This is the third pair my wife has gotten. She wears these almost on a daily basis and they have held up nicely. First pair is 2 years old and is starting to show some wear in the toe but I feel like when the time comes they can be resoled if need be.

These shoes are amazing! They fit perfectly as soon as I put them on! You can wear them casual or dress them up! These shoes are a staple to my wardrobe now! I was hesitant on spending the money but after wearing them they are completely worth it! My ONLY negative feedback on this shoe is the bottom of the shoe is a little slick. Hoping after some wear that will no longer be an issue.

I purchased these shoes as a gift for my daughter. She said, right out of the box, these shoes are a dream to wear. There was no breaking-in time, no blisters, no red pressure points on the side of her feet and plenty of toe box room. She wears them all the time, with everything, everywhere. She loves the color saying they go with almost anything she wears, even jeans. I just sent her another pair of Frye ballet shoes in black, the Regina ballet, So now I am eager to see what her report will be about those. I'll keep you posted.

After purchasing the Carson Ballet Flat in cognac, I knew I needed more colors. This is my favorite flat ever. I just purchased the dsrk brown and will be asking for black, for Christmas. A timeless, ageless, classic shoe. As someone who has really wide feet, I usually have trouble finding cute flats that fit. the Carson runs small though. I usually wear size 9 but need a 10 in this shoe.

Hands down my favorite shoes ever! They are very versatile and they are very comfortable. I ordered a new pair recently because I wore the other pair so much that I wore a hole in the leather sole. I had worn them for about three years.

Love the shoes wore them all day the first time I put them on. I have a narrow foot so I will probably have to use an inner sole eventually if the stretch any. Which they made them in an arrow width

I have lots of trouble finding my favorite shoes to complete outfits, simple ballet type flats. As I age, my feet have begun to take on their own personal shape! These are wonderful! They mold to the foot and get more comfortable the longer you wear them. Just great! I love comfortable shoes! And the quality is fantastic! Thank you Frye, for my go to shoe!

I love Frye boots for its high quality and attention to details. Not only are they comfy but very well-made. The same can definitely be said about these Carson flats...fit well the first time I put them on and has become the most comfortable shoes I own!

Ballet flats are my go to shoe and I'm in love with the black leather Carsons! They fit like a glove right out of the box - they are perfectly true to size - they were immediately comfortable and the leather is soft and pretty. I already plan on ordering in another color and making the black flats my default ballet flat. Thanks Frye!

Very soft leather. (I got the Jeans Soft Nubuck - blue).
Based on the reviews I went with a smaller size, but then returned for my usual size.
I don't wear shoes with support. Most of my shoes are simple flats.
These are perfect for that style.

I love these shoes. Because they are leather, they take a little breaking in, but are much more comfortable to wear all day than others i have tried. they have held up great and after a year i just had the soles replaced and they look like new again. i also just bought a second pair in another color. they aren't huge on arch support, but they aren't totally flat either (i said no arch support because they don't quite reach moderate)- i actually find them more comfortable than a born pair i own.

Gave these as a gift but the receiver says they are very comfy. However, there is little arch support and not quite as much room in toe box as she is used to. However, the color and design make them look very smart with slacks or dress in a casual attire setting. The width is almost perfect and the shoes make her foot look slim. She is pleased with them and likes Frye shoes a lot.

Great flats! I bought these in the beige antique soft vintage full grain (phew!) and I actually appreciate that they are so neutral -- not sure if they are elongating my legs, but it is a nice neutral color and the leather is soft and supple. I really like how these shoes are cut so that they expose so much of the foot (especially around the edges of the toes) -- they are very flattering! The sole is leather (except for a portion of the tiny heel) so expect to slide! (Great for the dance floor!) I'm really happy with these so far; I can't speak to the quality yet as I've been wearing them on and off for a month or so, but I expect they will live up to Frye's reputation for quality!

Since I favor the brown pair I've worn regularly over a year, I recently ordered another pair in charcoal. This shoe is simple, but the leather is stylish and a great quality, and well worth the high price point. I'm able to wear them casual or a little more dressy. I order two pairs at a time and keep the one that fits best, since they have a hand crafted feel. Conformed to my foot after my first wear. I will likely order another pair in a new color in the future.

these shoes are quite comfortable and are cut low enough in the toe box to avoid putting pressure on my slightly arthritic big toe joints. the neutral color makes them perfect for any outfit.

These feel like very high quality. Definitely the best flats I've ever worn, comfort wise. I typically wear flats in 8.5 (or 9-9.5 in designer brands), but I got the 9's and they fit great. The heel slipped off sometimes, but I've added those reusable Aldo foot bed comfort pads for to help with moisture and extra comfort, and it actually fixed that problem. My only gripe is that the bottoms of these are just leather and super slippery, so I slide while walking on carpet. Not too concerned though, I am going to buy those shoe bottoms for friction :) Love these though, I got a pair in black for work, royal blue, and cognac. The royal blue and cognac are beautiful colours and look great with my skinny jeans, which I wear all the time. I really want the reds but I'm broke now XD

I have been a loyal Frye fan for over 30 years. They are not easy to buy because of the cost but they are well worth every single penny. Every time you reopen the box, even years later, they smell brand new. Nothing beats that smell. I am more of a stack heel person but I had to give these a try because I do a lot of walking at work. These shoes are so comfortable. I am a size 7 and I purchased a 1/2 size bigger and it makes a difference. I am in love with these shoes and will purchase another pair in a different color. True to the Frye quality. Nothing else compares and they are totally addicting - good thing my husband is a Frye guy.
