Comfortable and lightweight. I took the advice of others and ordered a slightly larger size than usual. Good idea!

Very comfortable shoe. Laces were a little long so I use the extra holes provided near the top of the tongue of the shoe. The center tread on the sole of the shoe seems to catch large marble-sized gravel every now and then, but they easily pop out as I slide my shoe on a smooth surface again.

These are great, lightweight sneakers, but much too narrow to be considered wides. The wides should be considered regular width, but I guess that's the nature of New Balance shoes. Also I had to buy a different pair of sneakers for when I'm out in the rain (and being from Seattle, that's quite often) because these get soggy easily, but for warm sunny days these will do the trick.

I really like these sneakers. They are lightweight and comfortable. They do run small. I am usually a size 7 but had to get a 7.5.

The shoe is great so far. I love the design and that I do not have to change my walking style to get in shape. The shoe is narrow, so be prepared to order a half size larger if you have a wide foot like me. I also had to loosen the shoe strings to get the shoe to fit better. After walking in it a few times, I think the arch support is okay but I do feel that the shoe is working my legs and glutes. So, I say that it is a good investment overall so far.

Nice kicking around shoe but picks up grass stains easily. No leather used in the shoe as far as I can tell.

I love this shoe! I was looking for something to do my walks in and this shoe does the walks perfectly. I have a larger foot so it is always a concern regarding comfort. These are supportive, comfortable and stylish. I am not sure about the style when ordering the shoe but it really looks great. Gray goes with everything.

I found the shoe to be very narrow. Not as comfortable as I was told. I am now looking for New Balance 855. If you can find for me. Thanks!

Overall, these are good shoes. For some reason, this color was half the price of the other colors, which worked for me! I had Reebok running toners, which I think were a bit more comfortable, but they wore out pretty quickly. I feel some soreness on the inside of my big toes, where calluses are, that might just be the nature of the toners. Also, my feet get hotter in these than the Reeboks. Despite all that, they are pretty comfy and I will use them until they wear out. I will probably try a different kind next time though.

Shoes are great for the average day but I wasn't pleased with the shoes on a long walk. Left foot starting burning and became uncomfortable. Look nice overall.

Too snug in the front of the shoe in both the 8 and the 8 1/2 (1100). This was a surprise as the 1105 in black leather was perfect for me in a size 8! I love those.

Was looking for a pair of sneaks to replace my old lady MBT's (those funny looking round bottom, but oh so comfy sneakers). These New Balance are so good for my hips, and look cool as well. Incredibly comfortable. Buy them.

I really liked the style and colors of the shoe. When they arrived I found that they are made out of a cloth like material rather than sturdy shoe material. I would not recommend you wear them in the rain. I was caught in a drizzle and they soaked up water like a sponge. They hurt my feet for the first week of wearing them but now they are as comfy as slippers. I did actually feel sore in my thighs and butt after wearing them for the first week.

These sneakers are very comfortable and I feel a difference in my walk. They are also very well ventalated so your feet breath well. I am very happy with my purchase! I love these sneakers!

At first, felt stiff. After wearing around the house for 30 minutes, they felt fantastic! Love the low profile look with black pants.Would like to wear all day, if they came in solid black. This would be a great touring shoe.

I haven't had them long enough to rate the wear ability yet. But overall I'm impressed with the New Balance product which I am new to. Also impressed with the ease of ordering and the quickness of shipping from Zappos.

Lightweight and very comfortable. I buy New Balances one size up, per my fitting at the New Balance store.

I purchased these shoes because I was interested in boosting the effectiveness of my daily trail walks. I was attracted to these shoes because unlike several other brands of toning shoes, these shoes actually look like athletic shoes. I thought the fit was true to size but has a narrow toe box. I definitely noticed a difference wearing them for walks and chores around the house. You can feel the shoe shifting your balance and placement of your hips in alignment with your torso, which I would guess helps activate different muscles while you walk. I really like the shoes and find them stylish and discrete.

Pros: super comfortable, and great for walking. Cons: I thought these would have a lower profile, and the material (light gray area) gets really dirty quickly and is hard to clean.

Nice lightweight shoe but I returned them because, for me, they didn't provide sufficient arch support.

I wear a size 11 wide width - the shoe that was sent to me is probably a size 9 and not a wide width, even though the tag says it is an 11D. So disappointed, so very not true to size, but I love Zappos and this will not stop me from buying again.

Nice, lightweight shoes. Unfortunately for my daughter, they were a little narrow across the ball of the foot. We exchanged them for New Balance 442's which were just enough wider to make a difference.

At first this was a comfortable shoe. I ordered a wide width because of problems with toes/bunions. They do not look or feel like a d wide, just not much toe room. Not much arch support. Unfortunately, it took a couple of weeks of wearing, on my feet all day at work, to determine that they aren't very comfy by the end of the day. So still looking for that perfect shoe.

This shoe runs narrow a full size and has a small toe box area. I normally buy New Balance sneakers due to the great fit for my large feet. I ordered this in wide and am having problems with the toe box area being too tight. Length seems normal and this shoe looks great, but not a good fit for those with big wide feet. The "Wide" looks and feels like a "Regular" width.

Pros: Cute look. Squishy lightweight upper feels like a sock or snug house slipper Cons: My foot rolled inward with every step, i.e. bad for people who low arches (I don't have this problem with my MBT's or Waldlaufers). This shoe has enough going for it that it will probably be comfortable for most people, but it doesn't work for me. Also, FYI I just learned that NB came out with an all-black-leather version of this shoe in case if you need something dressier.
