I love the Gel Nimbus line and they are very comfortable cushioned shoe. I say they are like running on pillows. I am a personal trainer who has clients 6 days/week, jog my dogs 5 days a week, and workout everyday. Definitely worth the price! Even though I have a narrow foot and Asics are typically wider they still feel great. These are for people whose feet don't roll inward and therefore don't need the support of a stability shoe.

This is a super comfy sneaker w great arch support. I've been an ASICS fan for years. That said, I tried on several others in the gel line and these were by far the most comfortable! Well worth the extra money paid compared to the other less expensive gel sneakers.

I got these shoes for my daughter for Christmas. She had requested them because she said they were supposed to be the best running shoe. The reviews weren't wrong. She says they are the most comfortable running shoes she has ever had and is thrilled with them. As usual, Zappos came through again. I really like doing business with them.

These are the best shoes I have ever bought. I can tell such a difference in the support of these shoes compared to any other shoes I have had. Zappos made it so easy and quick to purchase. I would highly recommend buying from this company!

This is a very comfortable shoe. I have a narrow foot with a high arch. The arch in this shoe is not quite high enough, but the shoe has an excellent fit.

This shoe is the best for cushion ans support at the same time. I have been running in the Gel Nimbus for about five years. I keep going back to it because you can start from day one and feel good in the shoe. Plenty of mesh makes it breathable and allows for foot expansion on longer runs. You just can't go wrong with the Gel Nimbus.

I LOVE these sneakers! They look awesome and are totally comfortable from the very first second I put them on my feet. Definitely a keeper! I have been looking for black sneakers - I purchased these for a sightseeing vacation where I will be doing a lot of walking, and I don't want to walk around in glaring white sneaks.

I love these sneakers; looks, comfort. They also were recommended to me by a running shoe store. I am a relatively neutral runner - going off my big toe. I also do not run very much, and struggle with plantar fasciitis. What I did not like about this sneaker was I felt as though my foot rolled to the outside more than it should. I even did this fancy dancy lacing thing down by the little toes and it didn't make all that much difference. I also use my own inserts for the support I need.

Zappos is a wonderful company. I am a loyal customer to them as they treat me the way a customer should be. The speed and accuracy at which they deliver products is unrivaled. As for the shoes, smooth, comfortable, and durable. I would recommend these kicks for any customer interested. Great buy.

I had a really bad time with my feet this year and finally went to the foot doctor. He recommend the Asics Nims. 12 for my plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. (The dr. wears them too.) Maybe if he wears them there might be something to it. They were more than I pay for shoes, but I was willing to try anything at the time. Now I'm glad I did. The stores around here only carried a 10 which is what I wear and bought but with the arch supports added, it was scrunching my toes. I went on the internet to find a 10 1/2 and, Bingo, there was Zappos. They had what I needed and I was so pleased with the shoes and service I ordered a second pair. If you are looking for a soft and supportive shoe, this is it. If you put in arch supports, I would recommend a 1/2 size bigger; they fit nice. Good luck.

This is a wonderful running shoe for a neutral/underpronator. The heel cushioning is great. The sole is very flexible. There is also more of a lift in the heel than some other running shoes, and helps me reduce my normal running issue as a heel striker. The toe box is nice and roomy. The width is good. I ordered a wide, and it fits both my wider forefoot and normal width heel. Very well. The shoe itself feels very light on during running. There was very little break in time required; I ran in them right away. I will definitely buy this model again.

Very lightweight, good cushioning, nice looking shoe. Very comfortable. This is my first pair of Asics after many years with New Balance. I have to say I think my New Balance 1225/1226 has more arch support than this pair, but overall I am very happy with these. Just a note on the sizing: I exchanged these for a half size smaller. I am always a size 8 in running shoes. Turns out 7.5 was a little bit better fit.

I love these shoes. They are lighter than air and so comfortable. I have a very high instep and the off-set laceup makes all the difference in the world.

I love these shoes! I was fitted at a running store a few years ago, and this was the shoe that was recommended. I've run two marathons in Gel-Nimbus and I've never suffered an injury. I strongly recommend this for any runner, especially someone with high arches (like me).

Great shoe overall, totally stylish and super comfy, absolutely no break in time required. I was hoping for a little more arch support though, as well as more cushion in the forefoot. Nice cushion in the heel. Again, good shoe overall.

I have not yet used the product for it's intended use (only tried on). The fit is true to size (8.5 and ordered 8.5). The shoe feels less 'bouncy/cushiony' than I am used to with Mizuno Wave Riders. But the fit feels more molded to my foot (wide toe area/ high arch/ small ankles) and more of a solid shoe. I expected the side lacing to be more off-to-the-side than it is - not indicating this is a problem, just different than I expected.

This is the sixth pair of Gel Nimbus I have ordered over two years (about 500 miles each). I have a neutral foot plant and this shoe fits the bill. There has been no break-in time needed in this shoe. Put it on and go! I use them for training and 5k, 10k races. Zappos is unbelievable in their delivery. I live near Tennessee and received the shoes the next day!

These shoes are worth the extra money. I feel extra cushioning and support when I jog after a day at work. I would recommend these shoes as an investment in comfort as an athlete.

WOW!!! If you are looking for your feet to be standing on a cushiony cloud, this is your shoe!! I saw this shoe on a woman in a store, loved the look and asked her the name of the shoe. She gave me a website of the place she bought her shoes, but of course I went to ZAPPOS and sure enough, there they were! Thanks to overnight service, received them the next day. I am still in shock at how soft, comfortable, yet supportive these shoes are. ASICS are now the only sneaker I will own...so long NIKE!! I think they run a 1/2 size smaller that normal (I usually wear a 9, but the tips of my toes were touching the front, so I will be exchanging these for a 9 1/2). I only hope those will work, because I am hooked on these!

I never take the time to review products, but I really love these shoes. I have high arches and tend to wear out the outside heel. These feel terrific! I will be ordering another pair to have a backup in case they change anything about the model.

I love this shoe. I have narrow feet; I'm just plain hard to fit and these shoes get me through all my workouts and daily walks. And I'm able use them with orthotics. Just order about a half size larger. Thank you Zappos for all your great customer service. You're the best!

Can't go wrong with this shoe if you are a neutral runner. Been wearing Nimbus for years. Great cushion and support, plus they look good!

Just great! Once I broke them in they feel like running on clouds. I even wear them walking to work and my feet feel great at the end of the day. Great fit and the colors are very nice. Love you Asics!

Love these running shoes, this is my fifth pair. I think they do run about a half size larger because I normally wear a 9 and have been ordering an 8½ in this shoe.
