I purchased these in mustard a few months ago in an 8.5. Had to exchange too small. 9 was much better. Ordered them again in black in 9 but was a little disappointed they were small again even at size 9 but needed them for work and couldn't return. It took about 6 weeks to break them in. Now they are perfect and love both pairs. The soles are very smooth which makes walking on carpet awkward until they rough out. Will probably buy even more colors. Awesome flat!

I really wanted to hate these because of the price, but I LOVED them. They are supple and the leather is extremely fine. They are weathered looking but the raisin/oxblood color is just unique enough that they look very special and high end rather than worn. The soles are VERY slippery at first, but they get beat up in a week. My only concern is that the leather bottoms will wear out SUPER fast. I have never had soles like this and the soles seem to be eroding quickly.

I bought my first pair of these at Costco, for $$! And I wore them all the time. I was never a fan of flats, because of the lack of support. However, I can wear these all day, every day, which I do. I initially bought a size 8 because they felt snug, but they stretched to where they no longer looked structured. So, and here's the kicker, I ordered both black and brown in 7.5 from zappos. When they arrived, the black was snug, but comfortable, and the cognac brown was so small you could see my toes through the leather. I took them off to check the sizes, and they were both 7.5. Then I realized the black ones were made in one country and the cognac ones were made somewhere else. The cognac ones are at least a half inch shorter and narrower than the black! I called frye, and they were evasive about telling me which ones were made in this hemisphere and which overseas. I just want to know if I order a second pair of cognac in 7.5, will they be made overseas or could I get lucky and get the regularly sized pair, or, should I size up because maybe all cognac ones are made overseas?!?

It is hard to find a nice navy blue ballet flat. I searched for a while before finding Frye's Carson Ballet. These shoes are made beautifully and are true to size. I can't wait for the fall weather to wear them.

I love these shoes! I purchased the plum in 8.5. They are true to size. I am usually an 8 or an 8.5 and the 8.5 fit perfectly. The color is beautiful and the shoes are extremely comfortable, no break in time required. The color goes with everything (jeans, black pants, brown pants) and they are just nice enough to get away with at the office although I would consider them weekend shoes, because of the distressed look. I have bunions and the shoes don't hurt them at all.

I just couldn't be more pleased with a pair of shoes. In my opinion, Frye's quality is well worth paying for. I wear these almost every day and can't imagine how I managed without them.

I'm obsessed with these shoes. I usually don't buy shoes that are this expensive, but these are SO beautiful in real life. I have zero regrets. In fact, I'd love to have them in about five more colors. I've never worn Frye shoes before, but compared to other brands, I thought these ran a tiny bit short. I kept my usual size, but if you're in between sizes or like your shoes roomy, I'd go up a half size.

Love these shoes, so comfortable and very nice. I got the pink, the color is very feminine and pretty. I will buy in other colors.

My first Frye shoe. I really liked the style of their shoes but couldn't find one that fit right until this one. It fits perfectly. The soft leather makes it super comfortable. I would buy more of it.

Most comfortable ballet flat ever! This is my second pair. My bunions love them and yours will, too! Not much arch support, so you may want to slip in an orthotic, but they are very wearable without.

I love these shoes. I typically where between a 7-8. I ordered these in an 8 but they slipped off the back of my feet. Thanks to Zappos amazing return policy I was able to return them for 7.5. The first day I wore them I was a bit nervous as they seemed a bit tight and not as comfortable. I almost wanted to return them again for an 8 but I had worn them outside already so that wasn't an option. However, my second day wearing them and they are way more comfortable. I'm glad I have the 7.5 and expect them to continue to improve with time!

I bought these about a year ago in a light tan color and I wear them almost every day in the spring and summer. They are comfortable, well made, and they go with everything. I'm totally in love and hoping to buy another pair soon in either black or cognac! I'm between a 7.5 and an 8, and the 7.5 in these is perfect. They did stretch a little bit since the leather is soft. I have narrow feet so there's a bit of a gap on the sides, but that doesn't bother me. My only gripe about these was that I did get a bad blister on the back of one heel while breaking them in, but ever since then they have been perfect. I highly recommend!

These shoes fit me perfectly the minute I put them on. Whereas I usually get blisters with new shoes, these have been great for long walks since I first got them. They're also really cute!

Love these! This is the second pair of the Carsons that I've bought and I plan to buy more, They run true to size and are extremely comfortable. In fact, I once forgot any other shoes on a weekend away and walked several miles in the I'm over three days and my feet were totally fine!

These might be the loveliest shoes I've ever owned. High-quality leather, immaculate craftsmanship, and true to size - I'm somewhere between a 10 and 10.5, and they are just slightly snug, which is perfect for leather shoes so that they'll mold to your foot. These shoes remind me of going to my dad's friend's custom saddle shop when I was a kid - they are the real thing!

Love these shoes. They're so comfortable, fit perfectly, and look great on the foot. Color works with everything. I love ballet flats, but in my experience they're either comfortable and unflattering, or flattering and uncomfortable. These are perfect.

Really like these. I have a red pair and brown pair. The colors are neutral and go with a lot of things. The leather is thick and durable, yet they are feminine looking. Classic. Thanks Frye and Zappos.

I love this flat! Right down to it's leather sole... a rare find these days at this price. Very comfortable and soft, easy to pack and so cute with skinny jeans or a skirt. Love the colors, I also purchased them in navy.

Love this flat. Love the Frye brand -- have several boot styles -- this is my first flat shoe. Love this neutral color. It's very lightweight, easy to wear -- just hope it's durable. Love Zappos!

This is a beautiful shoe! Unfortunately, the right shoe fit perfectly, but the left was too l wide -- definitely my anatomical quirk, but usually one that isn't a deal breaker. Not the case with these, so they have to go back.

Love, love, love these flats. Third pair from Frye I've purchased. So comfortable. Immediately mold to feet. Best flats out there. Worth every penny.

Lovely, lovely ballet flats. I wish they had just a bit more cushion on the bottom, but I love the styling.

I literally tried and sent back 12 pairs of flats before I found these that fit my slightly narrow foot and long toes. I live in them. They don't offer support, but if you are into grounding or earthing - they are perfect, because they are all leather, except for that tiny touch of rubber on the back of the heel. They mold to your feet, yet the leather is really resilient. I plan on buying a second pair. I have the gunmetal gray and they can be worn year round!!

I love these shoes. Right from the start they fit well and are very comfortable which is unusual for a new pair of shoes. The quality is excellent; all leather. Soles are a bit slippery as are all leather soles -- walking on scratchy surface helped with that. I have a bunion on my right foot and the shoe still fits perfectly. The cognac color is great and just as advertised. I feel fortunate to have found these shoes!

One of the best shoe purchases ever! I typically wear between 9 and 9.5 in pumps and 9.5 and 10 in flats. I bought these in a 10 and they are perfect. So comfortable! The leather is so soft and conformed to my feet. Definitely worth the price!
