This is my second pair of RXP's. First one was a big step towards the end of my plantar fasciitis, bye, bye Asics. This shoe is the replacement of the 3070. My recommendation is to buy 1/2 size larger. Fits my criteria, stable heel cup, does not hit ankle bone & roomy toe box. The mid-foot suspension, though, is where I think this shoe differs from others. Give it a try - Zappos is the best!

I have plantar fasciatis and these Ecco RXP 3080 shoes really helped my feet. I even showed them to my podiatrist and he that that they looked so good that I could wear them without my orthopedic inserts.

Great shoe. This is my second pair of ECCO walking/running shoes. These are even better than the last pair, especially for my plantar fasciatis!

I love the sneakers but because of the way they are designed I am ordering a larger size than what I normally wear.

First time ordering from Zappos. Love the shoes! Ecco is the best shoes I've ever bought and will buy them as long as they are in business.

I love this shoe! Fantastic for jazzercize, excellent support. My feet felt very cushioned. I have regular width feet and the fit was perfect (size as well). The only regret I had was that I didn't buy sooner. Love the color, too. Neat looking. Price discount was also another attractive factor. The original price tag was prohibitive for me.

Great heel and arch support. I was even able to jog a little for the first time in years without any heel pain.

These shoes seem to do what they were intended to do by providing stability and support. They are smaller and lighter than many shoes designed for foot problems.

I bought these shoes thinking that they could help my chronic plantar fascia, but they haven't. They are comfortable, I like the fit, but I still have foot pain. Also, the shoes give off a terrible odor (a gluey or chemical smell that is only slightly dissipating after a month of wear). The other complaint I have is that my toes go numb when I am on an exercise bike or elliptical machine, so maybe the fit is not perfect for me. I usually wear a size 7, so I ordered a 7. All the mesh is ridiculous, too.

This shoe is great. However, be sure to order a size larger than you usually wear.

This shoe was ordered to help my plantar fasciitis, but I am returning them for a larger size as they run smaller than normal; I may have to get a wide width also. The support system feels good.

I usually wear an 8½ in running shoes and purchased the size 39, but the shoes rubbed terribly on my ankle and gave me a blister. I returned for a size 40 and don't have any problems with the ankle rubbing; however, they are pretty stiff. The best thing about them is that my feet and arches don't get tired, and my plantar fasciitis has not acted up. If you have wide feet, I would not recommend these.

This is my third pair of RXPs. They are the best shoe for anyone who overpronates. I called Ecco and was told that all RXPs regardless of the number are manufactured on the same last. Only the fabric and look of the uppers differ. The fabric on these, however, is much stiffer than any I've had before, not as comfortable. Am hoping it will break down and soften up. I have a medium foot and there is plenty of room for a supportive insert. The flimsy ones that come with all athletic shoes are easy to remove and replace with good ones. Hope Ecco will make dark gray RXPs again for women. They were the coolest looking color and never looked dirty or worn. Everyone used to ask what brand they were.

Ecco needs to have more consistent sizing or they will lose customers. I wear a size 37 in the Ecco Passion Thong (love them) and I wear a size 38 in their RXP 6030 athletic shoes that I got 1-2 years ago. I can only wear the RXP 6030 with very thick socks because they are a little loose. These new shoes were TINY in the 38 -- I had to struggle to get them on with just plain socks. I ordered a 39 and they fit fine (a little big, but I'll just keep wearing very thick socks). The shoes are very comfortable and have excellent arch support. Once I got the right size, I wore them all day to work, then walked around Nordstrom for an hour then walked around Costco. When I got home my knees were stiff, but considerably less than I expected and I wasn't even using my orthopedic inserts. I'm very impressed. But still annoyed about the sizing. Very glad I got them at Zappos so returns/exchanges are not a problem.

This is a nice shoe but not for me. My foot width is medium. My big toe touched the top and the sides were snug against my foot. With any distance this would become very uncomfortable. A narrow foot might find this perfect. The construction looked good. The arch was moderate support.

I just got these. After reading the reviews I was really looking forward to a shoe that's all that. Well to my disappointment the shoe apparently runs narrow even though it says it is the "standard" width it appeared to be a AA width. Not sure what happened there but I had to return them.

This is an excellent shoe; I've had several pair of these and have always felt they were a good value. I do order up 1/2 size because Ecco tennis shoes seem to have a more narrow toe box than other brands. Works well with Montrail inserts.

I have bone spurs in my heals. I bought the same make and model at a outlet store and they where the most comfortable shoes for my foot problem. They did not carry black, which I have to wear to work so I ordered from Zappos. These shoes are so uncomfortable, they are real lemons never again!

I waited for months for my size (40) to come in and I'm so happy with these. This is my fourth pair of Ecco RXPs, the only running shoe that works for me. I have heel spurs and I'm a heel striker and this shoe has made running daily a possibility. Before this shoe, I was wearing New Balance, thinking that it was the best shoe, and I had so much pain and discomfort after running that I couldn't even walk. The only complaint that I have about these Ecco running shoes is that it seems that the heels wear down very quickly. After just five short (2 miles) runs, the first layer of rubber on the heel had already rubbed away, exposing the next layer beneath. It seems that many reviews say that this shoe runs small, and I'm not sure about that. I wear a size 9 in Banana Republic shoes and the Ecco size 40 is perfect for me, though it may be a bit roomy around the toes--still very comfortable. Also, Zappos is the most efficient and dependable company on the planet. Perfect transaction and I love these shoes.

I usually wear the Ecco 3060 but I had a hard time finding them in my size. I thought I would try the Ecco 3080 and they are every bit as comfortable as the 3060. I wear these shoes because I have plantar fasciitis. No more pain!
