me in less than 2 days.

Excellent pair of shoe I have owned for a while. Very comfortable and stylish. I rock them out here in Afghanistan and they are perfect fit for this type of environment. I am thinking about ordering another pair in the coming months. I don't know how they will hold up in the winter though, it snows a lot here up in the mountains. If I remember I will write another review in reference to how they hold up during the winter months. The only other brand that comes close to comfort and style is Lasportiva. Take care. Shoes are shoes, but service is something else! The Keens are just what I expected -- a great shoe at a great price (this is my third pair), but I ordered them one morning and got them in the mail the next afternoon. Can you spell s-e-r-v-i-c-e? Zappos is unbelievable!

I recently purchased the Keen Siskiyou WP shoes from Zappos. I am very happy with the product and even more happy with Zappos service! I had the shoes the next day. I also appreciate their aggressive green policy.
