Absolutely gorgeous boot! True to size for me and i am a solid 8. I loved the color and the style, but sadly the heel was just too tall for me and i had to return them. If you can handle some height with your shoes, you should definitely consider this boot!

I love these boots, but I had to go up half a size. The tall shaft without a zipper made them hard to get on. I exchanged for the next half size up and they fit perfectly!

These boots are absolutely beautiful and sexy! The picture doesn't do them justice. The leather is a really pretty dark charcoal and a little silver -- not obvious -- very subtle. The leather is really soft as well. Will look great with jeans tucked in or with leggings. Was worried about the heel height. Not a problem thanks to the platform. Love them & love Zappos!

These boots are fabulous. Hands down my favorite Frye boots and I now own four pairs, which is saying a lot since I love them all. Frye is a great company and the quality is outstanding, to me a great shoe, or in this case boot, is worth the price. I've had my other Fryes for many years and they still look great and feel great. I found these boots to fit perfect. I am a true size 8 and the 8 was a perfect fit. I would not go down in size on this boot since it has somewhat of a pointed toe. All I can say is they are sexy and figure flattering and the leather is soft and they make a rear sing! Get these before they are gone; you will not regret it at all. Leggings, jeggings, dresses and skirts, they go with everything. They can be sexy casual and of course totally dressed up. Did I mention sexy? Love these boots. Zappos had these to me the next day. What a great customer service. I am so pleased. Again, get these before they are gone!

These are my first pair of Frye boots, and I love them. I originally purchased them in a size 9, but had to return them for 8 1/2. The boots are pricey, but worth the money. They are very rich looking and quite comfortable, despite the heel height. Will definitely look to purchase Frye again in the future.

Just got these and they are beautiful! They are very tall so I'll have to practice walking in them. I have pretty big calves and they just fit. I wear a 9 1/2-10 and I ordered a 10 and they are pretty true to size. I won't be doing any marathons in them though!

I wear a 8 1/2 in most boots, and ordered these in 8 1/2 and they fit great. I have big calves, and these boots fit around my calves. They look great with jeans and skirts. They are gorgeous boots.

Was looking for a boot with a heel - that could be dressy/casual without being stilettos - and these are it. I have athletic calves - 14½ inches - and there's room for jeans tucked in. A little bit of slouch in the ankle makes it casual; it hits right below the knee. I'm 5'6" and wear an 8½ or 9 - and went with the 9 because of the pointed toe. It fits good, with room to spare, for times when thicker socks may be needed. Frye is my favorite. I have several pair of their sandals/heels and love the style and durability. A little pricey, but worth it. A shoe you can count on for years to come. ZAPPOS service is the best. I will be a loyal customer for times to come.

Love these boots. They are a little uncomfortable with the height but I wear them anyway!

I just received this boots and love them. They are very high but comfortable for shoes this height, and look great on. The calf is big but not huge, creating a nice slouch look.

I LOVE THESE BOOTS! I have wide calves and they fit with thin jeans under them. The platform helped with the heel height. They slouch perfectly. I am in LOVE!

These are beautiful boots! Great quality product. Would have loved to keep them, but they are just way too big around the calf area. Darn it!

This is a beautiful boot, awesome quality and look. The only reason I am returning...if you have thin legs, you are going to be swimming in these. Too bad. Besides that, they would have been a keeper.

I was overall disappointed. I am a 7.5 size so ordered that size, but just could not put them on - too small! Since there is no zipper on the side, I guess you might want to consider ordering at least a half size above your regular size? I also was disappointed by the texture of the leather. Too "coarse" for my liking - but I guess that's just a matter of taste. I was looking for a comfortable yet sexy brown boot with relatively narrow calf - these are unfortunately not it for me.

I have thicker calves and these are perfect for me. They don't flop open at the top, but hug the calf. Will not be able to wear with tucked in jeans or thicker leggings, but great for thinner tights and dresses. They also slouch perfectly. I loved the first pair so much I bought another color as soon as I got the first pair out of the box and on my feet. I think some people may struggle to pull them off, but I had no problems and I have big feet. The quality is what you can expect from Frye.

I am so excited to receive the dark brown pair today. It's definitely a keeper. The boots are very well designed and made with beautiful supple leather. I'm 5'2" and lean. The boots make me look and feel tall. I'm in love with them. The dark brown color goes really well with my LV bags.

These are fantastic, I like to just prop them up and look at them, lol. I love 'em, my husband really loves them. Just don't wear them out of the house if you don't want to get looked at.

I love the look of these boots, but honestly, they are the most uncomfortable foot wear that I have ever owned. I cannot wear them for more than an hour without my feet hurting. The padding feels nice in the footbed but the leather is so stiff, they are uncomfortable to sit in, which does not make sense. I love Frye but if I could send them back now, I would.
