They are good - I like them. They hold up well in the washer too.

Can't live without - These make all my shoes comfortable. I need them since I have high arches and no shoe has enough support. I like that they don't have any foam rubber padding to make my feet hot. Plus, they last forever.

Excellent. I've been wearing them for years, when a guy at REI recommended them to me. Whenever I get a new pair of shoes I order a new pair of Superfeet to go in them.

Great insoles! I bought these on a whim, not knowing anything about them. Wanted to put them in sneakers that I use for a retail job. Was I surprised-they are great. They turned a moderately priced New Balance sneaker into a more expensive fitting model. The arch support is great, which is what I needed. Will definitely buy more of these. You may think they are too firm at first, but that is what you need in an insole for arch support.

What a feat by Superfeet - The Superfeet I got were very helpful to me. The cost was a far cry better than orthotics and they are more functional.

Comfortable insoles. They add a substantial amount of cushioning and moderate support to the rear of the foot. They seem to be wearing well and are solidly constructed. I wouldn't mind having just a tad more forefoot cushioning, but overall these are great!

Great product. Nice support for my arches. I like the orange slightly better because the cushioning seems better.

I have used a similar type of insert for years and thought I would try these. They are good inserts but do not provide the type of support I am used to for heavy physical activity like basketball. They are better suited for walking and everyday use.

Tried 4 different styles & all failed me due to material on top. My feet are too sensitive to be able to use these insoles with this material because they burn from rubbing. They felt comfortable like they would do a good job if they didn't have covering they do have.

I am recently recovered from a knee injury and tend to pronate. My dad used to put together Superfeet for ski boots and suggested them when my knee started hurting again. I am very active- I cycle everywhere, walk a lot, and have a job that requires me to be on my feet. The green Superfeet helped with the pronation and my knee stopped hurting two days after I settled into my new insoles. They can be a bit unyielding, and I kind of wish there was a cushier layer on the top, but they offer the BEST support and are definitely worth the money.

Replacing Custom Orthotics - A few years back, I had surgery on my foot to get rid of the pain after having kicked a chair leg with my toe. I can no longer bend the toe and was told to use a custom orthotic in a New Balance shoe which has a sole that won't bend, #926. The custom orthotics were never quite right and I had to continually add more support where it was needed. The Superfeet Premium Green are at least equal to the custom orthotics. I do put the original footbed from the New Balance on top of them, for a little cushion. I'm glad to find something that will work for my feet without the bother and expense of orthotics. I would recommend them to anyone who needs stability.
I'd also recommend:

Superfeet green - I purchased these insoles as a gift and my friend loved them. The only comment he had was that it took a few days to get used to them, and he worked up to the eight hours (his work day shift). When he tried to use them a full day the first day he developed leg cramps. After three days, gradually increasing the time on them, he now can wear them as long as he wants and loved them.

I bought these to see if they would add comfort to my Nike Pegasus running shoes. I found them to be way too hard for my feet. I wore them for about a week and a half and the entire time, I was keenly aware that they were in my shoes and didn't forget once because they were too hard for me.

Nice, but not great - I purchased these to go in my new New Balance hiking boots, but the boots were too narrow, so I'm using the Superfeet in some other shoes. I have wide feet with fallen arches, and I'm pretty heavy on the balls of my feet, so I need some good arch support and a good cushion. First let me say that I don't think these are really appropriate for people with wide feet, mine are EE to EEEE depending on the shoe. While I appreciate the firm arch support, I feel like my feet are spilling over the sides of the insoles. This has lessened with wear, but hasn't entirely gone away. The Superfeet size guide says that if you have wide feet you should get a larger size insole to accommodate and then trim it down, but I fear the metatarsal bump would then be extremely uncomfortable for me (see below for more on the bump). Next up is the cushioning factor. These are not very cushy, supportive, but not cushy. The plastic arch reinforcement runs most of the length of the insole and it has (what I think is) a metatarsal bump right behind the ball of the foot. When I put these in a pair of Ecco shoes, which already have one of those bumps built into the sole, it stuck up into my foot so far as to be painful, and I won't put these into my Eccos again. It is nice that these fit in most of my shoes and are easily transferable, but the lack of cushion and the width will probably prevent me from purchasing this model again. I would consider buying the Superfeet Orange which purports to have great cushioning.

Not really worth it - I'm kind of confused by these. I got the greens for extra arch support; the ones for flatter feet say they don't have full support, so I'm assuming these are "archier". I wear a woman's 11, so the size of Superfeet that fits lengthwise is pretty wide for all of my shoes (a combination of mediums and narrows, so if you have wide feet/shoes you'd probably be okay). I popped them in a pair of boots and a pair of sneakers, and wasn't too impressed. For comparison, I went out and got a pair of Profoot Aero-3s (they were like $13 or thereabouts) from the drugstore for comparison...and couldn't tell much of a difference. The Superfeet had a slightly more pronounced arch, but the cheapy ones were comfier and fit into my shoes much better. Planning to return them and use the price difference towards comfier shoes :)

Feels like hard plastic under my feet. Not as comfortable as advertised. I do not recommend this insole.

Good support, but no cushion - I was looking for an upgrade over my stock Air Zoom Vomero +2 insoles, which had over 300 miles on them. I was looking for something to provide more cushioning and a little bit more stability. Read the good reviews on these and thought I'd try them out. I've probably put close to 50 miles on them and I honestly don't like them. Not much cushioning and my forefoot and the outsides of both feet hurt after my long runs (7 to 8 miles). I didn't have this problem with my stock insoles, just a little bit of knee pain. I'm going to try the SOLE insoles and will provide a review of those after I get them from Zappos.com.

I tried Superfeet based on reviews but they did not work for me. My feet became even more painful. I need a softer insert and these are very stiff and hard.

Was looking for something with arch support and cushioning. Superfeet Premium Green supplied the arch support but not the cushioning. Hard plastic support under the heel area is not comfortable.

I got these for me and my husband (he has flat feet). I don't have any problems with my feet but thought these would give me better support. My husband has pain with his flat feet after standing or walking too long. My hubby and I found these very uncomfortable. The arch extends back to the heel and hurts. I phoned Superfeet and the rep said that was a common concern but that it was part of the design to better support the heel. I wear Birkenstock, clogs and other basic supportive shoes but never orthotics in my running shoes. I just think that a shoe should feel good and supportive. These for me and my husband just hurt. Perhaps for others with different needs or foot structure they would work.

So what is the difference between these and cheaper insoles? The price that's what. I went ahead and splurged a little extra on some pricey insoles for my work shoes and eagerly looked forward to some much needed relief for my feet. I stand on my feet all day on a hard concrete surface and most normal insoles don't give my arches the support they want, so based on the reviews from this site, I assumed spending a few extra bucks on these insoles would be a great solution. Turns out I was wrong. These things really don't seem to do all that much in the way of "providing comfortable support" as their description claims. Between these and some Dr. Scholl's, I would definitely so go for the less expensive brand. So in short, these things are not worth the price I paid and you could probably find a cheaper option out there.

These are hard. Only to support the arch of your foot. Not the insole you think of. It is so hard it bruised the bottom of my foot.
