I normally wear a 10 and I have other Keens and I am pretty standard as a 10, however, as with most of Keens hiking boots. I have to size up to an 11. I ordered both the 10.5 and the 11, the 10.5 felt like my toes were curling in them, while the 11 was perfect. They do, however, look bulky on me, but they are serious hiking boots. Get what fits you, and special thank you to Zappos for being so great with returns! I buy exclusively from Zappos because of their great shipping and return policy. Everywhere else looks at me like I'm crazy when I want to try on lots of shoes in several sizes.

This is a warm, cozy, winter boot. It is as hefty as it looks. I have a very narrow foot and it cuddles my feet. The ankle support is great. A real heavy duty boot.

Keen boots seem to run about a half size too small. The top of one boot pushes into my ankle, causing bruising. This may be just my feet though. It looks terrific and has great traction. I've climbed trees and waded through mud on very steep slopes without slipping in these boots. The rubber at the toe really helps keep water out.

I love the fit, so comfortable, and warm. What is too bad - they did not keep my feet dry! Two days in a row after walking for one hour occasionally crossing through soft powdery snow that stuck to the boots - my socks started to feel wet. It was subtle on the first day, so I wasn't sure but when I got home the second day I took the boots off and felt them and sure enough they were damp inside. My feet still felt warm but it was not that cold, mid 20's, and I was moving the whole time. "Keen Dry" technology is a bust.

I like the fit of these boots but this is the second pair I have to return because of defective workmanship. The second pair has a bigger defect than the first pair. The toe cap is on crooked. It is an obvious defect.
