This shoe was purchased specifically for gym classes that require a lot of lateral movement (i.e., step and kick boxing) because my ASICS running shoes did not provide enough ankle/heel support as they are designed to move in a straight line, not side-to-side. Of course you give up some of the cushion of running shoes, but it's worth it to avoid sore ankles, knees and heels. I also had to go down to a 9 from my normal 9.5 ASICS running shoe size, but they run much narrower, especially in the toe box area, than a running shoe.

These shoes fit and fell awesome but they have really sticky soles. I wanted them for step class so they won't work for that but they would be great court shoes.

Be aware this shoe has vents in the bottom of the shoe. They are not made for outdoors. If this is mentioned in the description I didn't see it. Don't wear outside when it's wet! Beware.

Purchased for my daughter's Volleyball season. She really liked the shoes. Well made, comfortable and they look good. One thing to know about - there are vent holes in the bottom of the shoe that are designed to pump air in and out as you run and play. My daughter loves this, but beware that they are not made to be running through puddles etc. as they would let water in. Dry weather or inside gym use only would be best.

My daughter plays volleyball for her school and fell in love with these shoes. She has a narrow foot so it was perfect. Her school colors are red and black so the red was great. She totally stands out, which for her is great! She loves them and is able to move easily, no rubbing on ankles or heels.

This is a gorgeous sneaker, however it runs a wee bit narrow. I've had this brand before without a problem but this particular style did not fit. I returned it with a heavy heart.

Let's face it, the selection of styles for volleyball sneakers overall is subpar. So when I found this pair on Zappos, I bought it right away. I've been wearing it for a few months now and I have to say that its the best pair I've ever had. My feet are narrow, and it fits perfectly so for those who have wide feet, you may want to go half a size up. The color is awesome, too. I get great comments every time I play!

My daughter says they are "absolutely amazing." She plays on the school volleyball team and says they have great support and are very comfortable. She loves the style as well. Asics makes a great shoe. Whenever we buy a new pair, she tries on just about everything in the store and more times than not, the Asics win out for comfort.

These were much tighter and narrower than any other Asics I've tried. They are also very stiff. The red is really cute but they just didn't fit and had to go back. I'd recommend trying a half size up from your normal Asic size.

Luv these shoes. Wanted some comfortable cross-trainer type shoes. Shoes without good support usually cause me heels to hurt. I figured volleyball shoes should have plenty. I was initially concerned the shoes would not fit b/c of other reviews. My feet are medium width and the shoes did have a comfortable snug fit out of the box, after a few times of wears they became less snug. The toe area is not mesh, so they are not as airy asa running shoe.

These have been great for wally ball (volleyball in a racquetball court). They offer great support and stability. I tried to walk on the treadmill in them though and they gave me a blister quickly. I don't love having to have separate shoes for every activity, but maybe that's the way it is supposed to be.

Great shoe for my daughter to wear while playing high school tennis. She loves the fit, the court style is just what she needed, and the color matches her school's colors. You can't beat Asics Gel shoes.

These shoes were reviewed as narrow and they did tend to run narrow. My daughter has very narrow feet and is hard to fit - these were perfect!

These shoes make me feel comfortable and safe. I bought them to play handball and I fully recommend them.

Great shoe for Volleyball. It has a lot of support and grip. Plus the color blue looks great.

I absolutely love them! I got these because I play volleyball and before buying these Asics Gel-Domain, I used to wear Pumas that were not for volleyball and they were hurting my feet. So, I searched for volleyball sneakers and found these ones. Used them the same day I got them and they are so comfortable!!! My feet are size 7/7.5 and they run a bit narrow but just perfect for my feet which are narrower than normal. Also, the style looks great! I love that they are pretty unisex without looking bulky and having flashy colors like many other sneakers. I absolutely recommend these!

Fantastic volleyball shoe! It runs true to size and width and has great lateral support. Plus, they really make a statement on the court when all others are wearing the standard black and white styles. I get a ton of compliments about how fun they are!

These do feel a bit narrow and are pretty tight on the widest part of my feet, but maybe that's good because it's meant for cutting movements (these are for volleyball originally right? I'm using them for squash). I went up a half size larger than my usual 6.5 because of what other reviewers said about sizing. They actually feel fairly roomy in the toe box maybe just because of sizing up. Maybe my toenails will turn back from black now. You're welcome. If you're into looking stylish/cute while you work out, these are super bright and make your feet look HUGE, if that is a concern for you. My (actually size 6) feet look like boats in them. But they are generally freaking badass, the color is awesome--nice change from the usual white court shoes that's also not a tacky pink/purple/black combo. Whoever came up with fuschiaflage must be a gay ninja. Also they have holes at the bottom (heat vents supposedly) so make sure to not walk around the street in them. You shouldn't anyway to save the soles, but even more so with these.

I am using these shoes for Pickleball and I find them lighter than my old court shoes. The top is a little stiff at first but has loosened up. The toebox is a little narrow but wearable. My feet breathe more in these shoes as well so my feet don't get as hot. I doubt they will wear as well as traditional tennis court shoes but the lightness is worth it.

I play rec league volleyball and have been happy with Asics volleyball shoes in the past. These shoes look great and feel great. The cushion isn't quite as much as the last pair I'd purchased, but overall I am very happy with these shoes for the amount that I'll be wearing them. Width wasn't an issue as I'd read in some of the other reviews. I'm a bigger girl and was worried when I'd read those comments.

These shoes are very deceiving. They are pretty snug (in all the right places) on the inside, however they looks and feels ginormous on the outside. I love the way these shoes look and they are so incredibly light but I already have big feet and these make my feet look like something is seriously not right!
