I learned about these when buying a new pair of hiking boots in 2009. The boots were a lot of money, but they were disappointingly uncomfortable. The sales dude took one look at my high arches, ripped out the standard issue insoles and inserted these...it was like I was blind and could suddenly see. 3,000 ft in elevation up and down the next day and by the end everything else failed but my feet. Now they are in every boot I own. I spend a lot of time on my feet. These insoles are not cushy like other insoles. Somehow that works. If your shoe has low clearance at the arch or not much toe room, you may find the the insole makes things tighter.

First purchase after buying new running shoes; over pronation led to plantar fasciitis - since adding Superfeet Green to my running shoes (and replacing shoes) no more plantar fasciitis! I always purchase new Superfeet insoles when I buy new running shoes, I put the "old" Superfeet insoles in my hiking boots, winter boots - any shoes that will accommodate the additional size.

Premium Green for premium alignment. My husband is using this pair of Superfeet Premium Green orthotics for his cross country ski boots. Since we ski several miles at a time, we can't be too careful about our foot alignment. Injury prevention and stability is all about where the foot meets the ground...or ski, in this case. He has relatively neutral arches, with a slight tendency to pronate on the R ankle. The result is R hip pain when the alignment is off. We use Superfeet in all of our alpine and nordic boots, though not every family member has the same color or need. He is loving the feel of the orthotics and also the added warmth. We are in our 50's and cannot mess around with cheap footwear that add wear and tear to our joints. His boot is a men's 14 US or 48 Euro and the men's XL superfeet, fit into his boot perfectly with no trimming necessary.

Every time I buy a new pair of running shoes or a boot with a removable insole, I replace them with these! I love them!

As a diabetic 1 one can develop many different foot problems, such as ulcers which occur most often on the ball of the foot or on the bottom of the big toe. Ulcers on the sides of the foot are usually due to poorly fitting shoes. Therefore I use the Superfeet Premium Green to supplement my Zappos running shoes, which helps to align the bones of the foot, and therefore reducing the pain of my foot ulcers.

I've been using Superfeet for 10 years now. I went through at least 5 different brands/models of running shoes before I went to a running store and got a "gait analysis" - they recommended Superfeet with my Brooks running shoes and I've never looked back. They are awesome and I can't run without them. Also - one pair of these will last me through 2 pairs of shoes (i.e. 1,000 miles). I personally do not buy a new pair with every new pair of running shoes, but that's just me.

I put these inserts in all my athletic/hiking type shoes, except for Chacos, which have enough support. I wear a size 8 to 8.5, so I'm right on edge for sizing. I like the size C (women's 6.5-8) as I feel the arch fits better.

Very supportive and comfortable. The only issue is not the product itself but with the application. I use them in my older running shoes to give them new life as everyday shoes. They make those running shoes slightly too shallow. Nothing I can't live with for every day shoes though and it would not be an issue with deeper shoes or boots. The Superfeet greens are an excellent product.

I wear hiking boots around the farm every day. I buy boots big enough to fit these inserts and to wear heavyweight Smartwool socks. These give me the perfect support for walking and lifting heavy items. I won't wear boots without them. They are great for hiking too!

These are amazing! I get a pair for every shoe that's lacking arch support. Yes, they are stiff, but they're supposed to be - that's how they support your feet. First pair was purchased when I took a sales job and was standing all day. Now I can't (don't want to) go without them!

I worked in retail as a snowboard ( all snowboarding gear) buyer and made sure I had Superset stocked! Snowboard boots have awful footbeds and Superset were a must to keep my customers happy. One thing that you don't get when buying online is the story behind the product, how and why the product was developed. To keep it short and to the point, it's not your typical arch support. Soft arch (gel) support, or foot beds, actually defeat the purpose. The purpose is to keep all the bones in your feet where they are supposed to be. That's why Superfeet are stiff. As the bones spread and move, your feet hurt from the muscles trying to bring the bones back into their proper position. The doctor who designed Superfeet found that the best arch support is almost under your heel. It feels awkward at first, but you'll get used to it. And soon you won't be able to live without them. I can't snowboard without them. I have another pair for my flat soled Vans shoes. Since they last longer than my shoes, I switch them from old shoes to new shoes. Know what the different colors mean. They are different colors for a different fit. You should actually find a retail store that has knowledgeable sales people to get a proper fit. If it's a bad fit, you'll have a bad day.

I wear loafers so I had to do some modification and remove the front half. Once that was done the fit fine and are well worth the money. I tried Dr. Scholl's foot mapping not even close to as comfortable as these.

These insoles were recommended by my doctor to help reduce pain from plantar fasciitis. They definitely help, along with doing daily stretches. This is a much better option than custom made insoles!

These have really helped with my ankle pain. They take a little getting used to at first since they are a little stiff but after a while you won't notice them. They need to be stiff to give you the support you need without succumbing to your weight. Worth the money!

I seem to have developed flat feet. My Doctor told me to get firm inserts. I came back with some that I purchased in a sports shop. the Doctor said no, these are not firm enough. Go find someone who sells Superfeet. I found these at Zappos, now own 3 pairs and they have helped my condition tremendously. They are just what I need. Good stuff!!

Great insoles. They make older shoes feel new again, and are much better than he stock insoles on most new shoes. They've also lessened my knee pain considerably. A bit costly, but definitely worth it.

These insoles are very helpful with athletic shoes. Other models are suitable for other shoe types. They are about one tenth the cost of custom orthotics and are worth a try if you need customs. They take a little while to get used to. Just follow the instructions included. They are hard plastic, not gel insoles so your feet need to get accustomed to them. They can get wet unlike full custom orthotics, so you can use the Superfeet in boat or water shoes.

I wore very expensive custom orthotics for years due to an arthritic toe, high arches and supination. After having nagging hip pain, which was thankfully just muscular, the orthopedist recommended the Green Super Feet. I was very skeptical, but they really helped. They are firm but not hard, so apparently better for running than my expensive ones. I now have two sets and buy them for my son as well. This is an amazing find.

As with any type of shoe insert, you will like what feels best for your foot. I always replace the Merrell inserts with Superfeet because I like the additional support they add to the shoe. They don't add additional softness - they add support. If your feet like super-soft, you will not like these. Bottom line, Superfeet inserts give my feet, and subsequently my legs and hips the support needed to get me through the work day. And remember to read the description for each of the colors - they all support a little differently. When in doubt, call Zappos customer service -- they are wonderful!

I got these on the recommendation of my podiatrist after a long bout with Plantar Fasciitis. He said that the majority of his patients found relief without having to purchase expensive orthotics. They worked for me. I now use them in all my shoes. I can go on long hikes without having sore feet at the end of the day.

I used this when working in Vegas for a week and they felt great. Any time you are walking and on your feet for 10 hours your feet are going to hurt but these lessened the pain by a lot.

Best arch support you can get without going to a PT or a podiatrist. After getting these I get another pair every 6 months to a year depending on how much hiking I get in during summertime. These are amazing! You won't find any better and you'll spend even more for the stupid Dr Scholls. I've always had flat feet and knee issues and since I got these I never have any pain or issues. Best arch support I've had in a long time!
