I keep buying the Nimbus 12. Unfortunately, the newer Nimbus 13 fit a bit snugger and seems to run tighter around the toe area. If you can still get the Nimbus 12's go for it. The price is a lot less.

Toe box small and angle of laces puts too much pressure on my bunions. The Saucony ProGrid Triumph 8 gives more toe wiggle room.

Not the shoes for me. The shoe did not hold the ball of my foot snugly, and the arch support was weak. Also, not great cushioning.

Just returned this pair. I have Morton's Neuroma & this pair exacerbated the issue. The toe box was narrow and the gel felt nil. I gave it a good month and even took a break from them to try them on later but they were just not comfortable at all. I normally like the Gel Nimbus but this pair just did not work for me.

I have been wearing Asics for a while, and I thought I was going to upgrade by getting the Gel-Nimbus (they were more expensive than the 2150 I had been getting), but I didn't like them as much. They felt smaller, and they were somewhat mis-shapen. Not bad, overall, I have been running in them. But I definitely did not like them as much as I thought.

I read a lot of reviews from people on different websites and found many people reporting foot numbness and other assorted problems after working out in this shoes. I ignored these reports and bought a pair anyway...mistake. I bought the Nimbus 12 recently in the blue, very attractive shoe. Wore them to the gym one time and they made my toes go numb. My ankles were also killing me after 15 minutes on the stair climber (I did 45 the day before in my 6 month old Nimbus 11's). I could also feel a raised point under the ball of my right foot (left felt fine). I took them back and tried on another pair to make sure mine weren't defective and found the same protuberance under the ball of my right foot. I ended up returning them and luckily was able to get my third pair of Nimbus 11's. Very disappointed with the new shoe, not sure what I'm going to do in 6 months when I need another pair.

These shoes were very nicely made and comfortable, but I had to return them within half an hour of trying them on. I have a latex allergy that the gel in the footbed triggered. I've never had that happen before, so I was very disappointed. Be careful with these if you're in the same boat.

The laces are not centered. They twist down from ankle to toe. Too off center for me to enjoy this shoe.

I\'m disappointed in the Gel-Nimbus 12. I wore previous models for two years and loved them. This spring I tried to Kayanos and was very pleased. When it was time to purchase another pair of shoes I decided to go back to the Gel-Nimbus. I don\'t know if it\'s the new style or that my body had grown accustomed to the stability and support of the Kayanos but the Nimbus just aren\'t working for me. They\'re very cushioned and I don\'t mind the position of the laces but it felt as though my feet were tilting inward. They felt comfortable for the first two weeks and then I developed knees problems. Maybe it\'s a coincidence. Went back to my Kayanos and I felt a lot more stable. I\'m bummed the Nimbus shoe isn\'t what it used to be.

They worked fine for a month until the heel area started wearing down, the cloth is very loose now.

This shoe made my feet fall asleep and achilles hurt. I tried a couple times, same thing happened. Zappos is great though. They took care of me and I praise them for their help & excellent customer service!

I loved this shoe when I got it. And was planning on stocking up on backup pairs. But after several months of moderate use there is a hole where my front right toe meets the shoe. This has never happened to me with any brand of running shoe before. I noticed someone else wrote in w a similar problem on the Asics website. Sorry, cant recommend this shoe til they fix this problem.

I had this shoe before in a size 9.5. I ordered a 10 this time, but it took an 11 to be long enough. So the sole is a 10 and the heel cup is 11 - too deep for me and the shoe rubs my Achilles tendon. Shoe quality is fine, but sizing is off in my opinion.

I did not care for this shoe as much as the Gel-Nimbus 11. This shoe has a stiffer heel pocket and pinched my achilles. I ended up on eBay to find last year's model the Gel Nimbus 11, a much more comfortable and runner friendly shoe. I wish companies would not make changes to shoes just for the sake of change.

If the shoe fits -- why did you have to change the overall design of this shoe? Have worn Asics Nimbus for several years with no running injuries. Purchased the "new and improved version." Have worn them for two runs and developed plantar fasciitis.

This is my 5th pair of Asics, after happily wearing the previous four pairs out. I hate these, though. This model has laces off center to the instep side, which causes a very uncomfortable rub on the ball joint right below my big toe. I walk long distances, and these are torture. I have tried lacing different ways, to no avail.

Have another pair of Asics that I purchased from Zappos a couple of years back...so comfortable. The sizing on these were so small and narrow, that I really couldn't get a feel for if they fit or not. The front of the shoe, where the ties are, is not straight.

These shoes were horribly uncomfortable. Bought them to bum around Europe with for the summer. My feet hurt so bad after wearing them for just a few hours. I eventually bought some German tennis shoes and tossed these in the trash. Money wasted! Will never ever buy again!

I am a runner and have been getting the Gel Nimbus shoes for several years. I hate how you have to buy the newer version (i.e., #12) each year, especially when you love the older version. Last time, I bought 3 pairs of 11's, but, alas, had to get new shoes. These shoes have changed enough so that I cannot run in them. My knees and my hip and back hurt. Not sure what they did to them, but they do not work for me for running. It's hard to give ratings for comfort, because they would be perfectly fine if you walked in them, they feel very comfortable. However, I would not spend this much money for walking shoes.

Cushy heel but it’s so high that it pushes my toes against front of shoe...unbearable!

This is a badly designed running shoe. The laces run on a diagonal rather than straight across the top of your foot. This means that there is a rough and sharp-edged seam in the interior of the shoe that rubs directly against the top of the upper joint of the big toe every time you flex your foot to take a step. This is painful and resulted in huge blisters on both my feet, which is a problem that I have never had with other running shoes with regular lace orientation. Make sure that you really want to buy a shoe with diagonal lacing before you order this. What is wrong with regular laces anyway?

I am a Nimbus girl...it's the only running shoe I buy. The support is great as I have a tendency to run pretty hard on my feet. I feel my heel/ankle stays nice and sturdy.

Love these shoes for long distance running. I've run 1 marathon, 1 half marathon and 1 half ironman in these shoes and they did great. No blisters! I also like the design and color.

I found these shoes to be very supportive and comfortable. I replaced the insoles with my own orthotics and they still fit beautifully. I have a long narrow foot so it's great to find well fitting athletic shoes.

Love them. These have been the best running shoes. I keep going back to Asics Gel Nimbus. Good support, just the right amount of cushion. These are the best shoe for me to help avoid joint soreness from running. I am a 9 but always go with a 9.5 in these for comfort.
