I ordered these for my 6 year old son. He has several other pairs of Converse shoes, and they have all fit great. These however missed the mark. These were so large on him that he can't even wear them. Saving grace is that with the next growth spurt, he'll be able to just about fit in them. As always, Converse makes great quality products which is the reason I rated them so high. They will just stay on the shelf until then!

Got these for my 4 year old son in the hopes that he would be able to put his shoes on by himself. He still had some trouble getting them completely situated by himself.

The length fit my sons feet but they are very narrow! I could barely shove my sons foot inside the shoe. The length seemed true to size though. Sending back!

The size was good but the width was real tight.

One of the stretchy laces broke off 2nd week of use from my 5 year old.

These are super narrow and long which make for a weird fit. Loved the navy and red, but between the width and the velcro back closure (this was a selling point for me and thought it would make things easier) my 4 year old refused to wear them. “They feel weird”…decided to go for regular high top chucks instead.

Cute shoes, but they don’t actually lace. They use Velcro closures which don’t stay closed when you walk, so have to return them.

This is a Converse Chuck Taylor. It is supposed to be uncomfortable, its supposed to be narrow and have zero arch support. Thats not why I didn't score these sneakers better. This particular version of chucks have no laces. They are Velcro on the sides with elastic laces that are not very tight. I did not care for them ONLY because my daughter is in between sizes and her ankles kept buckling. I love Zappos though.

These run small. I think in general all the Converse are thinner than expected, These were purchased for wearing with AFO. Had planned on future use but due to size, ended up using them right away!

they run a size big and wide. Got a 5 and 4.5 big kid size. laces work best for kids with narrow feet.

Love the shoes but the sizing is way off. I bought for my daughter who is about a size 6, they were so big I gave them to a friend who wears a size 8.5. If you can, use the euro size to figure out what size your kid would wear.

My 7 year old son had a hard time getting these on himself. The tongue slipped around and he found them uncomfortable. We are going to try the low-tops instead.

They are not what we were hoping for. The velcro top does not keep tight enough due to the fact that it does not pull across the shoe. It only closes on the side. Regular high tops that tie are a way better choice.

Seems like a good idea, but the velcro was tricky to line up and immediately attracks dirt and dog hair. Super cute, but had to send them back. Went with the Chuck Taylor All Star Street Mid Slip instead.

These shoes are SO CUTE and we have always loved converse. But the laces popped off in 3 places on one shoe after 2 days! I bought other elastic ones and made it work but was a bummer!

These are adorable and said they were ago friendly, but for my son with afo they were WAAAYY too narrow and the brace didn’t even half way fit in the shoe. So for an active little kiddos that doesn’t want to tie the shoe they would be fine. But not if you are looking to wear with braces.

The elastic laces made the shoes too loose. When we put on traditional laces, the overlap in the velcro part and the rest of the shoe made an uncomfortable bump on the side of the foot. Do not recommend. They should make these in the traditional style for big kids (why only available in little kids sizes???).

The elastic laces are not adjustable at all, so they’re no good for kids with narrow feet. You can replace with regular laces, but then they are impossible to get off and on. My 10 yr old has had the zip high top converse for a few years and loved them. These were frustrating every time he went to put them on. Bring back the zips!

My son received these shoes for Christmas and loved them. They are very easy to slide on and off. After 3 1/2 months of wearing the shoes to school the sole came unattached from the edge of the shoe. He can't wear them at all because of the problem. For the price I would have thought they would have lasted longer than 3 months. I'm very disappointed in the durability of this shoe. I would hope that this problem was a defect and would love a replacement. They looked super cute while they lasted.

Had to send back as gr-grandson has narrow feet and these are made for someone with wide feet. He did really like them.
