I just ordered these the other day and they came in yesterday. I love them so much! It is my first pair of Frye boots, and I got them in red they are adorable! They are very comfortable and flattering. They are worth the investment. If you are looking for a great pair of boots that are comfortable and will last a long time, you've found them!

These are wonderful boots. I bought smoke which is a brown/grey and goes with everything. The fit is nice and comfortable from day one. They are a little tight in the calf, but perfect for skinny jeans, dresses, and will work well under a straight leg or flare jean/pant. I bought these same boots in tan from the N store and paid quite a bit more. These boots are a classic that will give years of wear. I am 54, retired, but I still want to look good! These boots are terrific, as is Zappos!

I love these boots, I bought boty the Taylor and Taylor harness size eight. I am waiting for a new stock to be posted so I can purchase the brown and black Taylors.

Great western boot by Frye. I found they ran true to size and had plenty of room in the toe box. The leather is soft, but still stays up fine on the leg. Quality, heel height, and shaft height are all good. If you have thinner calves, these boots are great. They still allow for leggings and jeans, but hug the leg close, so no gapping!

Love these! I've been wanting a pair of Frye boots and finally made the investment. The boot is a classic and must have for every wardrobe. I purchased the Taylor Pull On in Smoke and they are awesome. The smoke color sometimes looks brown and sometimes looks gray all depending on your outfit. The fit was great and comfy too! I was a little concerned about other reviews and the narrow shaft of the boot because I have larger calves but the boots fit great with room to spare for skinny jeans or leggings. (My calf circumference a little under the knee is 15 1/4.) I usually wear an 8 in shoes so I did order up a 1/2 size because the toe is pointed and they fit great. The boots look great with jeans, dresses, skirts, shorts are pretty much everything. Definitely worth the money!

A good looking boot, even if you are not from the wild west! True to size and comfortable. People will notice in a good way -- it is not "costume-like," just sensible, stylish, casual wear.

Love the style of this boot and the construction is wonderful - just like a Frye boot! I have fairly narrow heels and although this boot fit true to size and was super comfortable, there was too much heel slippage for me to keep them. So disappointed because this boot is a beauty and the leather is very soft and the style is super. Great with jeans and dresses and skirts, can dress it up or down. Very comfortable, especially for a higher heeled boot. If it fits you well - it's a keeper!

It took a little convincing from a shoe-loving friend, but I decided to go ahead and purchase these wonderful boots 2 weeks ago...they arrived in 3 business days, thank goodness, because I was about to go crazy with anticipation. They are beautiful - perfect right out of the box. The fit in the calf is perfect and they play a low-key role in dressing up any outfit. They are not quite "Look at me! Here I am!" boots, but if you want to look sleek and style-ish, and only attract the attention of those who know what they're looking at, these are the boots. Very comfortable, good arch support, and they smell amazing!

I really loved these boots. They fit really well but the shaft was just a little tight for my liking. So they were returned. I've never returned anything from Zappos but it was so easy! It's a shame the shaft was a little tight because I really liked these boots, and the color was great too. Kind of a cross between grey and brown. If you like a snug fit in the shaft this boot is for you. They look super cute under jeans or with skirts. I think you'd be hard pressed to get these on over jeans, even a really skinny pair though.

This is a lovely boot, fits like a leather glove, I bought in smoke and harness. I am waiting for these in black. If you have small calves, this is the boot for you. Zappos customer service and overnight delivery is great.

I love these boots. There is no break-in time needed and the leather is very soft-boot is fairly easy to get on, tight in the vamp but once on, is great! The cognac color is really nice.

I love these boots. I bought them in the gray and they are kind of a taupe/gray color so they go with anything. I've been a Frye fan for years and have bought other brands, but come back time and again for the style, quality and durability.

Awesome boots, but very narrow in the calf, so unless you have 12 inch calves, this boot is more comfortable for wearing with leggings rather than tucking in jeans.

These boots are fabulous! They can be casual or dressy, go with everything, and feel like a dream on my feet. I have the smoke color. Since my feet are rather narrow, I went a half size down from my normal size (8.5 to 8). I would buy these boots again and again. My first Frye boots + Zappos great service = win! Happy!

I love these boots. I have them in black and they are gorgeous. The leather is wonderfully soft and supple and the style is timeless. I have always loved the Frye Carson style, and I think that the Taylor is a heeled, sleeker version of that. I am an 8.5 in most styles, but usually go down to an 8 in Frye, with this pair being no exception. The toe box on this style is rather narrow, so you many not want to size down if you have a wider foot. I have really skinny calves (13.5 inches) and never find boots to fit me without having the calves adjusted at the cobbler. These fit me perfectly out of the box. They have a leather sole, which is slippery in the rain, but once a slip resistant sole was added at the cobbler that can be replaced for years to come, they are perfect. The boots look good with everything, but I'll mostly be wearing them with leggings and skinny pants. I look forward to many years of wear out of these beauties. Thanks Frye!

These are beautiful. The heel is perfect height, they are not too dressy, not too casual. The calf is narrow, however, works great with a super skinny jean or under jeans.

I just got these and I am so happy I did! This boot has just enough of a heel to be sexy and is versatile enough (not too trendy) to be worn with everything. I love the way these fit my very skinny calves (which are only 12.5 inches wide). They look awesome with skirts but are still wide enough to tuck my jeans in! I like that they are not too tall on the leg which to me makes them more "timeless" which is how I justify the steep price. I've gotten a ton of compliments on these! I love them so much I want to get them in the harness version and in other colors! I usually wear a size 8 in regular shoes but got these in an 8.5 as I find that the toe box in Frye boots tends to run tight in the toe box and they fit me perfectly! These boots are beautiful; BUT, the shaft is small and the heel is tight. Once I got them on I loved them - I usually wear an 8, but with boots 8 1/2 - I'm glad I ordered a half size larger. I could not have gotten my heel in my usual size 8, plus I have extra toe room - forget tucking jeans in, also - great leather, though!! The cognac color is gorgeous. This is my first pair of FRYEs, so the verdict is still out.

These are really beautiful boots. However, beware that the boot shaft is narrow; if you are looking for a pair to stuff your skinny jeans into, these might be difficult (note: I don\'t have big calves). Even though they are so pretty, I\'m returning them. They also felt like they may rub uncomfortably on my heel if worn for long periods.
