Wanted to love these but sadly they just didn't fit. The leather was incredible stiff along my heel. Seemed as though these would require a significant break in period. Also, while the 8.5 were a bit too snug (and for this price I wasn't going to gamble on no stretch with wear) the 9's were too loose in the heel. Beautiful shoe and seemed to be the same high quality I've come to expect from Frye, but unfortunately this style just doesn't work for my feet.

I originally ordered my normal size and felt they were slightly to big. I have narrow feet. After ready the reviews, I ordered a half size down per others recommendation, bad idea. Way to short. Keeping my original size even though a little big. Very comfortable and after wearing them all day, they fit fine. May use a very thin insert if needed in the future.

Beautiful well made shoe - what I've come to expect and love about Frye! My only complaint is that these seem to run a bit small for my feet (I do have a wider toe box and a bunion that causes some sizing difficulty). However, my sister has this shoe and they do break in to be quite soft. I am returning for a 1/2 size larger in hopes they fit. Beautiful color, sturdy sole. Fingers crossed!

Simple, elegant, and classic flat. The structure of the shoe is solid, but the leather is supple and takes to the shape of your foot over time. Highly recommended!

I have worn a pair of these for over 2 years. They're getting pretty worn so I order another pair, same size, receive the order and the shoe is too narrow. Since I know the size should fit I order another pair in the same size, receive it and it's too wide. Love the shoes but Frye's quality control needs work. I'm trying a third pair, which is the exact thing I had to get my first time around. Thankful for free shipping!

I love Frye Leather. Sadly, I have to return these shoes because my arch is too high and I need a bit of support.

I have a few pairs of Carson Ballet shoes that have been wearing them for the past few years. They are my go to shoes when I want to have a quick put together look. I just ordered the Sage Antique color, which will be great for fall. The color is a very rich sagey color, with the same comfort and quality. These shoes are the best for traveling (airport), running around , and light walking. They are comfortable, light, but chic and timeless. I wear size 9 and the size is always a guarantee to be true to size.

I ordered a half-size smaller (can't remember why...maybe my normal size was not available?) and overall the size felt fine, so perhaps they do run a bit large. In any case, I've always loved Frye's no-nonsense quality. These shoes are just that... a nice, simple, classic ballet flat. While the leather felt a TEENY bit stiff out of the box, I know that after a few wears the leather will surely soften up. I will start wearing these for short trips to the market or whatever, and slowly increase my wear of them as the leather softens...

These shoes are very comfortable and will mold and shape to your feet. They are good quality and craftsmanship. They are a bit pricey, but to me...worth the money. I use a leather lotion on them from time to time to buff out any scratches and moisten the leather. They are the perfect staple flat for me.
